Redefining Spinner

So here I was cruisin the social group looking to join the Itty Bitty Titty Committee when I see a group, Not a BBW, not quite a spinner..So this catches my eye enough to open it. I glance over it and notice that a lot of the talk from the members are about how they enjoy their curves and such.

Wait just a minute ladies, I just wanted to define a spinner for you.

A spinner is a lady you would take a second glance, one beautiful enough to spin around. I'm not quite sure where and how some have it in their mind that just because they have lovely love handles or beautiful curves that they would not be considered a spinner.

You don't need to be thin or a barbie doll for a man to take notice. Most men will tell you it's all about how a woman carriers herself, confidence and poise so ladies you are a spinner, curves and all..Let's re-define this stereotypical meaning of spinner together.

I am not part of this group but I think that the spinner definition in the escort world is someone that if you remove the legs you could spin her around when she is in cowgirl position because she is so small and tiny

I could be wrong, but I don't think the term 'Spinner' quite means what you're thinking. Although I do prefer your take on things! Anyway, when a man refers to a woman as a 'spinner', I believe it means she's tiny enough to prop up and 'spin' her on his...member. Which is far worse! lol Just thought I'd give you another definition I've heard many times before.

spinner the term for someone thin and small in this industry

The real meaning is totally mine, since I'd like to hear from a man that actually spins girls around. lmao

In that case, shouldn't they be named "featherweights"? I guess in the Massage establishments we define it differently, since you can't spin one of us on your cock cause we don't offer that.

I first heard the term "spinner" way back in 1981 on the San Francisco stripclub boards of the time. The definition given in those days was a petite (usually small-breasted) woman with a sparkling, sociable personality. The allusion was to the flashing, spinning, light-catching fishing lure (a spinner). The reference to physical spinning while on top of a man, I think, was a case of a rather complicated metaphor sinking to the lowest common denominator over the years (rather like what happened to the term GFE over the years)

Additional comments: Sorry Ottanon, but that won't do for a definition: "A spinner by a gents definition is a petite girl can spin around on your member without taking it out. from cowgirl to reverse cowgirl."

Virtually any woman could do that and success would depend more on the size and hardness of the GUY'S member.

Going back in a general way to some of the underlying issues raised raised by the OP.

I think it would be a good idea to delete the term "all mighty" from the name of the spinner social group. I don't know how this would be done for a public group like this; I don't think there is anyone specifically in charge. I am a guy who likes spinners but the actual current title "Paying homage to the all mighty spinner" is rather offensive as it suggests a hierarchy of body types.

I like what you are saying...

I just did some research here on the site and there are plenty of references to ladies that are petite yet not a spinner. So the definition of spinning her is over. So if a spinner is a girl small enough to spin on your cock yet petite girls can't be spinners cause there not quite spinning material, then I'm thinking the "all mighty spinner" may be in fact a small girl, and ..uhh really hot? But.. Since there are countless threads that clearly state that beauty is in the eye of the beholder then.. All this talking about spinning is making me dizzy, all I think is this is getting spun into a web of uncertain direction kinda "spinning out of control".

Now back to Redefining "Spinner",

Spinner Spin-er;

A lady that catches your eye, and then go home and fantasize about spinning her on your cock!

Never have I had someone ask me "Hey, wanna take a spin on my cock"? Just sayin

All I am saying is that almost every gent I know, when referring to a Spinner is referring to my definition or a portion of it. I happen to prefer a curvy Mature Women myself. But a Spinner by a gent on this board at least wants a young, fit girl that is acrobatic :)

I don't see the need to redefine spinner, as it is a term that has be in existence for a very long time.

To your original post "Not a BBW, not quite a spinner.." maybe a new term could be created that most accurately defines this particular group.

I'm really not entirely sure why people have an urge to redefine and reclaim everything.

Spinner is simply a term referring to a very petite or tiny woman. Period. I don't think of it in terms of how many revolutions she would get on my small/average/equine cock. I don't think of it in terms of whether I experience whiplash as she passes. The gist is small, or tiny, and I get the point.

It's not meant to imply that non-spinners are hideous or even mildly unattractive, it's just meant to convey a referential to body type.

If you're not a spinner but turn heads, excellent. That doesn't make you more or less, even though you are not a "spinner". No need to "reclaim" or redefine.

And as for inferring some intended slight from "almighty"... Seriously, people. It's. A. Frikken. Social. Group. Nobody is seriously trying to imply a "hierarchy," they are merely expressing a preference and predilection.

I'm amazed at how much time is spent in these forums being offended by words, talking about words and pissing territorially about words.

If we don't want to talk about someone being a spinner, we could always refer to her as an ectomorph. It has the advantage of being scientifically precise and neutral. It has the disadvantage of being scientifically... sterile, for want of a better way of putting it.

|Not every woman is 5'1" and 100 lbs and no, you don't need to be a spinner to turn heads. Trust me on this one..all you have to do is flash the twins if you are fortunate enough to have those assets. It's also the way a woman carries herself. Prsonally I don't care about the trm spinner because it doesn't apply to me.

I don't think I'd want to be a spinner... being spun around like that would give me a headache.. Okay, okay lame joke but this baby has some back!

I say rename the group to "Thick with curves" and I will join as a member.lol.

Why redefine a name? Why not just pick a new name?

I don't think the term escort properly defines the ladies around here, neither does a massage attendent (MA) define what you get a massage parlour. And hobbyist sure doesn't define me! I think it's more like obsession-ist! :)

BUT I do like JuliasUndies definition! :bigclap:

Alright there we have it the forum has spoken, I'd like to know if in the definition we could add that spinner also only seems to pertain to white woman?

I wasn't aware that the term had ever had any definition related to ethnicity. Did I miss something?

Since I was one who used the words "redefine and reclaim" in my post, I'll try to answer this. Nobody said anything about a hierarchy or one being better than the other. Julia's post was just a nice way of saying that all women are beautiful regardless of size--that's it. My person dislike of the word spinner stems from my feeling that it's a rather degrading way to describe a thin/slender/petite person. Why not just say slender? Or thin? Why the need to define her size by how well she can be spun around on your cock?

I have seen several Asian women described as spinners. I find terms such as spinner, BBW, etc to be fairly useless. There are so many other characteristics that are more important to me that my eyes tend to pass over the alphabet soup that people use to describe body type.

I believe that position is called "The Helicopter".

@Berlin, I'm in complete agreement. I find most labels annoying in general, including BBW, MILF, an especially "hobbiest;" I'm not collecting Hummels or stamps, I'm having sex with another human being.

Really, though, labels are a common shorthand, and we'll always use them. I don't think that 90% of the people using "spinner" to describe someone are actually referring to a real or imagined ability to spin anyone on anything, which is why I really don't get bent out of shape about the term. No matter what term you use there is the potential that someone is going to find it offensive. I've seen women get offended by being described as thin, petite, slim, etc.

As for hierarchy, other posters had brought it up in previous replies to this thread.

I just think people need to chill out a little about terms. There are much more blatant uses of crude descriptors or language being used on here that nobody seems to worry about. I'm certainly not defending this particular word versus any other, as I never really use it.

@Julia, I've actually seen several references to women of various ethnicities on here using the term "spinner," particularly in the section on Ottawa Stripclubs.
