In the long run, bickering over small things or holding grudges for tivial trangressions is pointless. We are only here for brief periods and our lives are so fragile they can be snapped away at any moment. Will that grudge seem all that important the first Christmas without someone? Too many people seem to actively look for confrontation, scaraficing joy in the process. Live your lives and treat the time you have with family and friends like the treasure it truly is.

I like the baklava at Brioche on Bank street in the Glebe (west side across from the Glebe Meat market). Their strawberry white forest cakes are amazing too and any time I grab one for a party or whatever, everyone loves it. For pizza, well I like Colonnade but the best is K&S up on Bank street at Albion. Ma and Pa place, 1960's decor..hole in the wall but good pizza!
