Is there another Board ?

Recommended Posts

Is there another board for Ottawa where one can offer more information

regarding services and as well offer negative comments for those places

that have poor service ? If ther was anything like the Montreal board it would be very helpful in finding the right service. This board is very limited. Please PM me if information of this type is not allowed here.

CERB is absolutely tremendous help with "finding the right service", which is the most important thing. There are plenty of recommendations here with quite a bit of detail, so you can really understand why someone is being recommended and whether those reasons match your own tastes.

What you'll get with a warehouse of "negative comments" is a way to identify wrong services. Who needs that when CERB already helps you find the right ones? That we don't dwell on the bad stuff here doesn't make us "limited", just civil and positive. You can still get everything you need to know from CERB to help with your search.

Unless you have a morbid fascination with the negative, that is. In which case... you know... I very sincerely wish you success in your search.

While CERB is a very positive enviroment for Providers and Hobbyists it can lack detail. I do enjoy my visits to this site and am happy that we have such an place to congregate and discuss such a wide variety of topics, but it must be sugar coated to appease all.

My 6 cents, worth.

I'm pretty sure that we're reading different recommendations. Or, that we're looking for different kinds of "details".

I suppose it comes down to what kind of encounter you're looking for exactly, and what information you consider important when choosing a woman's companionship.

I posted a thread about lack of recos and see this discussion as somewhat of the other side of the coin, and possibly one reason why there is a lack of recos. In that thread I also suggested that a reco should be written only for an excellent encounter, not an average one. Unfortunately this is not always the case and the reason some do not always trust recos. Based on personal experiences I fall into the latter group.

When you have restrictions on what can be posted there will be details omitted, no way around it. And often these details are important for a hobbyist to avoid things that would ruin an encounter for him, or for the provider. Or both.

Common wisdom is that you need to realize what is NOT said in a reco as well as what IS said. Some newer members have yet to learn how to decipher the recos and may think it is easier to see different info. I think it is foolhardy to advise someone to only research one side of an issue, not only on this issue but most issues. I've never subscribed to the "too much info" theory, I always like to know as much as possible about many things I am involved in. Especially when it involves sex, money or both!

Yes, there is lots of good info here and a smart hobbyist would be foolish to ignore it. But a smart hobbyist also learns how to use the info provided appropriately. And how to Google for what he can't find here :D

Am I the only one who sees an irony in coming to CERB to ask is there another board.

I hear some complain about CERB and it's policy of no negative reviews, but when you were creating your profile when you joined CERB, you must have read the rules. If the rules aren't to your liking, hit Google as suggested, find something more to your liking, or create your own board where you can make up your own rules

Jdelano --

Pm sent.

You cant discuss other boards here, but I dont see anything wrong with your question. Just bear in mind that each board has plusses and minuses, and cerb is usually where I hang out.

And you will need to look analyse every positive and negative post.

IMHO......look at the posityve and let the rest flow under the bridge.

If you are looking for negative, you will never find anything positive.....

I think it is possible to come to the conclusion that CERB can have its shortcomings in its no negative review policy if you have experienced a bad encounter initially but with more encounters and more research with CERB recos and EC and google (I dont use any other board than cerb for reviews)you can separate the wheat from the chaffe.

I have had some less than desirable experiences and the girls were never mentioned by me in a reviewas is the case with most other gents, I presume .

So with cerb if the girl is reviewed numerous times positively thats a good thing of course there is the ymmv thing with hygeine etc and chemistry but still its a better bet with a highly reviewed girl

On the flip side some of my best experiences have been with girls who were never reviewed (or advertized on cerb)

I've seen girls here with glowing reviews only to be disappointed. When I post about it on that other board, I usually get a load of replies or pms telling me of similar experiences. I'm sure the ones here with pages of great reviews deserve them, but take everything with a grain of salt. It can't always be sunny.

I posted this in as neutral a way as possible. Mods please don't level another infraction on meeee!

Even though CERB does not permit negative reviews in its recommendation sections does not mean we cannot talk about other boards in a discussion section such as this. This board does exist to provide a forum for discussion and the pros and cons of different review types are good topics for discussion.

I have seen many ladies after they have had 'negative' reviews on other boards. In fact I've seen a few that only been discussed outside this board. What is a negative to one hobbyist may not be negative to me but I value seeing more information over seeing less. I have a mind and am capable of evaluating a review from multiple perspectives.

Unfortunately according to the rules lifted from the Rules & FAQ we can't.

This is a non-profit site sponsored by DesignCo. (escorts-canada/localescorts/lyla.com/etc..) so we try to keep the traffic within our network as well. Promote our directories and projects but more important thant anything cerb is all about community and keeping the ladies and the men who hobby in the industry safe.

Acceptable sites:

escorts-canada.com (escortscanada.com escorts-canada.ca etc...)

lyla.com

localescorts.ca

cerb.ca (obviously)

shemale-canada.com

torontofetish.com

and other sites owned by DeSign Co.

Not Acceptable unless approval is authorized first by the mod:

Any escort directory other then those listed above

Any discussion forum other then cerb that is about escorts or this industry.

I respectfully disagree.  I think there's a big difference between, on the one hand, specifically discussing another website ... particularly when you reference it by name, or facsimile thereof, and, on the other hand, honestly talking about the pros and cons of different types of SP related websites.  The OP asked about the latter, and most of the discussion (at least, IMO, the helpful discussion ... smile) has been around that point.  That sort of discussion is, IMO, good for Cerb as it is good content that drives readers to the site, which is good for clicks, ad revenue, etc., etc..

From my perspective, I wish we had more of these discussions, not less, as these sorts of discussions are important to the overall success of Cerb.  People will visit here if they think they are going to get helpful, truthful information ... If they think all they are going to get is "the company line," credibility will suffer as will website business.
