Guest Report post Posted June 18, 2021 With so many bragging about it on message boards, a crackdown was unavoidable. When aware your getting more than a massage and claiming it to your insurance, the least you can do is shut up. RMT's guilty of this will likely lose their accreditations on top of possible fraud charges. Clients who made insurance claims will either face charges, be sued or presented the option of paying back the insurer on top of having their policy cancelled. Making it nearly impossible to find other supplemental health coverage. Hopefully this will make some think twice before doing something like this. Andee 220524 Report post Posted August 5, 2021 Anyone who tries to submit receipts for rub and tug services for RMT services under their insurance is asking to get caught. Shame on those who try. Guest Report post Posted August 8, 2021 The receipts are only half the problem. The other being the constant sexual harassments received by massage therapists. Even when they got detailed webpages with proof of professional certification, there still plenty of inquiry threads asking about extras. Or worst by acting inappropriately during a session because someone posted misleading information. No matter if dealing with a registered therapist or not, the subject of extra services should only be raised by her.
