  1. ..and what about rexscott? That's the wording he used. Did you want me to use another term?
  2. I don't ignore people trying to get under my skin. I answer my critics. If you like our entertainment in 2014 and think it's great, more power to you. I don't. Comments are removed but now people hate my guts here.
  3. As Brian Wilson and Tony Asher wrote back in 1966: "I guess I just wasn't meant for these times." I'm not on the Internet to make friends or kiss butt. I'm on the Internet to discuss topics.
  4. What is your problem. man? You think the current system in the clubs in 2014 is perfect? I don't. Just like every other message board I visit, somebody is trying to get under my skin in order to relieve their boredom. I should just accept what we have and live with it? Why?
  5. For the record, I am not a fan of breast implants. Of course, many of the legends of the past had them and I tolerated it.
  6. I understand what you are all saying. I'm just not into all the piercings and tattoos. I do wonder who makes the most money on a Friday night when the place closes. I have been. Just seems like every avenue of entertainment was better.
  7. At this rate, that wrestling match next month in Smith Falls featuring the Honkytonk Man will be one special referee short as well. Trouble is this guy's middle name.
  8. If I ever owned a Gentleman's Club, they would have to wear street clothes on the floor. Could you imagine how hot it would be in the CR if you could undress a fully-clothed woman during your dances? It would be like Christmas everyday.
  9. Were the women wearing dresses on the floor, ottlad?
  10. It's March 1. Hopefully somebody will confirm that all the dancers are wearing dresses when they roam the bar tonight.
  11. I have not stepped foot in the Fax since October 1999 and yet the place hasn't changed one bit judging from the video footage. It's still 1997 in there.
  12. Everybody remembers Natina here. We all have memories of the glory days of Pigales from 1998-2006 when Natina and her friends made the place one to visit weekly (even daily) back then. Natina was awesome but I seem to miss Roxy Del Foxxx a tiny bit more.
  13. Leah at Barb's and Alexandra and Natina at Pigale's wore nice gowns most of the time I saw them. Like you said, it made them stand out. I also hope that there will be variety in the dresses. I don't want to see everyone dress in the same gown. I would love to see summer dresses, kimonos, jackets and mini-skirts and colorful one piece dresses. This can only help these women stand out and help business. Doubt it will help them be warmer lol but we only have a few more weeks of winter after March 1. Hopefully somebody will confirm this and if it's true, I will visit the club on March 6 or 7.
  14. If this is true then I applaud the news. I know I'm probably going to be in the minority but seeing 20 girls in a skimpy bra and thong/G-string walking around is silly. They need more variety in their "roaming" outfits. They should wear more clothes on stage as well; they are practically naked already right from the start. This would give the club some of that old 1988-1993 vibe. A vibe I miss. I hope this is true and I'd have a reason to visit again.
  15. Back in 2001, I got busted for not having registration. I stopped parking on Pigale's lot for a few years. Guess they are still at it. Local cavalry stops Ontario cars only, it seems. BtW, has anyone seen Lola working? I gave her my cell number and asked her to text me whenever she was in Gatineau. Never did. She has a thread here; she a little chunkier now. Has a Playboy necklace and tattoo on the bikini area. I want to see her again before Christmas...or Annabella or the Miley Cyrus look-a-like in her place.
  16. Yes, smartphone use by the dancers is an issue but let's remember that they have made contacting our favorite dancers easier. No longer do we need to call the club to ask if a favorite is working. It's puzzling that some ladies refuse to contact their customers this way. I guess some of them might have overbearing and controlling boyfriends or something. I gave one lady my cell number to text me when she was working there the next time and she hasn't texted me once since. She knows I like seeing her; maybe it isn't mutual. :icon_sad:
  17. I sometimes suffer from gout in the knees and feet and when I did go to Barb's while suffering from it I would park next to the club and pay the $8. You never take chances on Friday and Saturday night. Otherwise, I would park on Sparks Street as there always seemed to be parking available.
  18. I haven't eaten a meal at a gentleman's club since 1994; maybe even earlier. I remember going to Fanny's and eating their lunch food. It wasn't bad, I guess.
  19. The bathroom attendant at Pigale has been there for a couple of years. That guy is cool, though. I don't mind tipping him. Honestly though, I don't see the need for one.
  20. Certainly had one of the more bizarre nights at this club; ranking right up there with Y2K Night on December 10, 1999. Yesterday afternoon, I call the club asking if a certain girl is working but the dude refuses to answer, claiming they are "swamped". That evening, I go to Casino Lac Leamy and I win $80. I decide to drive to Pigale and ask the coat lady if she would know the schedule. It wouldn't hurt. I get out of the car and I notice a gaggle of ladies near the entrance for the dancers and I decided to ask them if they knew if she was working. One of them claims she's the woman in question (who I haven't seen in weeks) and we start conversating and I'm convinced it's her as she uncannily matches her mannerisms. We hug, she playfully kisses me and I talk with her friends and tell her that she doesn't look like Kim Kardashian but like Nicole Scherzinger (something from the last meeting). She is aware of where I usually sit and tells me to wait there as she gets ready. So I go in and hang out near the video slot machines after washing my hands. Then, the real deal recognizes me and comes over to see me and we go downstairs and for the next 20 minutes I'm trying to explain myself to her LOL. Just bizarre. It's hard for me to recognize someone if I don't have a full mental picture of her. Oh yeah, halfway through the CR dances, some woman looking EXACTLY like Miley Cyrus peaks in, complete with the same outfit and tongue sticking that went on at the MTV Awards and all I can say is "Hey, it's Miley Cyrus." to her. You got to love a place where people will impersonate others to get business. I don't know when my next visit will be. Probably 2014. Finished it off with a visit to El Camino.
  21. You're being too nice lol. Sadly, the CR at Barb's will always be the worst in the city. Zero privacy, bouncers every couple of minutes and who knows what else. It's like the ones in Grand Theft Auto V. At least you can scope out other ladies and get an idea of how they perform in the CR.
  22. No, Fanny's and the original Barb's were separate places. I don't know when Fanny's or Barbarella's opened. Fanny's existed in the mid-1980's as I frequented the arcades of Bank Street every Saturday, such as Imperial Arcade and saw the signage Barb's probably opened in 1989 or 1990 but only existed for a year or so as I'm guessing the city didn't like such an exquisite looking club "dirtying the minds of kids". In late 1990, the Barb's people opened a 2nd club called Sirens next door to it. It only lasted a month until the city shut it down as well. So, at one point there were 3 clubs on one block plus Barrymore's, a pool hall and the Imperial Arcade. The big winner was Fanny's, who took in all the business and thrived for a good 5 years. I went to Fanny's from 1991-95. Additional Comments: I lived in that area when I was a kid (1971-1989) and it wasn't a gentleman's club. No way would they have a place like that near an elementary school and a church and a monastery nearby next to a public school.
  23. LOL Same here! Actually, it was the first place in Ottawa I visited. Lido in Hull was the first club overall. The women at Cheeks were all-natural at least. Decent local club. The next club I went to check out was the original Barb's and was floored. A stage that looks like a runway? Dozens of perfect women? Music videos playing behind the performances? Not one seat to be found? It was perfection. I doubt Montreal had anything to match it. It was the days when men would go to the clubs to be teased. Too bad the city had a problem with Barbarella's on Bank Street. Only problem with Barb's was that Pierre guy. He hated college kids. He would torment me with his "rules" every visit.
