I am really new to cerb and in all honesty I too post on CL. If it weren't for a customer from CL i would have never heard of cerb. I started my career in Toronto and there was a member of "terb". I was not aware of anything other so in coming to NB and realizing i could not post in the local paper the next best option was CL. I understand that there has been alot of drama centered around CL but with that in mind it has to be said that CL is huge all over North America expecially the States. It is probably one of the biggest free advertizing sites there is. So drama comes with the territory. As stated by Grass-hopper "......there's a lot of competition, but someone who's reliable and offer a good level of service should'nt be worried about this..." We as a good healthy community should know how to seperate the good from the bad. There are a number of good experenced SP's that use CL and should be mentioned among others of the same level, even if they are not members of cerb. I feel that cerb is not as popular in Moncton as i could be and by opening the door to those who havent experienced the level of comfort that can be formed between members here on cerb we can help create a better atmosphere for both SP's and hobbiest(costomers) who dont know general respectful behaviour within this industry. There is alot of information that can be found on cerb for both SP's and hobbiest that can possibly help eliminate B&S situations, no-shows or just common rudeness due to ignorance for the industry. Alot of CL advertisers are new to the industry and are inexperienced they need to be shown how to behave to make their own career smooth. Well I hope this makes sence to everyone and i wasent just blowin hot air. I have gained wonderful friends through terb and hope to do so here on cerb in the months to come.... to the guy that gave me the recommendation to CERB THANK-YOU.

Hi everyone, First thank you for reading my thread! It's long and more of a rant, but I just wanted to share and see what kind of response I got I'm just wondering, and would like feedback on this topic. It's a situation I've been having lately, specially with 21 years old. Not that they are the only ones but they seem to be the most common. They start their conversations with: "Hi I'm 21 years old, good looking, how about you cut me a deal and I treat you like a lady, you might like it!" When you give them your rate, they keep taking your time asking personal questions, then they say they don't want to book they want to be friends, get to know you and see where it goes from there. When you explain to them that you post because you want to make money, and this is your work. You are not friends, but clients, either don't believe you or ignore it and they keep persisting. I'm just curious if, and I'm sure the answer will be yes, other SPs get this type of client and if they do, what do they say to get them to either book or rid of them? I've used a lot of different techniques and none seem to work. I've even told 1 guy who said:(note: this conversation happened after he told me he was shy and needed to talk to SPs 1st before booking) "I would like to get to be your friend, go out for drinks nothing sexual, just friends and see if we click" I replied: "Great you want to be my friend, then I will meet you for drink but, I will be accompanied by my fiancee is that OK?" (I figured that would get him to give up) He replies: "why would he come?" ME: "Well see, we have an agreement, when we go out with friends we always go out together. Most times that is the only time we spend together, therefore if you want to be my friend then I guess you have to live with him being around!" I then get the obvious response: "Well I was hoping to be friends and see where it goes from there!" Note for all you hobbyist reading this: (And I'm sure most of you probably know this, so please do not think that I am being condescending to you. I'm just ranting and hoping that this will help people who don't look at life this way, to have at least a different perspective) In my humble opinion, if you see someone posting on any erotic board or boards dedicated to SPs odds are we are not looking for dates. Most of us already have relationships outside of our work. Please do not waste our time by trying to entertain a relationship right from the start. (If you are looking for a relationship, there are tons of dating sites full of women waiting to chat and do the dating thing!) Book our time, spend some time with us (for a fee), then you never know we may just like you and want a relationship! And for those of you who have this theory "I would never pay for sex!" Ask yourself this: Have you ever picked up a girl at a bar and bought her drinks, supper, movie, clothes, jewelry, etc... slept with her but didn't have a relationship her? If your answer is YES then you've paid for sex. It's not because she was in a bar that you didn't exchange something for the sex you got. This said, the only difference between that girl in the bar and an SP is; you don't have to spend 4 hours trying to pick us up by making an impression all you need to do is call and show up. With her you're not even guaranteed to get any action, no matter the amount of drinks you buy her. With us you are, if you pay of course. So if you want a relationship, pay our time instead of drinks, use the time to flirt and try and gain our attention you never know it just might work! See . Different setting.same result!

