I have been in a relationship with a lady for the last 5 years. During many of those years I have had no physical attention from her. At best it would be a bit for a week and then nothing for months. I found myself seeking the attention I was not getting at home elsewhere. I have been totally miserable. I stayed in that relationship in order to bring some stability to my daughters life and because I do care for this lady and had hoped things would work out. And I tried very hard to make things work, however I finally reached the point where enough was enough and I asked her to leave. She is leaving end of this month and then I can be free to have fun and enjoy life.

 

Having her go has cost me well over $100,000 so far, but omg in the end its worth it. I am planing a vacation to Jamaica this November and another one to Cuba in the spring.

 

At 59 I still have lots in the tank and am able to enjoy life. I just could not be miserable any longer. And could not continue to lead a life of lies.

I am glad you've been able to find your way out of misery. So many people will stay in unhealthy relationships for the bad reasons.

 

You made a good choice with Jamaica, you will come back all relax. Enjoy your trips :)

But your post reminds me of a very old bit of wisdom, that I'm sure a lot of folks here will appreciate: paying for sex is cheaper than not paying for it :)
