Johnb84 0 Report post Posted yesterday at 02:42 AM Hello everyone, I recently moved to Halifax from the USA, and I’m hoping to get some advice from the experienced members here. Back in the States, I was used to having a lot of options—plenty of sites and verified reviews to help me make an informed decision. I just need to work on choosing a right pick. However, since arriving in Halifax, the scene feels very different. The only site I’ve really come across is Leolist, and I’m finding it difficult to weigh the genuineness of the providers there. I’d really appreciate it if some of the senior members could point me in the right direction—whether it’s tips on how to navigate Leolist safely, indicators of genuine providers, or any other trusted avenues I might be missing. I’m happy to return the favour by contributing honest reviews and details once I’m settled, to help keep the community informed and support others in the same position. Thanks in advance for any guidance—it means a lot to a newcomer trying to navigate safely.
OldandNerdy 1334 Report post Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM Look at the recommendations forum that is usually a good guide Tryst.link seems to have a much higher percentage of legit providers, but pay attention to the schedules
clintbarton96 1031 Report post Posted yesterday at 08:06 PM I'm not a senior member but I've picked up some knowledge along the way. I think there are probably very few providers in Nova Scotia that are face out. Good general rule for Leolist is if they show their face but don't have a website or Twitter or any social media it's probably a fake ad. There are exceptions to this. Google phone numbers. Also check the bottom of their Leo ad, it will show if they have multiple ads posted. This is not a red flag in itself because they may be posting in Newfoundland and NB to promote an upcoming tour-check the dates. The red flag is if they are posting they are available in Montreal, Toronto and Calgary all the same day! Trystlink ads in my opinion are where you will find legit providers. They pay hundreds a month to advertise there. If you do your research you should be fine! Contact them in the way they ask for- using a text app is the quickest way to get ignored and blocked. It goes without saying, be respectful and introduce yourself. Get familiar with Canada's laws on s*x work which are different from the US. DM me if you have questions, I may or may not be able to answer. 😎
BenDover 339 Report post Posted 10 hours ago anyone in the Recommended section on here should be a relatively safe bet LL is maybe 5% real local providers , 95% scams Tryst doesn’t seem to have the same scam problem , it has resulted in my personal favourite results in 2025 if you can do the higher rates

Canadian law enforcement basically stays away from the industry unless s*x trafficking is involved. Never in Canada would a public figures name be dragged through the mud for the egregious act of being caught in a massage parlour, such as what happened to New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft. Sex work in Canada is legal. However soliciting someone for sevices is illegal. That's an important distinction to understand as a client. Meaghan McLeod 179764 Report post Posted 3 hours ago Sex work is legal to sell if the provider is 18+, not being exploited, not in public, not near schools or day care. Sex work is illegal to purchase. So, asking for specific acts for $ can get you in trouble. However, unless you are doing car dates, you shouldnt have any issues. Thats why the we use time as a commodity. So someone offering quick times (i.e. 15 minutes), are generally offering an oral service vs a full service (i.e. 1 hour). Welcome to Canada! MikeyInHalifax 494 Report post Posted 1 hour ago You should try to stick to the recommendations and schedules posted in here. These are typically accurate although there have been the odd fake review posted to try and drum up business for a provider with a less than stellar reputation. Usually those are reposted by accounts with 0-Low reputation scores or freshly minted accounts. Leo is a crap shoot. Once in a while you can meet a nice girl, but emphasis is on the "Once in a while" Tryst typically has higher end ladies with high end rates, but are usually very real and reliable. Don't be scared to use the search function on this site. It will save you a lot of time as well as prevent you from annoying some of the other users. Last piece of advice. If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't. If you see an ad with photos of Eva Lovia, or Mia Malkova and think they're actually here selling ass in NS, maybe this hobby isn't for you.
