In Qu?bec side (Hull sector) there is the Ramada inn near the Casino and the Hilton Casino Lac Leamy. Both are very beautifull place, have a lot of free parking and of course a Casino near by to spend your money... In Ottawa, there are few on Rideau street/Montr?al road if you want only for couple hour but not for sleep. They are different than the regular cookie cutter hotels all over downtown Ottawa and Gatineau. I agree. Both very cool "boutique" hotels with lots of character and class. Please I will appreciate any and all inputs. :oops: :?thankx The one that I've visited the most for hotel-based in-calls has been, (in this case the somewhat ironically-named) Extended Stay Hotel on Cooper at Cartier, just off the Elgin Street strip right downtown. Favoured by a number of in-town and out-of-town escorts when they want a place to meet clients for a day or two. Never seem to stay there more than an hour or two, despite the name. lol Rates are very reasonable. And if you follow Dummpy's good suggestion of Hotwire to book, you will often end up there if you are the one booking a hotel downtown for some fun 1 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
APower20 400 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 Since I live with two other people (who rarely leave the house) I've had to get a hotel on a couple of occasions when meeting an escort. Both times I've stayed at the Lord Elgin hotel, they don't seem to mind me staying for a day, and leaving many hours before my scheduled check out. Prices are decent for what you get, king size bed and a great view of the park on Elgin Street, and lots of things to play on when the pretty lady shows up. Cost has been under $200 both times, but still a little pricey for me (when I'm only there for 8 hours at most), I think I'll check out the other hotels listed above. Capital Hunter 18263 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 I have been taking my guest to Crown Plaza this summer while receiving ladies at home (I do not take incalls for legal reasons). Crown Plaza is nice and convenient and can drop by Barbs just across and get hot beforehand. If booked on web it is as little as $110 + tax (it is %15 off if booked on the web and can cancel until 3:00 pm of the booking day). Just make sure that they don't assign you to 20+ floor as you would need the key to use the elevator. I have taken my visiting guest to Delta Hotel too (also just across Barbs). I got myself a large 350 sqf premier room for only $104 +tax. Again by booking on web you can save up to %25. Standard rooms are smaller but cost same if booked on web. I beleive you can cancel up to 4:00 pm of the booking day). I personally wasn't impressed by Arc hotel. The rooms were small and dark and even (slightly) more expensive than above two hotels. The Delta is a nice place to stay on business as well. Great staff and good rates, but I'd wish they would update the bathrooms a bit which are quite small in the Suites. Rarely you will hit a room with dated furniture, but you can usually get moved out of there. The beds are all new and very comfortable with great comforters. One nice thing about the Delta is that if you are on the first nine floors (I think its nine), there is an elevator down the hall to your left as you enter the building that doesn't require you to pass by the front desk. If a SP wants to be particularly discrete and get to the other floors, they can take this elevator up to the 3rd - 9th floor, go down to the other end of the building, and take the main elevators to the upper floors. Annessa 22743 Report post Posted August 23, 2009 I just rented a split room and kitchen suite recently at Les Suites in the market. While the location was convienient (especially for things to do while in-between calls) I found that the convienient location was the best part of it and the beds were very motel-ish in bedding. sheet, foam-blanket, then paper-thin comforter. the living rooms were nice, but the beds were very standard The balcony option was a plus however as my self and some of my clients are smokers but not everyone wants to smell the aftermath of stale cigarette smoke. also they do provilde you with proper utensils and glasses and plates in the kitchen as many hotels dont supply those and you have to call up for even a simple bottle opener The lobby and entry is definitely "no questions asked" to anyone upon arrival no matter what time regardless I still favour the delta Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Annessa 22743 Report post Posted October 12, 2009 I have to retract my high favor for the delta hotel. while it is a great hotel with very beautiful beds and generally no questions asked service, I have booked reservations ahead of time there only to be grilled and embarassed in front of lobby-dwellers as to why I was an ottawa resident trying to book a room and then refused a room. they said it was because I could only pay cash (I am still re-establishing my credit so it will be a bit before I can qualify for a credit card), they also said that ALL hotels had just adopted that policy.......however, they then offered to call a few surrounding hotels to see if they could accomodate me (ie. their "new hotel policy in the Ottawa area" line was b.s.) They put me up at Crown Plaza in a Key-Card Entry only (after 9pm) -room....it didnt set me back all that being said I was with a girlfriend tonight having a major fight with her fiance...she asked if I knew any hotels that had balconys or at least had smoking....the crown plaza was a little out of her budget so I said try delta...if she had a credit card there should be no question....ottawa resident or not....they took all the booking information until I said she was an ontario resident.....they said regardless of her having a CC she could not check in because they no longer accept ottawa or gatineau residents because of "too many problems" if you're visiting ottawa, go for it, but I have a feeling this place has flagged too many escort-related visits and has their walls up now....TO ANYONE...and I'm thinking there is a bit of a female bias there too...heck if I was an older business-man arriving back into Ottawa on a late flight, I'm not sure if there would have been such a fuss. but the fact that they threw my girlfriend who had nowhere else to go into the "same category" (whatever that means) made me lose all respect for that establishment Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
canuckhooker 19202 Report post Posted October 12, 2009 One that nobody mentioned is the Marriot. On Hotwire or Priceline on the weekends you can get a room in the $100 range. You don't have to go by the front desk and even if you do, you don't attract attention. No keycards in the elevator, and the rooms are great. Nice rooms, very reasonable rates and all the rooms I've stayed in had balconies. The elevators are away from the front desk, and are easily accessable. Also, do they have those prepaid Visa cards up in Canada? As fate would have it, although I usually stay at the Delta, they are booked up during my next visit, so I'm going to try out the Minto Suites which is just a few blocks away. They refused to offer rooms to anyone with an Ottawa address even if you had a valid credit card. Most of the hotels no longer accept the pre-charged credit cards available from MoneyMart etc. However, I did hear that Victoria Park Suites still accept good old fashioned cash. They make the reservation and take your information. You only leave a CC at the desk for incidentals. Technically you have already paid for the room when you make a booking. I would think the hotel would have a hard time to refuse you admittance when you had already paid for room through a broker that they use.
