A nice rich slightly-darker-than-lavender-but-not-as-ugly-as-mauve goes well with lighter reds and rich dark reds. Darker shades of purple look best with lighter reds. blues and greens are the best to wear with red locks. And those colours will also make your eyes pop! Someone told me the reason that green looks so fabolous on redheads is because green and red are on opposite sides of the colour wheel, therefore making them contrasting colours lol.
