not only is this a real job this job also is lacking a lot of support for people who are struggling with many things outside of the work and inside of the work and pushing them away isn't going to get them feel like they are have a solid support system. the thing with most other jobs out there they have a solid support and community in place. I struggled with my own issues that were personal and work related along and the hardest part that I struggle with is finding a place that I can reach out to for support and even some business guidance since everyone in this has thier own individual way of working this and it doesn't work for someone else so then it creats tension and isolation. shalya leaving i believe that was username being sent away may not help her in what she is struggling with and if your left in isolation for a long period of time breaking through that is a hard struggle.

I get harrassment calls or emails from time to time on a bad day they are hard to ignore but when things are going good they are the last thing on my mind. the most annoying is when they sending non-stop text messages saying how you need a pimp and they are contacting you to save you.

you pretty much have to pick whch side you want to be on a blog that is linked to your working persona or a blog that is seperate with its own indentity there are some people out there in the hobby world- clients or providers that have found my blog and tried to link to my working persona twitter and I fear its just asking for trouble since I am going into some pretty deep stuff about my life that might be turn-off to potential clients. I have a blog I write regularly on that i try and keep as seperate as possible from my current working persona. I gave my blog a new writting anme so I can freely express what I want on it. I also attend blogging conferences and other social media conferences to talk with other bloggers out there to expand my readership and be apart of another community. and since Ihave been able to do that I find that I am happier with free writting on my blog and also not worried about what clients might think of the blog if they stumble on it.

Well if this is dicussed in a general sense and not directed at specific SP or agency I think talking about this should be ok. I determined my rates by many factors at first I thought I would charge what I was getting from the agencies I use to work at then self doubt kicked in and I wondered if I was charging to low probably becasue of chatter or other boards. but then I took a step and focused on what I wanted to accomplish from being a SP and what I could handle for a realstic work week for myself, then I determined my new set of rates and I do my best to ignore the negative chatter.

I don't have the formal education level I thought I would have for someone for my age, but I have noticed that doesn't really matter so much when it comes to seeing clients, being knowledgeable about other topics does help with conversation but you can get that from reading books and news articles. If someone is trying to "test" they are just being an ass. You can also go back to school if you really want to do it, and if that is something you really want to do then that journey will help with your own personal growth and no one else's
