  1. There are lots of them here http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=125
  2. Very well said, research is your friend.
  3. I agree with most of what you say, both of my parents smoked and I had older siblings who smoked so it was inevitable for me to smoke too. I don't believe I craved cigarettes but I can't speak for you. Even though I lived in a smoking household I still had a hard time starting to smoke, well inhaling specifically. We used to tease the people who didn't inhale :) One confusing part of the post was the fact that you think cigarettes taste and smell horrible. I realize nicotine is addictive but I would think if you found the habit so distasteful it would be easier to quit. I'm not judging you, just a thought as I read your post.
  4. The reason I started smoking was peer pressure. It was indeed difficult to start smoking but my friends got me through it :) I haven't had a cigarette in over 20 years, one of the "good" decisions I made in my youth.
  5. Thai-Style Chicken & Rice Noodles, in a zesty peanut sauce. Frozen dinner from Smart Ones :)
  6. Check "the other board" before you take the plunge.
  7. I will keep to my theme, even if it is unpopular. It is a business transaction, it is not a gift to see an SP. She (or he) provides a service and I pay for that service. Because it is such an intimate service, respect on both parties is of particular importance. But it is in the end, a Business Transaction.
  8. Unless you are rude or disrespectful a lady will always want to see you again. Don't confuse business with personal, just because you click with a lady doesn't mean she wants a personal relationship with you. Take it for what it is and enjoy it, keep it real, the lady is a professional.
  9. The question was asked inappropriately but the OP wasn't exactly coming out of left field. I have been to agencies that offer discount/freebies after X amount of visits. I have never seen an Independent lady offer this, but the theory is not unheard of.
  10. Couldn't agree more, in fact I PM'd the Mod recently with a question about this situation.
  11. Yes I think we should, it might be helpful for current and future members. I could be wrong, but that is my opinion.
  12. I believe asking questions is a good thing, it is not disrespectful to ask a member why he or she is quitting this board. I, as an adult, can ask the question and the person who I am talking to can, as an adult, chose to respond or not respond. I did ask why WIT was quitting and actually I'm sorry I asked it WHERE I asked it. It was his thread to say goodbye and I shouldn't have said it there. If this is a board for ladies to advertise and men to recommend and that is all then that's fine, I really believe that people think it is more than that. It is a place to discuss sexual issues, personal issues, political issues mixed in with some fun stuff. The idea that one shouldn't ask questions just accept what is said is not an open way to have discussions. Of course if the questions are rude or disrespectful than that is a totally different situation. Maybe one of the reasons people are leaving is because open discussions are discouraged, one hint of disagreement and a thread is shut down.
  13. I definitely noticed that, there was a member who became a Goddess after 40 posts. I was wondering how many points you needed to become a God/Goddess and I noticed that when I got over 10,000 I became a God. You can see exactly how many rep points you have in your profile. (User CP)
  14. Did something change recently around rep points? I could be wrong but I thought once a member reached 10,000 rep points they became a God/Goddess? Now it seems only members over 100,000 have that status, which makes more sense really. Just wondering if I am mistaken or did something change.
  15. Something interesting about the 2 supplements, L-Argenine and Pycnogenol. http://www.nutritionexpress.com/showarticle.aspx?articleid=920
  16. Unfortunately the theme "If you don't have anything nice to say" doesn't apply to regions or cities. It hurts those of us who do see the touring ladies when bad things are said about where we live.
  17. I don't really know you WIT, seems you have a lot of people around here that have a lot of respect for you and will genuinely miss you. I would like to say a coupe of things that I think are on topic here. First, I have mixed feelings about CERB. The idea of positivity is of course a good one although I think the nature of this board sometimes stymies open discussion. I am a member on the "other board" and I would say it has more open discussions, however, there are so many rude and unkind things said to and about people that it is sometimes a place I would rather not visit. I will say being a member here has made me think twice about what I post there, have I ever said anything negative there? yes I have, but I do think about what I post before I submit it. I say these things because there is a lot of reading between the lines here on CERB when reading posts. I have heard about some controversy that happened here awhile back which resulted in some banned members and some members who decided to leave because of it. I wonder if something similar is happening with you now and I wonder if it's related to the quote from backrubman below. I don't even know what his quote means "taking a few punches", I'm assuming through PM's. If that is the case then that is bullying, which should not be tolerated. If open discussion is met by private bullying it certainly defeats the theme of this board, IMO. So maybe this is an opportunity to openly discuss why you are really leaving, maybe it could help others here and avoid another controversy. Of course if you would rather bow out quietly I understand that but it seems there is more to your post than what is written. Either way, take care and all the best to you.
  18. I hear alarm bells going off like crazy, it's hurting my ears.
  19. From what I read online there have been a couple of studies with varying results, it doesn't work for everyone but clearly it works for RG, guess others would have to try it for themselves to see if it works. Seems relatively low risk.
  20. Geez....I don't think you're listening to guy. He said his allergies were not life threatening, just annoying itching, runny nose etc. I haven't gone back and counted but I'm not so sure it's a given that most members think that he should have inquired about pets int he Hotel Room. He said this was a first for him, come on, cut the OP a break :) As far as "airing it on cerb" this is a place for discussions, he has said more than once that the SP was gracious, all he was doing was bringing up a potential issue other hobbyists may encounter. Honestly I don't think you are handling this as well as the lady who works for you did.
  21. There's lots of squirters here, just look around.
