  12. People always used to comment on my Eastern Euro looks, so I looked for an Eastern Euro name that sounded like something I would actually change my name to. I figured if I did it that way, it would feel "natural" (and it does). Eva was the one I felt most drawn to, and made me feel the prettiest. The "Adore" part came from the song Ava Adore, which got stuck in my head as I was looking for names (since I chose Eva, which I pronounce EEE-va, not AY-va). I thought it was funny and ironic, so I kept it. I recently added the "Bancroft" since I love the Lara Croft video games and character. Angelina Jolie is one of my favorite actresses, and I loved her in the Tomb Raider movies as Lara. It also makes me feel regal and stately, and the meaning of the name is "on a high hill overlooking a large meadow" according to the website I found it on.
  13. I'm gonna take Brad's format, since I love lists! Something personal: To stop procrastinating so much, study more, and spend more time outside with my dog. Also, I wish I could gain more weight, since I have lost a lot due to stress and my ass has disappeared :( Something general: I would change the fact that it is socially acceptable and encouraged to rip other people apart for petty and mundane reasons. Something small: Every big-box store should deliver, and for free (or a nominal $5 fee). Also, duckface must die. Something big: Political corruption and unfairness.
  14. Hey guys, I'm glad you brought that up! There is definitely a ton of ways to build and promote your business online and having your pictures plastered all over the place won't necessarily work for everyone. I know I've had my pictures stolen in the past and used on other websites that I didn't approve of, which caused me some unnecessary grief (a friend of mine saw them and showed them to my entire circle of friends, which basically "outted me" to everyone I'm close to). It always sucks when things like that happen, but you just need to be more careful and savvy. Plus it's a risk you have to take if you want to be open and out in the world. Nothing on the internet ever dies, so you have to be sure of what you're putting out there. On the other hand, though, because the technology now has made it so easy to create a nice looking website and there are many cheap options available for people to get up and running I would have thought that more SPs would take advantage of the tools available to them. That's why I was asking for opinions from hobbyists and SPs alike. Cool subject and food for thought!

  22. I had a gentleman leave his wallet out on the table one time and almost walk out without it. After I had pointed it out, I told him "In the future, you may want to keep your wallet in your pocket, because you never know." I would never get offended if a man wanted to keep his wallet or other personal belongings within eye/arm reach, or keep it hidden. When I do outcalls, I always keep my purse within view, and if I use the washroom I bring it with me. I don't think there is anything wrong with that at all. If an SP or Hobbyist alike get offended by that, I think that would flash warning bells moreso than the other way around. There is an element of trust to every encounter, sure, but nobody wants to take an unnecessary risk. When you cross the street, you look both ways, don't you?
  23. WOW!!!! This is a step in the right direction! I read it wrong the first time, I had to read the comments to fully understand what is happening... but now that I have, I am so happy! And just in time for me to get back to work!!! YESSSSSS
