2 pointsI do like your intentions with regard to it all going to her, but that is a misguided notion. It's the same with spa vs. indy as it is with agency SP vs. indy SP. When I was independent in the past, I had a couple of people say that indy rates should be lower because there was no agency fee. What many people don't realize is that independents have to cover everything themselves. If working from a hotel, that's a cost of 100-250 a night. For someone who doesn't want to be high-volume, that's more than an agency/spa would take. And even when working from their own place, many people rent a separate 'work' apartment, and the rent on that place + advertising fees + work phone + supplies + travel to and from work = a LOT of money. Currently I could easily live on what I used to spend each month to have my own work place, and it was defininitely more each month than the massage studio fees are.

2 pointsThe only reason there's a big ado about the Mayan calendar is because most people don't realize how it works. Both the short count and the long count are cyclic. Think of a clock. It's got a second hand, a minute hand, and an hour hand. And it keeps going around and around. The world doesn't end at 12. It just begins a new cycle on the clock. Same as the calendar. Only the individual wheels (hands) measure in much larger increments than seconds/minutes/hours. So.... No end of the world. Posted via Mobile Device

2 pointsI do not offer the mechanical style of service. I tend to agree with mod on their description of GFE. I firmly believe that kissing, looking into each other's eyes, truly concerning for their comfort and enjoyment. I don't think has to have a list of abbreviations, or should be narrowed down to that only, but the feeling that is shared between hobbyist and SP. Besides how would we abbreviate to convey passion? It is the style and approach to a date....to be like a date! Not a transaction.

1 pointI had the pleasure of meeting Summer for the first time last evening. She has a convenient incall location and greeted me at the door in a very sexy outfit. She is a great conversationalist and we talked as though we were old friends. She enjoys what she does and is definitely not a clock watcher. I really liked this about her since it allowed the session to proceed in a very relaxed manner which added to the whole experience. Summer is all natural, which I love. She has the perfect body, IMO and excellent rates as well to accommodate all budgets. I will be seeing this lady again and again! Highly recommended.

1 pointSince becoming an MA about six months ago, I've had at least a dozen potential clients contact me about an appointment, then refuse to see me because I'm in a spa. A few have said they 'don't like the spa atmosphere', they 'don't do spas', or they're 'not comfortable in a spa'. Why is that? To be honest, when someone tells me they won't see me at a spa, it puts my radar up and makes me kind of scared. Makes me think I'd be unsafe seeing them, because if they won't see me at a place where other girls are working, why is that? WHat do they want to do to me? The spa atmosphere provides a level of safety to the girls that just doesn't exist in a private setting, which is why many of us choose to work in them. So my question to you gents who won't come to a spa, is WHY? I'm sure you're not all out to scare me and hurt me, but when you'd rather not see a girl then see her in a spa, why is that?

1 pointI am not too sure how to start this. I made a mistake and I feel absolutely terrible. I would like some input regarding my oops. A very nice Gentleman pre-booked me for yesterday. I was looking forward to our rendez-vous and had even purchased some special treats and made a new cd. (If you're reading this you know who you are) Under normal circumstances I don't book on Mondays or Fridays, but occasionally I will. With the long weekend and me thinking it was Sunday; up comes said Hobbiest to the door. My housemate always answers the door if he's home. I do not hear what transpires but he comes back and says that he had said he had the wrong house. I nodded and went back to what I was doing. Then it hit me like the Acme anvil from Bugs Bunny. Really! In a flash the phone was on and I was communicating with my Gentleman. I was completely beside myself with what I had done. He was very gracious about it, telling me not to cry or worry. Perhaps another time. In that itself he was a true Gentleman and Hobbiest; but...who would not feel these things: wasted my time preparing to come over she's a flake the anticipation and the letdown the awkward embarrassment at the door for him disappointment and perhaps anger I'm still feeling pretty bad this morning and I need some honest input from both Hobbiests and SP's. To our esteemed Hobbiests, I would like to know if you would book me again, if this happened to you? To our lovely Ladies, I would like to know if this has ever happened to you? Thank you

