I'm sure its been asked before but why does it seem like everyone is so infatuated with questionable girls of BP, when there are so many lovely and reputable ladies on here? It blows me away

They (and I) are looking at hot pics and ladies that may offer a different look or different type of service. In some cases meeting someone new is desirable. I do have to say there is usually minimal to no response here though. May be time for another board to start up for Halifax.

My thoughts on lack of response are probably because no one has information to share. I think this forum is pretty well read by people in this region. It could also be a case of people not having anything nice to say. But overall responses to questions like these do require people sharing information when they have it.

 

As for the question from the OP, I'll echo what Splatoon said, sometimes it's nice to meet new people. I don't venture outside of the cerb world very often but I have on a few occasions met some very lovely ladies that advertised on BP. Great encounters aren't just exclusive to cerb and sometimes it is worth the extra effort to find them.

Well, variety is the spice of life. Men can be fickle creatures, and I've even heard us be accused of having short attention spans. In a small market like ours, broadening your horizons to BP can literally quadruple your options in a given day/week/month.

 

And there are some rare gems to be found on there if you keep your wits about you and invest in some due diligence. It's usually pretty easy to weed out the sketchy ones. I think it is fantastic that CERB admin had the wisdom to allow conversation about backpage and even links to ads - it helps us share information about those gems and helps us stay safe.

 

Keep in mind:

- Some great ladies from CERB also advertise there;

- Just because someone is not on CERB doesn't mean they're not good;

All good points. There are some amazing ladies here on Cerb, and many of the better providers will gravitate here. Especially those who are interested in developing a business based on their reputation. The other site in question offers volume. Although traffic has increased here, the number of ladies posting ads is fairly low compared to cities such as Ottawa.

 

IMO, Cerb is a place to recommend escorts and other providers. Not just Cerb members. I do think we owe it to ourselves (and to the site) to spread the word about Cerb if we meet a new provider, but limiting the conversation to members only seems counter productive to me. I bet many ladies end up here due to the fact that there has been positive discussion about them.
