A new book came out about a month ago called the Book of Awesome. It is the natural extension of a blogger's project to list 1000 awesome things... not stuff like the Sistine Chapel ceiling (which I must admit is awesome) or the Grand Canyon (also awesome.) He started the blog and book when things were going downhill in his life and needed to see simple things that made him smile. This list has stuff like "popping bubble wrap," "the cold side of the pillow," "the smell of air in a bakery." Simple stuff that makes you smile... sooooo... let's try this out.... Here goes: 1. The feel of twirling soft hair between my fingers 2. A seductive whisper 3. A kiss with a sweet aftertaste. 4. A unexpected smile from a stranger. 5. Something so funny it makes you pee (just a little bit) 6. A steak cooked to perfection. 7. A great hair day 8. The first time she says, "I love you." (that was sappy but how can you argue with it?) 9. An ice cold beer on a hot day 10. An obscure song that just takes you back to that perfect day. your turn!!!!

i also voted for south park . they are the leaders in cutting edge material at the moment , but gotta give it up to the simpsons without them none of these shows would exist .

Nothing ruins a mood more than STD talk.. but what's worse is a guy asking during an appt or calling me up after having left the appt due to some guilt about having strayed and asking me ''are you clean"? Hell ya.. I'm clean and I plan to stay that way.. the riskiest behaviour I engage in without protection is DATY. I don't do BBBJ. Both are considered very low risk activities on the scale of risk. I have been told however I give better head with a condom than many women without.. and they do make condoms way better for sensation than they used to. Other than looking while getting undressed because I always like to see what I'm doing.. mirrors anyone?.. I don't do a formal inspection.

I get the humour in this and I appreciate the intent, but it always annoys me just a little bit when SPs and other related industry-folk are portrayed as a bit lazy, shallow people who bat their eyelashes and get money thrown at them...maybe strippers lead different lives than SPs (probably not), but I hope you guys certainly don't think it's close to reality. My phone doesn't ring every minute, I don't hang out at clubs by night and tanning salons by day, and I certainly have never, ever, ever asked a "friend" or client for money. I earn the money I make and though it's an enjoyable job (especially compared to a $10/hr customer service career), it's not easy. We don't all expect a man other than a client to pay for everything- the best thing about this job is that it gives me financial independence so I don't rely on a man to pay for stuff for me. A bit ironic, sure, but life is full of irony.

Whenever I meet with an SP/MP, whether it be for the first time or as a repeat appointment, I find it only courteous to commence with an interesting dialogue with the person. This breaks the ice, sets the mood and allows the two of us (or more!) to become a little better acquainted. I cannot simply step into a room, discretely deposit the gift and then disrobe to make out. Chatting, while engaging one's partner with eye contact and accompanied by light feathery caresses along the arms , legs or neck, is only a precursor of things to come. Conversation I find is a means of relaxing and starting to relate with your partner(s). It can be mundane, spicy, or sensually erotic with innuendos and double-entendres. We each experience life in totally different manners as compared to others. Having a dialogue allows a comparison of experiences, it sets at times a common ground for enjoyment and also helps to explain what it is we wish to experience during our time together. Mind reading is not yet an every day occurrence. We must talk!