Ok lets put this into prospective with a trend toward any generic business: Business is slow at some times of the year but not in others. Customer service and satisfaction should be of the utmost importance. Staff get ill, have lives and family emergencies. Customers get ill, have lives and family emergencies. Some companies have better reputations than others. As a consumer you can always vote with your feet, and should do so if the business is not to your satisfaction. Any company still reserves the right to refuse service in this country. No customer should be harranged by staff. No staff should be harranged by customers. Some companies are final sale. How is this any different than this business?

Hey! We know our limits... Does'nt look the same for everybody!.. BTW, Chavez, now that I know you are the kind of customer I really don't want to meet (I like my clients to smell good... Poor third girl!), and wich is not too tired (7 hours marathon, after working late... Really?), I'm glad you've post those immature and useless comments. This way, I have a better idea of who you are. You can always edit your posts tho. Also, we are all having a lot of sex... Some can afford it, others are gifted for giving it. You don't need to talk about it. I don't think it would interest anybody in here...

Some background. These packets, TCP or UDP, are means by which one computer program communicates with another. For example, as you browse the Web TCP packets are being sent to (and from) your Web Browser to (and from) the web servers. Other applications may send or receive packets as well. To differentiate the various applications they use something called a port. IP Address = building address. Port = apartment number. Imagine there is an apartment building. To find out if someone lives in an apartment you could send each apartment a letter with a SASE. If you get a reply you can safely say someone lives there. In geek speak we call this probing. These computers all over the world are probing to find out if an application is on that port. If there is one they will now send a identification probe to find out what specific application is on that port. From there they can craft a specific probe to take over the application [1]. Once that is accomplish they can attempt taking control of your computer. But why ? There are two main reasons: 1. they are viruses trying to infect another machine 2. they are botnets (robotic networks) trying to add another machine to their group. Botnets are use for: a. capturing user information for identity theft b. massive spam senders c. dissemination of illicit material d. aiding in attacking computer resources (distributed denial of service) A majority of the botnets are under control of criminal organization who rent these computers out. It is estimated that over 60% of PC around the world are under the control of at least one botnet [2]. Your firewall is the first line of defense in protecting your computer. Hopefully this helps. et [1] this is the reason to keep your computer security updated. [2] it takes about 12 mins for a brand new (unsecured) PC to be taken over by a botnet after it is plug into the Internet.

I met Stevie Ray Vaughn in person and have his autograph which I cherish. I was born in Montreal Quebec, but only lived there for a short time because my father was in the Air Force. Things I am Happy About: I got to see my mother in the hospital hours before she died. Travelling to Switzerland staying and visiting the Swiss Alps. Obtaining my green card and actually giving it a shot living in the States and realizing I am much happier living in Canada. That I was blessed with 3 beautiful and smart nieces who I love dearly. Regrets: Not getting to see Led Zeppelin before they disbanded. Not buying into Microsoft back in the early 80s when a friend of mine was convinced mainframes were on there way out and he was telling us we should take a chance and buy stock (he bought and I have no idea where he is now - probably has his own island in the Carribean) Not having children. Not looking under Old Dog's kilt when I had the chance. Oh wait, that wasn't a kilt, it was a plaid housecoat.

I think at this point enough has been said, by everyone. As you pointed out, right now it seems a lot more like a desire for attention. The more people keep this sub-topic alive the more he wins. Best strategy for internet trolls is to just let them flame out or become contributing members to the community (I've seen it happen I swear!). On to the drunk horndogs!

Wow. There's not much to add... wow. I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised when my 2 o'clock cancelled. Flyer had been pm'ing me constantly wanting to know what the RJE was all about.... not many get the full Ron Jeremy Experience. I thought, "what the hell?"... the Flyer is that kind of special. What could happen in 15 minutes??? Woooo hoooooo.... I am glad I had the extra pair of ass chaps.... and the ten gallon hat??? By the time we were done it was almost filled to the brim. ABBA was quickly forgotten, we moved quickly to Starland Vocal Band's "Afternoon Delight"... and I must say that it certainly was.... the emergency chute and slide was not the only thing that inflated rapidly *wink* You must drop by the next time you are in Ottawa... I just had the faux fur replaced in the 1976 AMC Pacer... it is to die for.... and we can experience the rumpus room with my collection of velvet Elvises (velvet Elvii??)... with the almost wood panel and the orange shag, it is a splendour to behold... and remember Saturdays are Sloppy Joe nights and I may even let you browse through my collection of Scandinavian porn on Beta!!!! Boooom chicka wow wow!!!!

