Why are the providers using an app?

Recommended Posts

Why are the SP's using an app for phone numbers but require us not use the same app? I am all for provider safety but seems like a double standard.

It is a double standard. A reputable escort builds her reputation on discretion and security of the information you provide her with. This is why it's always stressed to do your homework especially with new or transient providers. A lady usually has a website, contact details, recommendations, ads etc. She has put part of herself out there. Apps are easy and usually cost effective in a business where it counts.

A person coming to see her is screened for a reason; they have nothing except the information they provide. This is why we request information that can be verified in some way. If you use this app, you can put in whatever information you like so in essence, if you use it, she knows nothing more about you then she did before you called or texted. Many times, the app blocks the number as well or makes it untraceable. Most ladies specify, no blocked numbers.

It ALL comes down to safety which is why there is screening in the first place. Every gentleman has the option to either provide or not provide the requested information. You can have the app however if a lady does not accept that, that is her option.

It is a personal business, and as such, the lady chooses to do what she is comfortable with and what makes her feel safe. Double standard or not, it is what it is.

It's actually a perfectly level playing field... clients can use an App and yes that might mean that some ladies will not accept booking requests but likewise a lady can use an App and some clients will not book with them.

That said let's be realistic... for the client your exposure is only to the ladies you choose to make your number available too... so you totally control who has access to your number... if you do your research and stick to booking established ladies or ladies that can be verified that risk can be effectively managed so it is minimal... of course if you are less cautious you might increase your risk the choice is yours.

In the case of a lady she is putting her number or email out to the world... she does not control who gets it and runs a huge risk that the person will harass her or bully her or try to out her so it's kind of reasonable that some ladies would use an app that is a cheap and easy way to have a number that they can use publicly and when their is a problem quickly discard.

In reality the lady has to do what she needs to do to protect herself and I am ok with that.

Just my Opinion

I use an app to for discretion.

I acknowledge its an app.

I never save contacts or information of any kind to my phone.

all i have to do is unistall the app and all the numbers go away. It doesn't show up on my bills anymore on who I texted or called or vice versa.

Only way my system works against me is I have to remember which number belongs with who but so far so good.

It helped me more then ways I wouldn't expect. But your privacy is just as important to me as it is for you.

I dealt with major creeps in the past, and having that extra layer helped.

People are referring to apps like "text now" and many others that for free or a very minimal amount provide people with a virtual phone number so they can text with the app and the other person sees the virtual number instead of their actual cell phone number.

The following post doesn't address apps in particular, but explains why I want a real phone number, so has relevance. Perhaps it will help you with your feeling of frustration, OP.

In my ads, I state that I do not answer blocked phone numbers. Many are frustrated by this, but that is one of my safety precautions that I need to have in place. Let me explain.

I am well aware of your need for discretion, and that some of you won't call an escort with your phone number revealed for that reason. I understand your hesitation to do so. Rest assured that I have no interest in ever revealing your name or number to anyone. Here's the thing:

The meeting of a woman with a male total stranger alone in a secluded place is fraught with potential danger. Even though YOU know that you are a good guy, I cannot be sure until we have actually met. Even for crazy serial killers it is fairly easy to pretend to be nice through emails, texts and phone calls. The reason I want the phone number of the total stranger that I am going to meet with is so that if, God forbid, one day I either go missing, or my body turns up dead, the authorities will have something as a starting point to try to track down the perpetrator. I am sure you can understand this very valid concern.

Once we meet, and we have had a delightful encounter in which no harm has occurred, all trace of you can be eradicated. I have absolutely no interest in ever revealing a client. This would be foolish, and death to my business. Trust and discretion are key components for a successful escort.

I know I miss lots of potential calls (cause I get blocked phone calls every day!), but it is a loss I am willing to take in order to feel safe meeting strangers.

Thank you for your courtesy and understanding.

xo
