I think they are overrated and most who have one complain clients don't read them and ask questions to which the answers can be found on their website. I view them to find more pics and rates.

Your request for info is vague, you could try to be more specific as to what type of session you are looking for and what type of provider you prefer.

Late last night I returned from spending Christmas with my parents. I'm the baby of the family, my brother and youngest sister were there but my oldest sister, she's 45, who lives in Halifax with her two kids could not make it this year.

 

After morning breakfast on Christmas day my mother shared with us that my oldest sister is scheduled for two MRIs in early January. Her Doctors are 99 percent sure she has MS and they want to run tests to confirm this. I love her very much and wish her the very best of possibilities. I'm thinking a lot of her and her two kids, her son is 10 and her daughter is 7. Next year for Christmas my father and I have agreed that we will be flying her and her children to Ottawa so I can pick them up to drive them to my parents so they can spend the Holiday Season with all of us. I'm already looking forward to that.

It really is a great new year. I heard back from my sister today, she does not have MS. What a relief!!!

She does have some nerve issues and is to see a neurologist but for the most part she is fine. I'm so happy for her! What a beautiful day in so many ways. I just want to dance.

Interesting comments about demise of BP ; as many of you know the US has largely removed type of ads we have in Canada. The same thing could well happen here since so many of the ads are fake! Pictures are being stolen from models on Instagram or otter social media.

BP doesn't care if the ads are fake, they're making money. It's all about the bottom line.

Most provincial LE across Canada have stated they have no plans on attempting to have any changes made on how BP operates in Canada as far as Industry ads. They find it easier to keep tabs on Providers in the Industry and suggest if things changed it would only make their tasks more difficult for this.

Any given day I'm more likely to be wearing thigh high socks than underwear.

I agree with Manluvsex's point #2 about possible infections. Nearly nine years ago now I had a terrible ski accident where I broke four ribs, punctured my left lung in two places which caused it to deflate.

I was sent by ambulance to the Ottawa General and had a chest tube inserted which was later hooked up to a suction machine. During my first week there, on the lung cancer floor, I had daily X-Rays in my room. My Doctor came to see me two days before I was scheduled to be released to inform me of a chest infection which appeared in my most recent X-ray. He informed me that I now required surgery, which he had already booked me for, in three days. This wasn't an option for me. It was difficult to accept, looking for something/someone to blame. Luckily I had family and more importantly an amazing GF who was there to lift my spirits and help me accept what needed to be done.

Three days later I had this surgery where they opened me up 12" long and removed a 4" section of a rib to clean out this now nasty infection. I was recovering well but within a week into recovery my Doctor again came to see me to inform me the surgery was not a success and he recommended I have this surgery again or have these now two new chest tubes remain for an undetermined amount of time to allow the infection to drain. I was devastated, this was a very difficult time for me. I became a little depressed and my family and GF noticed, they did their very best to help me but it was no use. I refused to have another surgery and opted to keep these tubes instead.

A couple days later I was able to make my way to the X-ray machine on another floor by means of a wheelchair. A caregiver saw me and asked me to come with her for a minute. She was familiar with my case and had noticed my sad state of spirits. This is what she said, "I see you're sad, don't be. You see the other people sitting around you in there waiting their turn? Most of those people will likely die here but you, you'll recover. You'll be fine one day soon and walk out of this hospital and carry on with your life. You should be happy, cheer up young man." Those true words hit my like a ton of bricks. I knew she was right and it changed my perspective about how I should be feeling. I will never forget that this person, a stranger to me, took her time to care about how I was feeling, how I looked. That one minute helped me more than what anyone else had said to me to try and lift my spirits, the reality of it all that she expressed worked.

After three and a half weeks of being in the hospital I was released. These tubes remained for another four and a half months. I am glad to say I am fine now, have fully recovered and lead a normal and healthy life and I try to never look back.

Mikeyboy, I can somewhat relate to what you may be going through. As difficult as it may be at the moment, in a few short months you will look back on this and be able to smile about it all. You will have family and friends around to share your experience with, to help you every step of the way. It's in these moments that we often reprioritize our lives, when you decipher what is truly important in life and thank God for family and friends, there is nothing more important!

