  1. Well not hat I'm an expert but I'll weigh in. At first gance, I have 2 issues with the situation. First, I'm having difficulty with the client being the sister-in-law. I personally don't see it being any of her business. It would be very different to me if your client was the wife but I feel that just because someone wants to know something doesn't mean they have a right to know. I say this not being familiar with the industry and not knowing what is common practice. It's just my opinion. The second issue, and probably more pertinent, is the "outing" you describe. I think although we try to separate our hobbying lives from the "real" world, we simply can't completely. I also feel that it is a similar situation to being at the grocery store where you run into a fellow hobbyist with his wife. In that situation you would either ignore him or come up with some story about how you knew each other. I think there exists a "code" that we must adhere to. It's a code which is mutually beneficial. You know something about him but he may also know something about you. Even if he doesn't Karma has a way of working these things out. I think the fact that struggling with what to do probably means you already know that you don't want this client. So I'd suggest, you go to the client and tell her you've discovered a personal link to the gentleman which disqualifies you from taking her as a client and give her her money back. My $0.02. Pennies are still accepted, right?
  2. I go to Pigs daytime during the week. I haven't seen Jordan in quite a while. Does anyone know if she's still around?
  3. I saw her a couple of weeks ago. This girl is stunning. She offered a very nice time in the CR. She's gone back home to TO I think. If you're in the area, she can be found at Solidgold in Oakville.
  4. I've seen Mya a few times in the CR. I highly recommend. Dabbler Posted via Mobile Device
  5. I think that there is a place for censorship to a degree. I would like to think that anything which is clearly promoting violence or hatred should at least be retstrict to air play at certain times of day. However, to simply look at the word and not the context is simple minded. The song is a blue collar view of the "rock star". I think that even today you will people who would choose to use similar vocabulary. I am increasingly concerned if we have grown so sensitive that art is no longer allowed to reflect society for fear of what we might see. Dabbler
  6. Olive is a sweetheart. I've seen her there at noon. It seems to me she's there most days except Tuesday or Wednesday. Not sure which.
  7. I have seen an RMT for therapeutic massage to treat an injury. I can assure you that there is nothing relaxing about therapeutic massage. In fact it is painful. I really don't think Mr. Happy would ever get confused.
  8. I was once asked what MY limits were. I really hadn't thought about it before so I stumbled over my answer. (I 'm not even sure what I said.) We both laughed and then proceeded to have a very enjoyable time with lots of joking around.
  9. Already checked the cowboy's site with no hits.
  10. Has anyone seen an SP in Carleton Place by the name of Alison? I saw her ad on OAN and she seems very nice. I'd appreciate any info. Otherwise I may have to TOFTT. Dabbler
  11. ...Or nobody knows anyone working that area. I think that Belle Bordeaux is in the St-Laurent and Montreal Road area. But that;s not the are you're looking for. Dabbler
  12. I seen SPs at hotels and at private residences for incalls. I must say that I'm way more comfortable at a hotel. I'd be interested in hearing your thought on the topic. Would you visit an SP at her private residence? Dabbler
  13. I saw that the Nu Den was operating on it's Sunday schedule.
  14. This is not really a recommendation so I'm putting it in the discussion area. I was just so impressed, I had to share this experience. The other day I saw an ad Belle Bordeaux had posted with a special for St Patty's day. I had been thinking about booking an appointment with her so sent her an email to inquire. When I didn't receive a response, I just assumed that she had been booked up and I was out of luck. I've grown accustom to not getting replies and just attribute it to a busy SP. Well, the next day I received an email from Belle apologizing for not getting back to me sooner. To make it up to me, she also offered to extend the special rate tome should I still wish to book an appointment. Unfortunately, her schedule and mine did not mesh . However, I was truly impressed with this lady's professionalism. She really understands that business is about relationships. I can't wait to meet her in person. Dabbler
  15. Yes, Happy Birthday Erin. Sorry I let this slide, After I posted this I ran into a family emergency and could not get back online. I'll try to do this again sometime with more details and notice up front.
  16. Well, the only places I can think of are in Albert where there are no CRs. This is how the dancers make their living. It's kind of like walking into a car dealership. You want to look around a bit before you buy, but you know the sales staff will be asking if you need help. It goes with the territory. Keep in mind that the dancers understand that you may not want to join them in the CR. They shouldn't take it personally. Keep in mind also, if it's quiet they may just want someone to talk to. I'm sure it can get pretty boring sometimes.
  17. With a recent thread about going to a club alone I had an idea. The polygroup has get togethers. So why not follow their example. Is there any interest out there to meet at a local strip club. I was thinking we could meet tomorrow late afternoon or early evening at one of the local establishments. I just thought it would help anyone reluctant to go alone and would likely be a good time. It would be even better if some ladies joined. So... Any takers? Dabbler Posted via Mobile Device
  18. I agree with all. Firstly it's not disgusting. A lot more happens in some clubs so kissing is not a big deal IMHO. I really appreciate it when it happens. That being said the other dancers will not appreciate it if you offer "services" that they do not. Depending on the club you may be OK. If the CR offers adequate privacy you can do what you want (within reason). If the room is open you may want to consult the other dancers on what the norm is for the club. My sense is that they'd appreciate you wanting to abide by the standard they have established.
  19. I just saw this ad on CL for a private member club that offers CR type dances. http://ottawa.en............ca/ers/1548383573.html I guess it gets around the by laws by being a private club in much the same way CMJ operates. I ran into something like this in North Carolina but didn't have the nerve to go in. Does anyone have any experience with this type of operation? Dabbler
  20. I must say that I haven't had what I would call great times at the dollar. But then I haven't had any bad times there either. I quite enjoy stopping in to relax and have a beer from time to time. I certainly have never run into any unfriendly people there. Posted via Mobile Device
  21. I hadn't thought if it that way and it's true that everyone has their own tastes. However, isn't this entire board about opinion and couldn't the same arguments be made about recommendations?
  22. I'd have to give Lil Hottie the nod. Michelle really is sweet.
  23. OK maybe it's just me but I've been having a terrible time getting weekday morning appointments. It seem that most agencies don't know who is working until afternoon. I realize that most SPs will probably prefer to work nights but surely there is a daytime market also. For me it's just easier to get away in the morning and almost impossible at night. Maybe I'm too particular about who I see. I prefer spinners, I really don't trust CL and I only have access the downtown. Do any other cerbites prefer morning appointments? Which SPs are working AMs? 24. [ I think that there is one more thing you could have done. Once you got the call from the regular, you could have texted the first client and asked him to confirm right then and there. If you don't hear back from him, confirm with your regular. It's a bit of a tough call though. In any business you can't turn away a sure thing for a "maybe". I personally don't do the 'call back to confirm' thing unless asked to. I consider the appointment confirmed when I make the arrangements. Dabbler
