Annessa 22743 Report post Posted May 22, 2010 well clarified and I totally agree, we can't deny its part of the business. Just saying that we should't encourage it by saying so. Lets face it, a lot of guys will feel worse cancelling with a doctor than with someone they consider a prostitute that they can just swear off from that point on. (you HAVE to evetually speak to you doctor again...you dont really have to ever call an escort again if you dont show up). so in that sense it does make this a difficult industry to be in....we can only hope that the clients who wish to see us treat us with the same respect as they would any other professional that they hire in their day to day life....and know that if you treat us with that respect, we'll probably treat you a LOT nicer (*wink*) than your family doctor or you rental car agency...hehe I'm just saying it's part of the business around here, which is shady enough at times, but girls or guys, providers or hobbyists, it happens to everyone. Yes, some more than others. Not to say I agree with it, or appreciate it in any way, but I accept there are many people who lack integrity, courtesy and respect with their constant dishonesty, and I will have to pay for it as part of the overall participation in this industry here in Ottawa. I haven't been hobbying long (only since last Aug), but in my short time, my opinion and experience is that the Ottawa market has taken a big downtown since last Fall - and from the sounds of it, not just for the hobbyist. Let's hope the winds of change come soon and more ladies and gentlemen start to enter the market and the morons move-on. (I won't hold my breathe thou.) Its like my usual 'luck' was passed on to you...hopefully it goes away soon...(besides, im sure it will jump back to me again...i seem to be a favorite of that cruel mocking luck) I get extremely nervous before a meeting...but i have never no-showed before...at times i can get close to not...but i always think of how i would feel (or have felt, actually)...it isnt fair to do that to someone...respect is something that should be rampant, but is sadly lacking in this day and age... its as if we are de-evolving as a society... but thats a whole different rant... I hope you have a great weekend and hopefully one of these days i will have the pleasure of not no-showing on you!
