Yep, the nearest fault is near MTL, so the epicenter was likely near there. Based on how it felt here it was probably a 5.1 or so at the epicenter. Earthquakes are neat.... as long as they're somewhere else.

Reports seem to be preliminary, but it may be closer to Ottawa. Epicenter seem to be close to Buckhingham, which would explain why we felt it well here. I'm sure as the day progresses, the data will be confirmed as to the where and how strong. We'll just wait and see, i'm sure it will be on the news all day long.

Was felt from Quebec to Toronto to the states.

Since the quake, I have sporadic cell phone signals and have yet been able to make a call. Anyone else having this problem?

In the downtown core most of the government buildings evacuated and everyone was trying to call or text...basically the cell networks were jammed for a bit!
