My son just told me...hey mom listen to this: It made me happy instantly :) Doing a good deed makes me happy :) Watching my kids smile makes me happy :) Smiling to a stranger and getting a smile back...nice! I always smile when I think of my children....either when they were younger or now... they remind me of how lucky I have been. These same memories can also make me very emotional. She'll have the baby on for a visit, and he's now able to sit up and starting to recognize whats going on, on the laptop. Bianca Jaguar 39183 Report post Posted February 28, 2014 I mentionned this as a highlight of the day a few days ago... My mom is suffering from Alzeimer and she's at a stage where she needs more care...my sister called me and asked me if I could give her a bath. My younger sister is always there for my parents but it was a cry for help as she was saying that was one thing she could not do! I told her I would do it and felt pretty confident I could convince my mom... She was a bit reluctant at first but got her in the bath and joked around...she was all smiles after and thanked me many times...she doesnt have a short term memory anymore but for some reason I know she will remember that bath and ask for more...seeing her happy and my dad too as I took some weight off his shoulder...that was one HAPPY DAY!! to top it off...my 2 sisters called me to thanked me saying they knew I could pul it off :D It was a very happy moment!
