canuckhooker 19202 Report post Posted February 26, 2013 Quite seriously, if for some reason you (or your friend, wink, wink) are unwilling to go to see your family doctor, then there are plenty of clinics you can use fairly anonymously. I know for a fact that if you go to Appletree, they have certain Doctors they will refer you to in their clinics for these problems.. If you are over a certain age, and are healthy, they have no problem giving you a prescription, and maybe even a couple of samples to get you going. A doctor will give you samples and you can get a prescription no problem. Dont be shy, there are lots of men that need them. Its nothing to be ashamed about. Just because an herb or over the counter thing is available, are you going to swallow it 'cuz someone says it's good for you? I'm tempted even as I read this, but somehow, I have a lick of common sense. Don't follow someone's advice without some proof and acceptance from a source who has some study stats. Your Doc can help you figure it out. Talk out your beliefs & what you've read to your practitioner if you have trust. Don't go exploring in the dark guys. For safety, yes it prudent to seek a physician input to ensure that you have no underlying condition that would expose you to the undesirable side effects. The legality is a secondary issue that reflects your own beliefs about the logical background of the law. There are many laws passed on daily basis by legislators in different parts of the world that either make no sense in isolation or inconsistent by comparison. While the law might potentially limit our personal choices, it could be either challenged or the person affected might choose to move somewhere else where the law is less stringent. I don't see Viagra or Cialis as serious medications. They are generally safe except for select group of individuals who have, for example, some forms of cardiovascular diseases. In fact, they are used very frequently these days by both younger and older age groups. All medications have side effects. It might be a bit of a surprise just to read about the side effects of Tylenol or Ibuprofen for example. Sex, in itself, if you may consider it as a form of therapy, could lead to serious side effects for those with advanced cardiovascular diseases. Drug companies, in general, tend to list enormous lists of side effects just to ensure that they covered medico-legally. Generally speaking one might say that it is safer to follow the textbook and seek physician advice to start such medication (Viagra, Cialis etc.), which is true, but it is not unreasonable for those with no pre-existing comorbidities not to seek such an advice if they are well informed. There is also the person's choice that must be taken into account as well. Lets say after a consultation with the physician, he/she was of the opinion that such medication could lead to undesirable side effects while the person involved decided that he is willing to take the risks regardless. Then who will make the final decision for him? The law as it stands allow selling and buying Viagra as long as it is made with a physician prescription. P.S. Most family doctors will give you a sample pack. These types of medication are prescription medication and must be filled at a licensed pharmacy.
