Remember, unless YOU are an SP, it's not your concern..... 🙂 What would a hotel with or without an elevator make any difference to the situation?... If YOU are renting a room for the night to invite an SP over, then text them and meet them downstairs if you think there would be an issue, otherwise they just walk to the stairs, or elevator or room # like normal, all problems solved. If they are hosting, and have their own room, you simply go straight to the elevator and/or their room # and you'll be fine. Either way, it's never your problem.

The elevators in some hotelsl require a key to get off an on the elevator and lots of cameras..I was referring to that but 100% agree with Robert..

I recently experienced an issue with entering a hotel after midnight without a room key. You had to use the intercom and provide the nature of your business. I didn’t think “visiting an escort in room 1411” would gain me entrance lol. Easy if you are delivering food, not so if you are not. I eventually convinced the SP to come down to the front entrance to discretely let me in.

Yeah, "just visiting my friends that are in from out of town"

Then they will ask for the name(s) and room number and the name you know won’t match what’s on file. Best to just never talk to staff at all.

It wasn’t that simple. They asked for a name and a room number. I doubt the SP’s name was on the room registration. Lol. Next time I will say that I am visiting an escort and ask if they have a problem with that.

I'd advise against that as well because they might ban you from the hotel and also if they know they have an active escort they may be more vigilant and try to find her and kick her out. Better to just bring a paper bag from the grocery store and pretend you have food to deliver.
