I took a look at Escorts Canada, Ottawa section and I saw so many new ads:cool: (at least ten new ladies joined the Ottawa section alone since last week lol). I was very pleased to see that as I believe that It is great news for all of us:D. This likely means more ladies for us to choose from and unlike CL, there is no bait and switch among them as pictures are verified. Therefore we can call with more confidence and feel safer to make that call. We even have the option of sending emails and that is great for me as I like to explain my unique requirements in details to the ladies before making the call. Not to mention there will be inevitably more funding for cerb which means an even better board, faster server, more options available, more members and more ladies to choose from. I tried to toftt Pink today by email (in which I let her know about cerb) and phone call (I used to see her ads on CL for months by an agency but I decided to call her only now because she is on EC and she appears to be independent now) but no response in either case. I have guests over, weekends only. By all means hunkoflove please go ahead and toftt. If you toftt before next weekend, please let us know. Look forward to see more ladies joining EC. PS I am not sure she is that short(if that is what you are looking for). Though it says 5' on EC on all other ads she was/is 5 5. May be a misprint or may be she is really 5, not sure. The ads are moderated and they do remove the obvious fakes but the bad ones do slip in and we depend on you all using the report prolem button on the ads if something bad happens. even verified photos is not 100% we have issues in Winnipeg with ladies verifying photos and still sending substitutes when they are not available. sites like cerb and ck.'s diary are very important still.... and you are safer using ec then most other sites as they do remove the bad apples and the ads are moderated (and all problem reports are investigated) but nothing is ever a sure thing and ec has no control over the quality of the services being provided, they do not remove ads cause someone did not have a good time... as long as some service and/or time was provided and not a cash and dash robbery scam or bait and switch they allow the advertiser to continue... the golden rule is ymmv ( and buyer beware ). ec is now also allowing free two week trials (so this does bring the cheats and sammers) but it also brings lots of quality ads too. we have to take the good and the bad. also for the first time in over 10 years ec is allowing ads to run with no photos as they are trying out some new marketing ideas to bring the orphaned (but quality) cl advertisers to ec and introduce them to paid advertising with the free trial. so many of you supported cl over the years ... searching out the good advertisers in the mess of bad ones. while cl took the market share of escort traffic from all of the directories including ec, this changed the industry and now with cl gone it's a race for all of us to regain our lost market shares back. so ec is changing to adapt but still doing it's best to keep the scams off the site. Sometimes in the past a number of the Escorts Canada ads seemed outdated although most contained photos and other information which was helpful. the ladies have full control over the ads. most of them log in and update the ads regularly.... ec however keeps the phones busy and really if the ad is working for them why change it. they should update photos at least once a year but more then that is not necessary. keep in mind that you guys (the forum members) are only a small portion on the traffic. most of the guys who call/book the ladies do not participate on sites like this. we estimate that only 10% to 20% of traffic to the ladies ads on ec are hobbyists and use the forums. many are first timers and are seeing the ads you regularly view for the first time. Because ec stopped offering free trial ads for the last 6 years the new ads were only from serious paying advertisers but now it's time to change and allow free trial ads again as the traffic to ec is at least 5 times higher now that cl is gone... so they now have way too much traffic and not enough ads! something they have not faced in many years do to cl taking so much of he traffic (market share). it's a balancing act. too many advertisers and little traffic means no paid advertisers as the ladies are not busy enough to justify paying or the ads... too much traffic and not enough ads is also bad as the ladies get too busy and start pulling ads cause the volume of calls and inquiries is too high (yes, they remove the ads for weeks at times cause they get overbooked and overwhelmed) ec has a balance ratio they try very hard to maintain but right now they have way too much traffic and not enough ads running for all the traffic so the free trials have started again finally as this sudden increase tipped the scales. I've found that "1 month on - 1 month off" was about all I could handle. I think it was because for the longest time, I was the only massage provider advertising on EC in all of Ottawa. Now that there are more massage providers advertising, it might be worth keeping my ad going all through. I checked EC site (Ottawa section) and I think over 80% of photos have the verified icon (those ads with photos). Yes, it is always possible for one or two to slip through but we all agree that it is significantly less risky (for bait and switch but services are always ymmv regardless where the ad is) to respond to an ad on EC, compare to CL. mod 135639 Report post Posted January 3, 2011 http://www.localescorts.ca is a excellent site for b.c. advertisers. mark (the original owner of e site) was well known in vancouver and did a really good job promoting it in b.c. our company purchased I off mark a number of years ago and have kept promoting it in bc. it does however get traffic from all of Canada, not like ec does but they have free 30 day trials and cheaper ad rates then ec so it may be a ood choice for those who do not want the same large amount of traffic. I no longer go through the things I went through on CL with guys that can be very disrespectful. It's so refreshing and I do not miss CL at all anymore. Although, I do have several regular clients from CL that were awesome and have stayed in touch. It's all about screening, screening and more screening, no matter what site you are on to eliminate the unnecessary ones....: ) I will be signing up after my free trial is over as I don't mind paying for a site that brings in business and decent Gentleman. I started a thread on Terb in regards to CL being gone and quite a few commented on missing it. Why.. To book with a financially strapped non pro for a few bucks, and a bowl of Kraft Dinner...... Wow, I've been around for awhile, but the disrespect and disregard for the ladies that are in a bad situation continues to disgust me. There's a lot of predators out there so good riddance CL!!!!!
