  7. To Emily's point, just to add to my last post.. The camera may belong to someone else, but the memory card stays with the SP/MA. Thx
  8. Selfies can be fun.. at best.. most are less than ideal simply because its such a poor quality shot; blurry, crappy framing, lousy exposure (in a photographic manner here plz) and the background in the selfy... a lot are taken in the bathroom and you see every single article of personal toiletry all over the ba-jesis place., it looks like a total disaster.. or in a bedroom that has 4 piles or dare I say mountains of laundry that needs attention... and that is supposed to be sexy..??? ..just generally unflattering to the lady in question IMO, and not the best to promote your business. Yes Pro-shoots have the biggest wow factor and yes, it can be expensive. What puzzles me, is everyone know someone ( another SP or MA, or just a friend that is cool) with a half decent DSLR and even a simple point-and-shot digi-cam.. right..?? So take an hour or 2 from your day, pick some of your favorite outfits, a glass of wine and have fun.. ;-) My 2c. D.
  9. A clean scent is no issue.. >off-topic... cigarette smell is would be an absolute killer for me.. With 2 teenaged boys in the house, soaps and shampoos / bodywashes rotate as high rate of knots at my place. Boys can be just as bad as teen girls.... me- YO.. out the shower..!!! its been 20 minutes.. you are getting the hot water bill.." LOL So my point is, as long as its a fairly regular scent - no issues here what ever it is. It just cant be overpowering - thats all.. D.
  10. Thanks Jafo..! I did have a start button emulator prior to 8.1. It was OK but not more. uninstalled it for upgrade to 8.1. I was under the impression MS had incorporated it for 8.1.. apparently not.. I started with your suggestion, so far so good.! Cheers
  11. Thanks everyone for your input.. Glad to hear that I am not the only with Win8 nausea.... I did update to 8.1.. looks all the same to me..!?! The 'Start button' at bottom left isn't at all like to former XP or 7.. just flips me to the Win8 sort-of desktop with apps blocks... What gets me the most is the constant menus that slide in at any given moment from the right while trying to use the touch pad.. or you are randomly flipped to your desktop at any given moment again... Drives me BERSERK...!!! MAke it stop..!!! Ok ..I'm ok now... breath... breath.... LOL D.
  12. Being hauled out of bed by my youngest.. "Dad..! the toilet is leaking all over the floor."..! First it was the SO breaking 23lt of expensive wine on the floor and now this... that wet-dry vacuum has seen more action in the last month then last summer. Well at least this is an easy fix - a quick trip to HomeDepot for a new tank bolt.. So the day begins... D. Ahh and i just realized... the copies of Playboy in the bottom of the magazine basket are probably soaked... :-(
  13. I'll give you that Megan.. although all my tablet / phone applications are Android. I can assure you that Win 8 on a laptop is sheer frustration..!! Give me back Win XP or 7.!! I need more wine... ;-) D.
  14. FUCK... I hate Windows 8.!!!! Thanks D.

  18. This is a follow up on my " things that suck" post earlier today... Woodshop.... The drive pulley on my wood-turning lathe just completely shattered and disintegrated ... so much for my too do list.. (sigh) D. Called the Canadian Tire 1-800 line looking for some replacement parts - parts no longer available for this unit at all. I am referred to my local store and advised to talk to the store manager. So I returned to Cdn Tire with the exploded pulley fragments and the original 15 y.o. receipt from said wood lathe. Explained what happened to a nice young lady and she saiz 'let me make some calls' and call you back.... Which she did by 3PM. I can offer you a full refund for your lathe Sir... WOW... not such a bad day after all.... D.

  20. Yes Gents, cleavage is fantastic .. :-) The SO is too conservative to display any... ( it would help if she ... Dohh better not go there...!! LMAO) But publicly, get caught gawking at cleavage ever so slightly too long .. and get the " you're such a perv" look... well, if the hat fits.. LOL I'll stop here... D.
  21. A landing strip is really nice..!! otherwise shaved. ... but i dont mind the full bush either.. and.. Heck!! I'm just happy to face plant..whatever the decor... ;-)

  23. Hotel/condo etc dont bother me in any way... As discussed in past threads... ' act like you belong there' = no probs. Two of the biggest factors are: 1-how far I have to drive... and some times I dont feel like trugging all the way downtown, or if I'm in the west, going to east-end is less appealing.. I understand this detail is particular to ME.. Other hobbyist may not care at all. 2- Is parking, again being downtown, if there is no immediate parking (dare I say free parking!!) I am quite likely not to consider a visit. Once I ended up being late for an rendez-vous just because there was no parking available... may I say that is one of my pet-peeves... I realize SPs wish to be fairly central and try to be easily accessible (no pun intended here.. plz ;-) ) and maximize there business potential.. but going downtown, is just ughhh..!! My 2c D.
