    What is 420? the term 420(pronounced four twenty, not four hundred and twenty), was police code for smoking marijuana in a feature on pager codes that teenagers use to "talk" to each other. Police dispatch code for smoking pot is 420. The number 420 is not police radio code for anything, anywhere. Checks of criminal codes suggest that the origin is neither Californian nor federal. For instance, California Penal Code 420 defines as a misdemeanor the hindrance of use of public lands. There are approximately 420 active chemicals in marijuana. Actually, there are approximately 315 active chemicals in marijuana. This number goes up and down depending on which plant is used. April 20th is National Pot Smokers Day. Well, it is now; but that wasn't the origin. April 20th is Hitler's birthday. Yes, it is his birthday. But, as 420 started out as a time, not a date, his birthday had nothing to do with it. April 20th is the date of the Columbine school shootings. This happened after the term was already in use. 4:20 is tea time for pot-smokers in Holland. Tea time in Holland is at 5:30 pm, or is it 2:30 pm? Seems no one is quite sure when the wonderful people of Holland drink their tea. Ok, now I have said too much, I'll leave it at that.

    I was surprised to hear that today that Randy Savage died in a car accident. I was a big fan of wrestling in my younger days and always enjoyed watching him (and Miss Elizabeth) and Hulk Hogan etc.

    Until I was in my early 30's I was going down the Rouge River in the white water rafting wearing a wet suit of course except for 2 time when the water was warm enough.

    I grew up really fast at a young age and could get into bars at the age of 14 without being carded or was it because it did not really matter back then. In any case I was sent to buy Penthouse and Playboy magazines at the local corner store and wanted to quickly get out of there so to not see anyone I knew. After the purchase I look behind me and there stood our neighbor waiting in line and she had that confused look on her face like what would a 14 year old boy do with these books? I was afraid she would tell my parents about it, but never heard nothing. She always looked at me strange after that day.

    You go to your local grocery store and buy hamburger patties and buns and all the trimming for them for your guests coming tonight. They arrive and you spark up the BBQ enjoy some drinks and are having fun, your propane tank runs empty, no problem you take a quick run to fill it up and hurry back home. Now your cooking all your meat and get ready to put the buns on the grill only to find out they are past due 4 days and have green spot all over. Too late to go and get more buns cause your meat will be cold and not that good reheated.
