  1. When developed it was Time Out Flotation (owned by Cal it was initially a dry cleaners) which featured sensory deprivation flotation tanks which were the rage in the mid-80's after a movie called Altered States featured them. At one point there were 50 or so tanks in operation at a variety of facilities in the city. Once the craze passed it was converted to a separate space like EB, then became combined.

    The tanks were pretty cool.

  2. All sites and platforms have there pro's and con's and it really depends what it's being used for. As a long time player and the fact due diligence has never been more important than now, I use all of them for research. Twitter is gaining popularity and some folks do prefer review board (s) vs recommendation board and various players use all and some none. There are also various options for advertising for expanded reach.

So it really depends on individual goals.

  3. It's not rocket science and red flags are readily apparent if you pay attention. As with any thing in life common sense..... is just that common sense.

I have a strict criteria I developed for me through trial and error of course and I stick to and its serves me well. I can tell almost instantly whether to delve further into something or not.

  4. Much like dancing each partner is different so good communication, taking ones time and paying attention is key for me. What worked well with some one may not work well at all with some one else. Even day to day there can be different wants and needs. Being "married" (pun) to a certain style can counterproductive, switching it up can be a good thing. Reading female erotica has been helpful for me as well.

If you're doing it "right" .......you'll know and vice versa. I saw some one regularly who would leave a pillow for me to kneel on at the foot of the bed and it was the first thing on the agenda each visit. I guess in this case I was doing it "right".

  5. Not much of a status guy myself. Could really care less and as some one who chose the work world over the education world it was the right choice for me. Never chased the Jones and am happy to live the way I do, which is not complicated and very well compared to lots so I have no complaints.

I recall speaking to a graduating Master's class in Environmental Studies, I was the CEO of an largish environmental organization at the time and they were rapt with interest and attention, I clearly new my stuff and was an effective and engaging speaker. During Q/A the question of my education came up and they were more than a little surprised to hear I had no post-secondary education at all. Interesting that their tone and body language toward me changed and that I was sort of no longer worthy to listen to. I was used to this type of reaction and kinda relished the opportunity to engage with them. As I explained I didn't need to be an expert in this field or any other field.....I could hire all the experts I'd ever need.

What I can do is manage people and the organization......which isn't that common.
