This news may be old to some, for me it is new today.

I've been getting random headaches for years, what I thought were random, but never understood as to why. I no longer drink to the point of being drunk and I have a healthy diet. Over the last couple of years I noticed on a few occasions that these headaches occurred when the barometric pressure would drop drastically as would the temperature, say more than ten degrees.

I had one such headache today and noticed the barometric pressure and temperature had dropped compared to what Ottawa had on this past beautiful weekend so I started searching online. Sure enough I came across a term called Barometric Pressure Headaches, also sometimes referred to as Weather Headaches. I had never heard of this previously but I knew I wasn't crazy or just making things up.

There are five commonly used methods to try and prevent these headaches. I'm going to try a few to see what may work for me as they differ from person to person and unfortunately may not work for some people at all.

-Taking an anti-inflammatory

-Using a humidifier or ionizer

-Natural relaxation may help

-Staying hydrated

-Investing in gadgets

Also, there are apps one can download to be notified of barometric pressure drops since these pressures drop before the temperature does so one can take an anti-inflammatory as soon as possible.

I will try these different methods but even if non of these work I feel an overwhelming sense of relief knowing I wasn't imagining all this, I'm not alone and there is potential help available.

Posting this hoping I can perhaps help others out there who suffer from headaches and didn't understand why and what they could do to attempt to prevent these pains.

Received a couple PMs from a male member today about not being happy I pampered her and not get "treated". This was in no way an attempt to make anyone else, clients, look or feel like any less of a client than I am. I didn't feel like I had to , I wanted to do this to show appreciation and strengthen our client provider connection. I feel no need to apologize.

My unknowing thought is with vaping you are still putting particles in your lungs. Cigarettes were around long before research began on how unhealthy they are. I wonder how long it will take before we find out if there are consequences to vaping.

I'm in the east end. I do prefer closer distance to travel but if I really want to see someone I will travel anywhere, even Aylmer which from the east takes a fair amount of time.

I would think that the closest to the highway as possible would be best. When travelling a distance to see a provider I don't mind where it is but I really prefer if it's close to the highway. Easier to get to and return from.

We are all well aware over the last few weeks things have changed in regard to sites being used. It does appear LeoList has won out.

Perhaps I should begin this next subject with pardon my ignorance since I'm not sure as to the 'why'. LeoList has an option for ads and pics to be verified but why are so few using this option? PackPages did not have such an option. Even the vast majority of the well known Providers from Lyla aren't using the verified option on LeoList. Here on Lyla alone we see threads on the subject of fake ads on LeoList from all across this country. First, he never stated he wanted to be the one to be funded or to do the TOFTT himself. Second, I would have never thought TOFTT would be offensive. This is an old acronym, the first I hear of it being taken as offensive, and no one mentioned a sport. Offices have teams who perform certain tasks or are responsible for certain activities. I fail to see this as a victory. Similar to how laws only pushed the industry underground, making it more dangerous for both sides of the industry, so to does the removal of Backpage. Canadian LE have long been saying that Backpage made it simpler to keep tabs on the industry, ie human trafficking and those underage. IMO, the removal of Backpage will only drive said issues more underground, making it more difficult to keep taps on. Besides the issues we had with Backpage, this is the true loss of Backpage being removed.

A few days ago there was a press conference at the White House of lady who was once trafficked thanking the US Government for removing Backpage. Indeed, her story is sad. IMO, what I find more sad is trafficking now being driven further underground and how worse it will become for those who will be trafficked in the future, underage or not. Only decriminalizing the industry will lessen human trafficking and those underage.
