Ah, but that is exactly my point. "Experienced hobbiest" actually make up a very small percentage of clients :mrgreen: It is the new ones or the infrequent visitors, or those who find someone right off the bat and stay with them for years and years that escorts also need to reach. These are not so experienced, but their numbers are significantly higher than the review board folks. Also, your average review board user is not necessarily a repeater, but often looking for the next best thing. The sps who only look for 5 or 6 appts a week are going to find these sites are more than enough.

 

But from an sp standpoint, using sites that significantly increase our exposure to repeat clients is much more important than missing out on some of the experienced hobbiests due to our preference for using CL to advertise.

 

 

 

Just something to ponder and, after all, you will not miss out on all reputable sps because the majority of them will be advertising on the sites you mention......as well as CL :mrgreen:

 

All in all if you believe so, good luck on your future endevors. I really do know that SP'S here on Cerb have many, many repeat clients. Yes i realize that "some" SP'S need more clientale and will use such places as Cl, but the danger's associated with it may not be worth it.

I think it is important to expect that there may be many dangerous situations for both clients and providers.

 

I completely agree with Fortunateone about the repeat clients aspect- from my experience it is true that many experienced hobbiests from CERB either already have their favourites(rarely venturing outside of that ) or they prefer not to repeat at all for sake of variety!

 

I advertise on CL, EC, and CERB from time to time and all sites have given me caring, polite, sexy and respectful clients! I think my pre-screening process definitely helps me figure out who I would like as a new client, but honestly just taking the time to answer any questions shows me that a potential client sincerely wants to see me- perhaps doing the same with an SP will yield the same results, anyone who is really interested in meeting new clients will do their best to make them feel comfortable and safe.

 

Apart from quality of clients, response rates from both CERB and CL are similar with a good number of leads making either a good choice for free advertising but EC's site has always quickly overwhelmed me with messages from new clients which has made me leery of renewing my ad- a little too effective, lol (this may be biased for me, being that I normally have the only ad in the exotic massage section).

I've never arranged an encounter except through CERB. The closest I came was a CL ad. I messaged the girl back and forth a couple of times and got a few red flags (for me). One she didn't seem to know what GFE meant, and had never heard of CERB. Also she was quite pushy in trying to arrange a meeting. Her rates also made me more than a bit suspicious as she said $150/hr for straight sex and a BJ and an extra $100 for greek (I didn't ask for that as I'm not into it). That seems way below what the professional SP's expect, especially the greek.

Now the fact she didn't know what GFE or CERB mean was not enough for me to decide against her because I'm sure lots of SP's don't know CERB and many new girls probably don't know all the acronyms. Still on top of the other stuff it didn't reassure me.

However the one thing that really stood out was her lack of concern in trying to find out anything about me for her own safety. That just seemed to set off the alarm bells. So I passed.

Advertising venues can be judged much like the way we view certain sectors or neighborhoods in town. A wise man( my grand pappy) once told be and I still believe it to this day. "good people can live in bad neighborhoods, and bad people can live in good neighborhoods" The same logic applies to where certain advertisers choose to promote themselves.

She looks sweet, but when I spoke with her on the phone she sounded off. She gave me her address which was in the neighborhood which I believe not to be the greatest area in the city. Of course I went to recce the area so as to get a feel with my surroundings, to see if they put off a bad vibe or not. It never hurts to check things out a bit first.

yep rachel and her new team took me for 200 on 2 seperate ocasions you would be wise to avoid her and anyone useing her phone #, no lol rachel burned me the first time, the second time it was a girl who rachel turned out to be the person who set it up, whish i had looked at the phone# more closely 613- 806 - 6258 avoid this number like the plague or you will be plagued!

We have all made are mistakes, we have all been burned in the past by some sort of scam. So don't float your boat about why there are still some "dumb guys" using "CL" I have used the services of some ladies on "CERB" and have been burned also.

I don't think there was anything mean spirited intended here Irwin. I was wondering how it could happen myself...y'know, the once burned, twice shy thing. Arazok's answer was educational because I now know some of the methods used by these scammers. I think folks are genuinely interested in the details of how the scam was perpetrated so they can learn from someone else's experience. Just my read on it anyway.

Rachel was such a **** and a ******* she absolutely made me not want to touch her i asked for my money back since she did bate and switch said she was full gfe all she would allow was a bj and she wouldnt even do that got to the point where i said forget giveing the 200 back just get out. the second girl talked me up for like 5 min got me to trust her, the cell rang, she said it was her driver and he had to go, would i be able to vive her a ride home if she gave me an extra 30 min. i said sure so she said she had to pay the driver. she got dressed but left her bra since she was comeing back well she already had my 200 bucks she never came back. grats me on a $15 dollar bra

I agree with Jabba and thank-you ARAZOK for the info. I think by giving details it enlightens us to what could take place. I would imagine there are lots of scams and it helps when you have heard about them, at least you can see what could happen next.