1 pointWell not much can be said to this thread that has not already been discussed in another one last year mostly in regards to Moncton http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=49878 To be honest, I hate more than anything to remove a city from my list of places I travel too, but it is hard to want to visit in a city where you get disrespected, haggled and treated like a piece of fast food. I travel, I pre-book and I DO NOT visit last minute (as do MANY other ladies) Why do we work this way? to ensure that we have bookings to cover the expenses as well to allow time for ourselves. This may be our means of a form of work right now, but we do have lives outside the hotel room. When I travel I do a heck of a lot more than sit in my room and wait for an email to come through. If I book spa time or a dinner date with a girl friend that time is spoken for as is any time reserved for a date. I like to plan my day - as do most people and when I plan personal time that time is taken. Three different ladies have posted on this thread already, and I can only guess that any other ladies that post here will be adding to the disappointment with their Moncton experiences. When I have had a not very postive trip to a city - I do go back a second and third time as timing and other factors can be a big deal in some cities. With that being said if it does not get any better I wont be coming back. When I am asked from other ladies that travel about cities I am very honest about the experiences and when they have been disastrous (like Moncton) I share as last thing I want to hear about is another lady getting no-showed and disrespected. What is a great client to one lady can be the chronic no-shower to another. It's not the case of a few bad apples in Moncton, it's more like almost the whole garden. We write ads, all the details are in them (and in some cases up to a month before we visit) so I dont get what the issue is with Moncton all I can say from a personal perspective is in Saint John and Fredericton there are no issues, people keep their encounters, follow instruction respect us making it enjoyable to visit those cities. I guess since the situation clearly is not getting better in Moncton, the option is to head to one of the other cities for an encounter, and if you make an appointment I sugget you keep it. This is one of those cases where the reality of the situation is worse than you realize and I don't blame ladies for not wanting to visit there.

1 pointI was born a Cape Bretoner and had an aunt who lived Marion Bridge that we visited with when I was really little. I have camped on the banks of the Mira with my family in later years and the majority of my life has been living in the Maritimes. This song is one that I always go back to as perhaps my feel good song that gives a sense of peace and relaxation and brings me to thoughts of times when there was nothing to worry about and only the joy of being young and having no responsibilities. There are a variety of versions of the song. Written in 1973 by Allister MacGillivray, it has been recorded by amongst others, Anne Murray, John McDermott, and John Allan Cameron,Cape Breton's musical poet. This version by Matt Minglewood is perhaps my favourite. I recall going to dances in the early 70's where the Sam Moon and Matt Minglewood Band were featured, and I suppose that memory also brings me to this version. Even without the memories and recollections that it brings, I have always found this to be a uniquely beautiful and haunting song that presents a version of life in Cape Breton that is idyllic. Out on the Mira by Matt Minglewood. My # 1 choice will be posted before too long.

1 pointI'll defer to the others on this board as you sound like a really nice person, and really sorry to hear that happened. However, I doubt I would come back ... its one thing to make a mistake, but to have that complicated exponentialy by being met at the door by a male roommate/significant other ... that's really tough. Personally, the one person in the world that I dont want to see or have anything to do with is a guy that lives with the lady in question ... that sucks all the mystery out for me, and it becomes almost a socio-biological reaction to stay away from that person as they are closely associated with someone else. I can live with that when its abstract, but not when he answers the door (smile). That would literally give me the shivers and stories like this remind me why I prefer outcall visits. If you are really interested in getting this client back, you may want to offer him a very special financial arrangement or other "perk" (dinner or something like that). Hope this helps and best wishes.

1 pointSorry to burst your bubble, but I LOVE my Bs and I have no qualms about going topless. I wouldn't get surgery even if it was on someone else's dime.

1 pointGentlemen, please.... Most men who consider themselves to be too small simply are not! Honest. You can trust me on this one: I'm sure I've seen, handled and otherwise engaged with far more penises of various dimensions than you have. Let's think about this, for a minute or two. Most women's vaginas are about five to five and a half inches long from entrance to cervix. A woman's g-spot is located about two inches inside her vagina. Many women do not have vaginal orgasms, but those of us who do don't need a penis to be especially long, or wide, to have one. Penises that are more than about six inches long when fully erect can be downright uncomfortable for many women. A lot of us don't like to feel anything banging against our cervixes and, if the man thrusts on an angle, he runs the risk of driving against an ovary, which is excruciatingly painful for the woman and will surely bring things to a sudden, unpleasant halt! If one is hoping to give an orgasm by rubbing the length of one's penis against the woman's clitoris, whether this is going to work or not has more to do with positions than with the size of the penis. If the woman is on top, she may be able to position herself or grind against the base of her partner's organ. Rubbing while in the missionary position rarely works. There are some men who have unusually small penises, it's true. But they are very few and far between. Those organs are usually fully functional, meaning that the owner can have very satisfying sexual contact, though he and his partner(s) may find that intercourse is not their most favourite act. Speaking for myself, alone, though I imagine that many women agree with me, penises are great, but what a man does with his hands, his tongue and, above all, his mind are the things that make the most difference.

