My real name isn't Jessica (right?) ... how will you know when you find MY test results? Or should I post my test results along with my given name address and health card number and indicate that these are the test results for Miss Jessica Lee ... ? I don't know how that would improve branding and marketability. I do know about stalking .... or maybe I misunderstood...? Not to mention just the basic Privacy issues. Is EVERYONE (client and provider alike) supposed to post their STI STD tests. Where posted? A website...??? Now possibly big brother will have access to private medical information (yes STD/STI testing is medical) I don't know about you, but the only ones I want knowing my medical history is my doctor(s) lab personal and any other medical professionals. And would public posting of STD/STI tests be the thin edge of the wedge that all health records become public. Not to mention that with test results posted publically then it publically outs EVERYONE involved in this lifestyle, ladies and gentlemen alike...under their real name But my medical history is mine to see, not for the whole SP/Client community to see. I think the issue is not if people in the industry (SP'S and Clients) should get regular tests... of course for their own safety they should... but is this info of any value to client except as a demonstration of the individuals commitment to their own health.. asking for and seeing someone's "recent test results" means nothing unless there has been no sex since. Posting results on a website is totally useless as it compromises the privacy of the individuals and does not provide any benefit as noted above. I would not ask an SP/MA for a test result EVER, as I never EVER had an issue in my years with ANY of the ladies over my time. What does that tell you? Providers are much more vigilant about their safety and health then most guys would be. The last one was so detailed that it even documents the fact I get a cold sore every few years, so it's quite accurate. I think the lady who volunteered test results was attempting to bridge the gap. Yes, it can be faked, but perhaps there will come a time where authentic recent test results are as in demand as photo verification. This leaves what happened from the point of her test to your contact with her - and all your other contacts. Probabiliies suggest things are okay, at least from her, but why risk it? I get tested at the same time...kill two birds with one stone I get handed the lab requisition from my doctor to take with me to the lab After seeing the form it's not rocket science, any one with bare computer abilities could make up their own fake lab form and show this to a SP/Client to say they are STI/STD free. Even showing a form doesn't prove you have been tested...you have no way of knowing if the form is real or fake. BTW not a work of an active imagination. No names (legally bound :-( ) but there is a criminal, HIV positive, who told his girlfriend he was STD/STI free and showed the lab results...mind you he made the sheet up. He did this to have bareback sex with her. She got infected, has AID's and he now has AID's and at least, small comfort, but is doing time.
