Does anything know what might have become of Natasja? She seems to have been mia the last little while and now her Twitter appears to be closed...anyone have any info? Loved her MV material - and found her to be delightful!

Before deleting her Twitter account Natasja announced her retirement from the industry, and that she will continue her work with Power Ottawa.

  2. Remember when people stayed home more, spent more time with their families, went for walks after dinner, Sunday drives, when we lead a more simple life?

    Oh! That was yesterday.

Require a deposit from potential clients and don't consider that you have a booking until a deposit is received.

JMO Legitimate clients have no problem with a deposit, some of those clients who intend to be NCNS are the ones who don't like them. Again JMO

    Good Luck

IMO it was an incorrect general opinion.

  4. Her: "Thank you for treating me like I'm not just a pussy."

Me: Waves of thoughts cross my mind about how providers must feel most of the time, how most clients might inadvertently make them feel like they are purely sexual objects, and how it all must wear on providers.

To all the great providers, thank you for all you do for us!

    🤨

Why can't I buy this story? Because why would an SP, who charges for it, want to give it for free for simply a dinner and because she might be lonely? I call BS ...

I've had something similar happen. An SP was visiting Ottawa for a few days and we had communicated a couple times before she left. Once she arrived we spoke a couple times to confirm our appointment, which was later in the evening on the first day she arrived. When I messaged her from the Hotel lobby she offered to come down and have a drink with me and after our time was up she asked if I wanted to take a walk with her so she could see a little of the city and to pick up a few things from the nearest corner store. Long story short, from the time I first messaged her to the time I returned to my vehicle nearly four hours had past.

A few months later, when she visited a second time, it was something similar where she wanted to go for a long walk and we spent over three hours together. Why? I don't know. Maybe she felt safe around me and I was being kind to her. We were close to the same age and maybe she just wanted a tour guide to walk around with. Either way, she made it seem like I was doing her a favor but I was more than happy to walk around and talk with her. We got along really well. I'm sure I'm not the first nor the last to have experiences like these.

There's no wave of change here. This board has always been a positive environment, there have always been other boards where you can trash providers if you like, and people have always complained about not being able to do it here.

Of course, if you're looking at negative reviews, you'll need to figure out the difference between the ones where someone genuinely had a bad experience through no fault of his own, and the ones where someone had a bad experience because he deserved to (e.g. by pushing a provider's boundaries), and the ones where someone's pissed off because he wanted services that the provider doesn't provide/didn't get a discount, and the ones where someone else in the business is trying to destroy a rival's business. Exactly how to tell the difference between all of those is left as an exercise for the reader.

I'm not sure why you're assuming I'm looking to or like to trash providers. I just like being honest, honesty is what this board is missing, and I don't go looking for bad reviews I go looking for the full picture, not half of one. IMO, there's as much deciphering in positive reviews as there are in negative ones. My point is if you have to PM, "I wouldn't see her.", it's hiding being honest! PMing honesty is hiding the truth!

It's admirable that most of you don't want change, the more power to you, but how many threads and topics of late are in regards to what can be done to gain more members, participation and more recommendations? When the time comes to pass the torch, as they say, will there be anyone here to carry it? The answer here may ultimately depend on how much you all really care about this board, not yourselves.

Where can I post a review that recommends not to see a certain SP? I've recently had a disappointing experience, and wanted to make sure no one else will (with her, at least; I can't ensure you'll never have a bad experience with any other SP). The Recommendations thread seems to not allow "negative" reviews, otherwise I would have posted there.

Everything stated by members here is true. If you encountered a Bait&Switch, Dangerous Encounter or Scammed in any way, including time as time is what we pay for, feel free to post about your encounter in the Warning Section. Mods will first review your post before allowing it, not only since you are a newer member but because of the nature of the post.

Please send me a PM of your encounter. This board may never change so I'll leave with this, "If you aren't riding the wave of change you're slowly drowning beneath it."

  8. The sex industry won't legalize or be decriminalized on its own or with very little noise.

I've stated this before. Only when we all start to fight for change like the cannabis industry did will they even consider changing our current legislation. The real problem isn't that we want change it's that we, as a whole, don't want to take any steps to get there but I understand the taboo associated and for most clients it needs to be kept secretive. We are good at discussing the idea of change, though.

  9. It's not the first time this topic comes up. On previous threads pertaining to this topic where suggestions were made some longtime members posted if things change they would leave this board. I'm fine with this board being only recommendations but when someone posts inquiring about a provider who is not a member of this board and you can't be honest when replying there is something wrong, IMO. The first time I received an infraction, the second time banned for 7 days and was warned the next time I face being permanently banned. For what? For being honest and helping a fellow member? Honesty here is not the best policy. End result, I don't share my experiences with members when they inquire about providers.

Like all businesses, if you don't evolve you fall behind and slowly fade away but most members here don't want any serious change. So be it and now some are wondering what can be done to get more traffic. IMO, controlling how many pages guests can view is not a viable solution to gain more members. The real issues run deeper, but what do I know. I'm just a noob here.

  10. I'm no longer religious but I am spiritual, it's all about karma. I choose to believe in it.

True, dealerships make money off everything, as they should. Just before Christmas last year I had extra brake work done on the rear of my car and was billed even though I didn't ask for it. It took a few minutes to wait for the manager to deal with the situation but in the end he agreed I only pay what I asked for. 650, or so, was reduced to 340 in about twenty minutes.

  11. Cleaning up a cell phone before entering the US is not a difficult task. Hate to say it but, for those who travel to the US, use a burner phone and don't use your personal phone to search 'questionable sited'. Even if you have an industry Twitter, only use it on a burner phone or one you won't travel to the US with.

If you don't have a burner, text apps can be uninstalled and reinstalled once you return. Cleaning up a personal phone is not difficult either though but be thorough when doing this. The greater difficulty comes when crossing into the US with a laptop as they are a little more difficult to clean up as they hold and leave traces of much info than a cellphone, for the most part.

IMHO, much of this will change back to what we are used to as normal after the next US Federal elections when The Iron Curtain part 2 will fall!

  12. It's not complicated, pretty simple actually. This industry is just like everything else between any two people should be in the realm of life, 'Mutual'.

It really doesn't matter what mutual agreements are made, completely mutual (uncoerced in any manner), two adults are free to do as they wish with their time. When situations arise where feelings are formed by one person, either party, is when unpleasant issues can occur. Including Sugar Dating, I've experienced both sides of such a scenario and not one position is any easier than the other. Be real with yourself, be civilized, respect yourself as well as the other person involved at all times and in such a situation two caring humans can work out any differences in an amicable manner. Even if for one it leads to disappointment it still doesn't leave the other with a pleasant feeling.

Also, is it possible to just buy a pay as you go phone from Loblaws or Best Buy without signing up with them and instead insert a burner SIM card from another provider like 7/11 or Petro Can?

Any phone from anywhere and any SIM card from anywhere can be used, but even for pay-as-you-go the phone itself still needs to be activated. With 'Chatr' this can be done online and without ID.
