Mulletman, you are right! And who wants to start an hour of relaxing massage when they are pissed off. Really I hate that question, since I know they will never be happy with the answer.

Have been to Unit 21 numerous times and sometimes get into that catch 22 situation. (a dilemma or difficult circumstance from which there is no escape because of mutually conflicting or dependent conditions.) When asked how much would I like to spend, I responded honestly and was greeted with a look of real horror. Why ask if you are not going to be happy with the answer? Lewis Street was amazing, fun and worth another visit. :-)

Nini is a lot of fun, so if you would like a decent massage from a funny, lively young woman, you can't go wrong.

Thanks for your excellent question:-) I like to know that I am welcome and that can happen with a smile and a genuine hug. It is difficult to imagine how you can do this every day with every customer, yet I think most can tell when you really enjoy your work or not. I really appreciate someone who wears clean comfortable clothing...something a date or girlfriend might wear. In other words, make it feel normal as opposed to staged. A classy black tshirt without bra is very much what I mean. Awesome question. Thanks

Interesting, I have been there a year or so ago. It is a hair salon with a small massage room at the back. The salon owner used to rent out the room to a massage therapist. Might be worth a try again :-)

Yes, it is a little scary on the outside..certainly not your upscale spa. Inside, you will find a genuinely friendly welcome and a decent massage.

Followed Gorilla's suggestion and visited for a Thai massage this afternoon. Agree that the massage was really very good. I asked for a combination of stretches and oil massage. Hours later, I can still feel the sensations in my body.... no kidding.

I am very happy that Kim is married and has adopted her new boundaries. I would certainly see her again and respect her new life.

Tried Googling the name and still can't find it in Ottawa. There are references to it in other cities, so maybe its a chain? Any details on location in Ottawa would be appreciated.

I agree with Whiteman and have spoken with Lesley, since her English is a little better than her friend's, who I did meet. (They share a room) It seems that Lesley is becoming a regular visitor to Ottawa, and found them friendly, polite and a great experience.

Interesting question. Here is an idea...try a snug. A snug is a partitioned seating area in some Irish pubs.There are a few at the Heart and Crown for example. Certainly private enough to snuggle. :-)

I also understand very well the importance of trust and maybe even dependence as a result of trust. My feeling is that if you have found a service provider who can understand and respect your needs, then you are a lucky man. It says a lot about Novarella, that we are discussing her on these terms. I would also recommend Erin, who I met a few years ago and was my first "real" massage. She was so friendly and welcoming....an excellent experience. As far as Vivian is concerned, well she has to be seen to be believed. There is an excellent reason she is called breath-taking. I have not met Taylor yet, but I will and look forward to it. :-) My advice is that you meet all three.

I enjoyed a visit with Melodie this week and she works with Lesley, which explains the similarity in the ads. Melodie is very beautiful, speaks mostly French, was really sensuous. Really great experience. They are only here for the weekend, from Montreal, and would certainly repeat if she ever comes back.

Aranda is a wonderful massage therapist and went to see her again today. Her home is spotless, from the entrance, massage room, washroom, shower, towels and table. Everything smells clean. She uses a beautiful blend of spice and coconut in her oil. Perhaps it is not for everyone, but it is subtle and appreciated. Aranda is quiet and sometimes after a hard week, that is just what I need. She focusses on the muscles, her rhythm, and you. If you want to talk for the hour, then Aranda is not for you. I meditate. Aranda has an intuitive touch which is caring and thorough. It switches to soft and sensual...although not talkative, her technique speak volumes. Enough said.

Aranda is the best.....she won't talk your ear off, she has a warm clean setting, she has a sensual side and she charges a reasonable fee. I think she is awsome.

I have visited Nini, Kim and Aranda. Nini and Aranda are both in Barrhaven, while Kim is in Lincoln Fields. Overall experience is very subjective, but I would say that Aranda provides the best massage, with Kim a close second and certainly much more entertaining. Nini is a lot of fun, and the youngest of the three . In terms of value ( price/ quality) , Aranda is the best, yet she is quiet and reserved. Kim is fun, well spoken and adventurous. Nini is probably the more expensive, but the most fun. Ask yourself what are you in the mood for.

This may date me, but many years ago I was usually given the choice of oil or powder (baby powder). Powder was very common years ago, but I haven't seen it lately :-). Oddly, I have had two massages without oil at all (or powder) recently and they were not memorable. My favourite massage was with a custom blended oil which was so subtle and light that just the aroma was a turn on for me. The therapist explained the ingredients which which she bought separately and blended. I never shower afterwards since it would remove the exotic smell which reminds me of an wonderful experience. For me the power of smell is very much part of a wonderful massage. My two cents:-)

My experience with Vivian was exceptional. The features I remember the most were her beautiful soft skin, amazing body and soft touch. Vivian provides an excellent massage, more sensual than therapeutic.