Well said. CL is simply an advertising site, just like any other. There are paid and unpaid sites out there, and the chances of good and bad experiences come equally. Before they used CL, the scammers used other venues including paying for ads which sounds unbelievable but true. Personally as someone who uses it, I plan to continue because no other site (or combination of sites and other venues) can compete with the traffic that we get as working sps from that site. No other site can offer someone testing out the business as an sp an opportunity to set herself up to get to that place where she has fancy ads and websites and pictures. And no other venue has the ability to find absolutely new to this clients who don't have a ton of expectations or concerns about setting up an appt and just having a good time. They don't flit from sp to sp, as do those on the other review boards. They become long term regular clients, are as respectful, courteous, wealthy, hygienic, as any one with more experinence in this hobby. They are as likely to be rude or not as anyone who finds us on sp advertising forums, and as likely to show or no show as well. Neither the clients nor the sps who use CL are the dregs of society, or less worthy or less reputable than the sps and clients of other sites. CL is not the place to go only when you want to find some cheap date with questionable services. It is extremely offensive to me and others I am sure to be lumped in with some broad brush strokes, sweeping everyone who uses it like something distasteful. we have experienced escorts who charge 350-400-500 per hour with extremely good reputations and very well reviewed use it regularly. If someone thinks they are too good for CL, or somehow thinks they are "better" than those who use it, or that the cliente is less worthy of their time, I wonder what they think of these ladies who place ads there? You really think someone who advertises a special at 400/hr daytime rate is going to have to deal with a lot of 80 buck offers lol? I think that I really really get offended by such statements as this not just because I and many sps I know and admire use it, but also that the clients who come from seeing my ads there a truly wonderful men. I feel distressed that anyone would consider that these guys are unworthy of their consideration, or less than human because they use CL. I feel sorry for anyone who is so narrow and judgmental about this topic, that they would prefer to view the advertisers as subpar or not capable of a professional attitude. Fact is many of the well reviewed and reputable ladies of cerb use CL. Diss CL and you diss us all, imo. Also, if you haven't used it, then perhaps sit back and listen to the advice and experiences of those of us who do. If after 3 years, neither grasshopper nor myself have abandoned using CL, there must be something to it, no?

When I was a stripper, I would have several young guys tell me: "It must be so great getting to dance for a guy like me rather than these old farts." Truth be told, I'd take a respectful, mature man in his 40s or 50s anyday over a cocky, hot, young dude.

if this was a reputable SP this is indeed intolerable...however there are some things to consider.... did you confirm exactly the time and give all the info provided to the SP that she required to make the booking? I have had many fellows saying (after getting all my info, rates etc) that they will "call back around that time" instead of making a solid booking (name, phone number, time, etc) at the time of their phone-call (this does not mean you have a confirmed booking) ..not saying you didnt do so but I have had many annoyed potential clients who have felt blown off if I am taking another appointment because they couldn't commit and would rather book last minute. However, I would never dream of answering my cell in the middle of another call to tell them 'too bad so sad!" ! One...that would be disrespecting the client I was seeing and two...would be an unnecessary digg at you. another thing to consider is that someone answered while in a session saying she was doing so (and in no less...in EMAIL form??)....in my experience, I NEVER answer my phone (or surf my emails) while taking another appointment...that is just plain rude to the person I am seeing! I leave my phone in another room when I am in a session. So you have to ask your self...was she actually seeing someone else (who for some reason is letting her answer her phone or reply to her emails while shes servicing him???)...or is she avoiding you? Something you may want to ask the SP in question is if you have said or done something to make her feel uncomfortable taking your appointment...to me, it sounds like this may have been the case (as no one reputable will text you back mid-session with someone else to say she cant see you)..sometimes a lady will decide that certain things have made her uncomfortable about accepting a client...and sadly some will give little (or false) explanation as to why they are busy rather than being truthful to save your feelings. If i were you i would ask politely if there was something in your communication that made her uneasy....a proper SP if given this window of opportunity to express her anxiety should take the noble route.......and if she says that she is still with said client...I dont think you should at all rank her amongst the professionals. (who are certainly not answering their phones or replying to emails in midst of a session!)
