Folks, Just had to share this experience with you good people on this site?..especially if you are having one of those days??..( i know a few who are.....) A little over a year ago, a good friend of mine became quite ill and was told he needed a kidney transplant?..and it was urgent that this be done??. Unfortunately, he had a difficult time finding a compatible donor, the search was onerous and fruitless?..and just when it seemed that his fate was sealed??a donor was found????. The other day, as I was ripping my hair out, annoyed that I didn?t get to fly the route I bid, annoyed that the damn lawn care guy didn?t weed my lawn properly, and that my son had ONCE again forgotten to take the garbage out?..the phone rang??.. It was my friend??he called to ask me, if I saw how absolutely wonderful the sun was this morning and how truly magnificent it looked as it rose into the sky??..a sight HE THOUGHT a few weeks ago HE MAY NEVER SEE AGAIN??..those comments stopped me dead in my tracks?? I am by no means a religious man, nor someone who is overly sensitive or very emotional??.but his words rang true in my ear??? Regardless of what MINOR stress I was dealing with that day, and God knows we all have stress?..it was NOTHING compared to what this guy went thru??yet he had the most positive outlook on life??.he was simply glad to be alive??.. So, while I am not discounting our daily stress and how difficult it may seem to us??look up in the sky, and all around you?? it sure is great to be alive ! Especially, with all the wonderful ladies we get to meet on CERB?? Enjoy your day??.

in a sea of what seems to be "dos and Do-not" threads that have lead to somewhat negative perceptions of some of us ladies on here, I would like to start a more positive thread directed towards the ladies about dates they've had recently that at the end of the day make us sigh a lovely sigh and make us say "gosh darn-it....i REALLY LOVE my job!" (this is not to say we dont love our jobs to begin with. I totally do! but what special things sometimes make you REALLY REALLY love it at the end of the day? One of my new favorites definitely loves to take his time, books at least two hours and is a wonderful dancer. He happens to share my love for Jazz and we spend almost the first hour talking, sipping wine and dancing. He literally sweeps me off my feet (and if I'm lucky, I get dipped too! lol)! Sometimes I have to admit that I've caught myself watching him leave through the peep-hole...that is where I sigh to myself and definitely the inner monologue plays saying "sigh...i love my job" ;-) Another client I have always books a very nice hotel suite for us and is insistent on asking what i feel like eating as a snack or drinking for a beverage...even if I say I'm not fussy. Just the idea that someone is being so considerate is very thoughtful and goes a long way...when I hang up the phone or fire of my reply email at home setting up our date with the possibility of shrimp and lobster I say to myself "sigh...I love my job" Ladies in the industry: what little extra things or recent fun perks on the day-to-day basis of your work-life make you pause and think to yourself the same? it could be luxurious or even something simple and kind, sexual or non-sexual

when considering travelling as an SP you must take into consideration a few things: one: you should start advertising in advance {at least 2 weeks} two: get your name out there...let people get to know you...example posting on CERB.. three: pre-book with reputable members also get contact numbers Four: research your city of choice...see what the interest there is for gents to see you... going in blind doesn't always work.... five: find things to do on your downtime...Amelia and I have been having a blast on this tour...from sinking in the mud at Hopewell rocks to having very strange tacos in Saint John...lol Six: most importantly have fun...and always make the best out of your trips... have an adventure and explore... kisses, Emma A

Earlier this week I had the opportunity to visit with Amelia while she was in Moncton. For a very long time I always dreamed about meeting Amelia. Once I heard she would be touring NB I jumped at the opportunity to schedule time with her and very glad I did. I must admit I was EXTREMELY nervous or excite to see her and when she opened the door total relax wave hit me. I was greeted with a warm kiss and hug and invited to the couch were we share many stories and laughs. Amelia is very creative and enjoys her experience she has with you. Out of respect for her I will not go into deals about our encounter, but you MUST experience the passion of Sweet Amelia. I can't wait until next time when, once again, I can be in paradise!!

I personally have no problem visiting a new city every now and then, providing that there is interest. The population really does not matter, I find that getting a better hotel is more of a challenge in some of the smaller cities, as well as reassuring people that discretion is always assured.

I am making this a mandatory read as I am getting a lot of PM's from people asking if they did something wrong as some posts that were made recently and some people's PM's have vanished. I did not intentionally delete these or anything like that so please do not assume I did as I am getting angry PM's from people who think I did this intentionally. This is NOT something we on purpose. The site had a major crash yesterday (July 20th 2010) and we lost some data but were able to restore most of the data and get the site back online for everyone. We had a hard drive fail earlier in the week and to make a long story short... this messed up the database that runs cerb. I thought we had it all fixed and sorted out and back on a new drive... but it was not 100% ... turns out we did not have the problem fixed completely as the albums part of the site had another crash yesterday and we almost lost all the ladies photos. I fixed this but in turn had to restore the site using a a backup of the database from the previous night (so some posts during the day were lost and some people got noticed for PM's they had already read - everyone had to log back in and it was just a giant mess) The problem why I can not restore PM's was the backup file was not saving as a complete backup (only a partial backup as the error in the picture table was stopping the backup) so unfortunately some people have lost some PM's and Posts. I have tried my best to restore the PM's and Posts that I could salvage (all others I regret to say have been lost). Many of you store pm's on the site (I do it too and it's a bad habit but I do understand many of you don't want to store this info in other places) I am taking extra steps to ensure the backup database dumps are complete each night so we can avoid this in the future. I have also removed the photos from the database and placed them in a folder on the server (Making the database smaller so this should also help). This was not done previously as it caused a security risk but that risk is no longer an issue so hopefully this stops the same problem from happening in the future. I do apologize for the loss of the PM's and any posts that have gone astray. A public thread on this subject has been opened here where you can comment. http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=30788

I just got back from the States and paid on average 2.80 Canadian $ for a US gallon of gas which is about 3.8 litres (74 cents a litre). On top of that, did you know that Canada exports more oil to Texas than Texas produces. In fact Canada is top crude oil provider to the US even ahead of Saudi Arabia. So why doesn't the Government/ oil companies pass on some of these profits to keep our prices down at home. After all, Canada has long lines of communication and we need to drive to get around and see our vast country.

"It is what it is"...your own comfort level. To be quite frank, all I ever do is in calls. I never worried about it, the fact remains, if you are seeing an Indy who is very discrete about it, it works well for both parties. The mature Indy that does not have that "revolving door" there is nothing to be worried about. I never had the paranoid syndrome over the many years. So thanks to those discrete ladies.;-)