I realize MAs who don't offer more than a HE may also agree with the points made by the OP and in the subsequent post. Other than that, I only see SPs posting on this thread having an issue with who offers what services. I will use this term in the most respectful manner possible, sincerely. Why does it appear that only SPs are seemingly the ones feeling entitled to offering what they feel are SP only services yet at the same time feel they can offer massage and strip tease? Even SPs do/offer/render HEs yet opinions are being made that this is all MAs should offer. I don't agree and I've only had two MA visits. Like Phaedrus stated; if this makes me a "bad person", a part of or the problem itself in thinking this way, so be it. :) We are all entitled to our opinions.

My personal belief on all of this is that between fully consenting legal adults, regardless of gender and number of participants (in or outside of the industry), will never be free of opinions but should be free of public judgement. In the end, as previously stated by GoinDown, who are any of us, all being in this industry, to publicly judge anyone.

I'm a member who for the most part prefers SPs. I'm not really into seeing MAs, I've only been twice, and I'm not one who frequents SCs much at all so I'm just going to throw this out there. I'll refrain from using any names but if one chooses to feel free to view the thread from which this thread stems from.

We had at least three very highly respected Providers post on this previous thread who stated they offer different types of services. One is an independent SP who posted she also offers massage sessions. Another is an independent MA who on her ads and website offers Strip Tease during her sessions and another who is an Independent MA who also offers SP sessions. In addition to these three most of us who are members here in Ottawa are well aware of yet another highly respected Provider who is a member here that advertises in both the SP and MA sections here on Lyla.

Some of the opinions expressed in the OP and in part 2 of the subsequent post are suggesting if a client wants SP services (whatever comprises such) to only see an SP. If a client wants a massage to go to a MP and if one wants erotic dancing go to a Strip Club. I'm curious if any of these providers who posted on the previous thread feel at all targeted or agree with the OP's comments of being a part of or the problem itself?

I guess another comment I don't quite agree with or fail to understand is the rational thinking behind the message stating MP owners/operators should fight for legal right or obtain a permit for providing anything more than a manual release. I may be unknowing so does such a permit exist? Do any SPs possess any type of permit for services they offer and render? Lastly, is the OP suggesting if a Provider offers massage sessions they should only offer this type of session at MPs, so no independent MAs or SPs shouldn't offer massage and SPs and MAs shouldn't offer Strip Tease?

There are names/titles currently being used among clients in this industry which are rarely being used by MAs. A so called line is no longer drawn between SPs and MAs, this is now a thing of the past. This old line is now drawn somewhere in the middle of Hybrid MAs.

There are SPs, Hybrid MAs and MAs. Generally, the wider variety of services offered to the least are in this same order. Although there are a few Hybrid MAs who offer a handful of more options than any SP I have ever met. Times have changed. Just as always, between every provider and client boundaries need to be clearly stated/defined and respected.

My issue is not about who offers what in terms of services, obviously. I have been clear about that. My issue is the lack of explicit consent with your professional. You can stretch this as much as you want with mental gymnastic, the facts remains that's not ok to put your mouth on someone's genitals WITHOUT first obtaining their consent, REGARDLESS of their profession. Strippers, MAs or Escorts.

I understand the comparison between SP and MA. Some MAs advertise full service right in their ads and some offer everything but FS in their ads yet still offer it behind closed doors without it being suggested by a client. This thread seems more complex than it actually is, perhaps a few SPs are just not content with the fact they feel some or all of "their services" are now also being offered by MAs. True that some MAs wish to only offer what was once the norm but this has changed for a vast majority and why for any type of Provider parameters need to be clearly stated/defined and respected for a pleasant experience to be had by both parties involved. Like it or not this is simply evolution in the MPA world, nothing more. So a Punter posting a thread asking for any MAs who offer facesitting is no longer a "way out in left field" subject.

Comparing a SC Dancer to an MA, now we're getting a little far fetched IMO. That being said, some (quite a few) would be surprised what is offered by Dancers and why there too parameters need to be clearly defined for both to be respected and enjoyed.

Entitlement: Why are a few SPs telling clients what they should and shouldn't expect from a MA and now tossing around non comparable scenarios with a Dancer? It would appear to me the only ones judging anyone on this thread are SPs judging clients and attempting to represent and/or speak on behalf of MAs. MAs have a voice of their own. They are just as informed, intelligent and well spoken as anyone else.
