Unbelievable. Two members from cerb have donated towards Alex's birthday. I only charge him for my travel expenses because he has no extra money. I don't think money should necessarily stand in the way of someone like Alex finding a little joy. He never asked to be born with Cerebral Palsy. Anyway, I know his 2 younger brothers also donated towards my arrival. I don't know if either cerb member wants this to be anonymous or not. Since I don't know the answer, I will thank you both here, for your unsolicited and unexpected gesture of generosity. There's 2 more angels walking among us.

I apologize if this seems like a bit of a hijack but I saw this thread and had to comment. I wish people who demonize this profession could read this thread. Here's a situation where undoubtedly a great guy, Big Al, is afflicted with a disability that unfortunately in our superficial world, many people cannot see past. So what happens, in steps a woman who is not only beautiful on the outside but more importantly, beautiful on the inside (this is what I tell my daughter all the time) who brings him the happiness we all deserve. While I in no way can compare my situation to Big Al's, over the past 8 years since my divorce I've faced my share of challenges and at times loneliness. During some of those times I've had the luck to spend some time with some of Winnipeg's fine SP's and if only for a short time, they made me feel like someone deserving the company of a beatiful lady. Anyway, Happy Birthday Al. I know you'll have great one and to Soleil, you are proof that angels walk amongst us. Cheers

My best guess is that women feel threatened by sex workers, that we are competition for their boyfriends or husbands!

Isabella, personally speaking what a person in any walk of life chooses to disclose or not disclose is their own business! If you choose to keep your country of origin confidential so be it! I fail to see the problem with this scenario. I hesitate to think that you would ask any of your current or potential clients where they live, where they work or where they are from. Of course after a few dates and a certain comfort level is obtained certain personal information might indeed be shared but not expected! Whether you are proud of your nationality or not it is still your decision to reveal it to the public or not! I personally think that asking a question like this, especially during initial contact, is just disrespectful and in poor taste. But that is my opinion and by no means legally binding. My advice would be to continue with the status quo and if/when you become comfortable with a client tell him then...if he is curious. Obviously you want play this close to your chest and I see no reason to change just because a few people are wondering where you are from!