1 pointI doubt this has a damned thing to do with child pornography, and to suggest it does is an insult to all our intelligence. I think it's more likely that this government wants to keep tabs on anyone organizing to oppose any of the elite interests they serve (because they're sure in the hell not serving OUR interests). Only recently, this govt has been heard to brand those with environmental concerns and who oppose tar sands development and pipelines as "eco-extremists," "enemies of Canada" and potential terrorists. They insist we'll all be better off for gouging a chunk the size of France and Germany combined out of our boreal forest, and shipping off the filthy sludge to China (via Gulf of Mexico or Northern BC), but I'm betting that while the GDP may nudge up, little prosperity will trickle down to most of us. I'm betting that we'll soon be handed extra heaping helpings of austerity.

1 pointThis sort of reminds me of GW Bush's rant after 9/11. Thumbs firmly hooked through the belt loops, Bush announced to the world "You're either with us or against us". A more temperate Laura Bush told him to tone it down. Toews is just towing the Harper "we know what is best for you" line. The government line is to brand all those in favour of personal liberty from government intrusion as a pedophile. oy. http://news.nationalpost.com/2012/02...+International From the vitriol shown in the various articles, the battle has taken a personal turn against Vic Toews. If Toew's past personal life becomes a larger liability to the government, Harper will just do a minor adjustment and rotate a minister or two and insert a different flunky. It is still Harper driving the Homeland Security bus. You bet! So, if this bill passes, who's going to police the Police if personal information is up for grabs? No - you should now all assume you are a potential pedophile if you believe in personal freedoms or privacy. What to do? Write/e-mail your local MPP and demand a response to the indignity proposed by this bill. Argue this bill infringes on the Canadian charter of rights and freedoms: * Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of the person and the right not to be deprived thereof except in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice. * Everyone has the right to be secure against unreasonable search or seizure Make clear in no uncertain terms you will publish the MPP's response in all forums available at your disposal. Make clear that you are willing to shine the clear light of disclosure on all of the private political linen. Assure them that you are only interested in the larger public interests and hunting down pedophiles that may be lurking in the House of Commons. Grrrrr! I therefore propose the following form letter you could address to your local MPP: Dear Mr/Mrs/Ms: I'm writing to you as a constituent to express concern about the proposed on-line surveillance bill. I believe this bill exceeds the following articles of the Canadian charter of rights and freedoms: "Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of the person and the right not to be deprived thereof except in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice." " Everyone has the right to be secure against unreasonable search or seizure." This bill seeks to deprive ordinary citizens of the right of security against unreasonable search. I believe this bill mainly serves to undermine the spirit of the 1st article, but more concretely, the 2nd article of the charter. The bill is therefore unconstitutional in essence. Furthermore, as a member of your constituency, I will vigorously stand against any unilateral movement by your government to impose such measures. I suggest Mr. Toews distance himself from using an inflammatory approach to winning public opinion: "With us or with the child pornographers..." I strongly object to any kind of characterization which compares conscientious objection to this bill to moral depravity. As your constituent, I ask you to stand to oppose this bill on my behalf. Kind regards, xxxxxx

1 pointLets just see how this plays out. There has been some back-pedalling from the Opposition regarding some things that were said. It's the "without a warrant" that will fail this I'm pretty sure. I'm almost positive Cdns are not willing to give up that right to privacy without reason and will stand up against this. Talk about Occupy the Internet!

1 pointLot's of great stuff above. Here's one that I return to again and again: Sort of a debut, but Van had already made his mark with "Brown Eyed Girl" and "Gloria". I like how Rolling Stone describes it (#19 on their top 500 album list): This is music of such enigmatic beauty that, thirty-five years after its release, Astral Weeks still defies easy, admiring description.
