  1. Congradulations Sabrina. You deserve it and the absolute best of luck in all your endeavoiurs. Feel free to share your success with us.
  2. The public is a scary, unpredictable creature. I can only imagine how tough it must be for some SPs when they meet a client for the first time, especially if that person begins to exhibit suspicous behaviour. Many of the ladies deserve even more respect for this. For any SPs doing incalls though, a suggestion. A pair of fully grown rottweilers named Lucifer and Cannibal should be present in the same domicile. They won't have to be mean, the mere sight of them will scare any potential idiots off.
  3. I haven't had the opportunity many others have but Bethany is outstanding.
  4. Are there guys who really think that the ladies will not try and make sure they post the best (albeit real) pics of themselves? This is their business so nobody should get upset if they use a little makeup or a touch of airbrush (key words are "little and "touch"). Men should also be responsible for doing their homework. I've had the privilige of meting a few gracious ladies since joining the CERB community and all three have been 100% genuine and true to their pics and their recommendations. Before I enjoyed the privilige of their company I researched what reputable members had to say. No reason anyone else can't do the same. CERB offers tremendous resources to potential customers and if you can't take the time to use them, well refer to Erin's rant on the modern student. And if your taken using CL, well, invest in some common sense if you can find a store that sells some. But for those who insist on wasting the ladies time by demanding additional pics to confirm their validity, perhaps the ladies should offer that, but at an additional charge? It may help weed out the jerks too many of you probably have to put up with. BTW, Sasha, Anessa and Angela, you have nothing to worry about. Anyone who doesn't need an extra breath or two after seeing your pics needs to check their pulse.
  5. A tip for Monk (sorry I didn't quote your question). I read the study in a science magazine several years (sorry, no link). From what I remember they used test groups of identical age and education levels and compared the results to those of their relevant test group from previous tests. Therefore everyone they were studying was the samw age (i.e. twenty five year olds from 1975 vs. twenty five year olds from 1985). They used the same criteria and parameters as well and after extensive surveys determined that the average vocabulary had actually been reduced (and many of the involved researchers theorized the same thing for IQ levels). As for cell phones and blackberries, I have nothing against them, I just don't like how they become the focus of so many users to the exclusion of everything else around them. That's it's illegal to use them while driving now, and Ontario is nowhere near the first place to do this.
  6. I don't think Erin deserves being accused of intolerance. Frustration yes, intolerance no. There are a lot fo younger people where I work and I admit to being frustrated by them on occasion as well. I don't think its the lack of knowledge (or experience) but the occasional self centred attitude. The sense of entitlement is a little frustrating as well (as Anessa mentioned when she spoke about a previous co-worker left work sick on a day she coincidentsally had tickets to a concert). And God forbid anyone should try to survive without their cell phone or blackberry. But in Erin's defense, I was reading a study not too long ago stating that the average North American's vocabulary has actually shrunk nearly 10 000 wordf in the past ten years. the same study aslo stated that the average IQ has also slid a little in the same period. Food for thought.
  7. I had the privilege to share time with Sabrina (aka GrassHopper) tonight and there are no words in my vocabulary to do the experience justice. She was very prompt and polite in her responses to my messages and even forgave me when I ran a few minutes late. I have hoobied for a few years, enjoying the company of several SPs on a regular basis but I experienced things tonight I had never dreamt of. Baby powder, an ice cube, a feather, toys and a glass of milk-there were times I didn't know if I was going to survive. Afterwards we chatted and I was completely comfortable. Treat Grass Hopper with respect and dignity-she deserves it and her company is a definite honour.
  8. And explorer69 probably deserves more than a few cards as well. I don't think I can guess how money you guys saved some potential CERB members.
  9. WOW. I think the MOD should now officially be on everyone's Christmas card list. Seems he's got everyone's back and we should be plenty grateful for his (and other members) vigilance.
  10. I echo one of the previous posts. I have never even entertained the idea of asking for a discount. I guess these "men" aren't smart enough to grasp the fact that an SP's company is a privilege. I hope all the ladies here know that they are truly valued and respected, and you probably all deserve to hear it more often than you already do.
  11. Just curious if anyone could tell me if if Sheena de Janeiro still performs at Pigale's. She's a riot. Thanks
  12. Cool. Like I said, I was just hoping she was okay. Thanks
  13. I was out of town for a few weeks and perhaps I missed something. I had corresponded with Pretty Paige shortly before leaving about visiting her but I noticed her website is down and I haven't seen her post here for a little while. is she okay? Nothing bad happened to her or anything I hope. Testing the grapevine. Thanks
  14. Wow. I can't express how sorry I am you've had to endure such nonsense. It's such a shame that so many good women are subjected to such raw idiocy.
  15. Your right Angela, but I don't think there would be very many arguments I could use to convince her otherwise. She was telling me that the culture in New York is completely different. Drugs, money and casual sex. I would much rather she (or any escort) not spend any time with someone strung out, but I guess it's sort of like trying to convince someone to quit smoking; if they don't see the problem they're not motivated to change it.
  16. I used to visit Celine at Bodycare as well. So can I take this to mean she's back after about a year or so?
  17. Telling this story is mostly for my perosnal amusement but hopefully a few others get a kick out of it too. An SP I see on a faily regular basis was telling me that she occassionally ventures south of the border where she works for a reputable agency. She was telling me that some of the clients were big into drugs and my protective instincts went into overdrive. In the end she was able to convince me that her agency kept her safe and sound. It's ironic since shortly after I left her apartment I heard this screaming through the door all the way down the hallway. I went racing back and hammered on the door, my imagination getting the worst of me (she shares the apartment with another SP and I was terrified there was a guy in there doing God knows what). Turns out the other SP in the room owned a snake and surprised my preferred SP with it. Guess she got my heart racing twice tonight. Like I said, no point but I had to tell somebody.
  18. Maybe Canada should follow the American lead and prevent .......... from offering Erotic Services? I know that sounds pretty extreme but from I've gathered on CERB, heard in the news and observed myself, the erotic services portion seems to be more trouble than it's worth. I just read about sexyKayla21's problems (thread's on the Schedule portion under the "Why Can't We Play Fair" heading-actually maybe Cowboy Kenny could offer her some advice?) and it seems like CL is a haven for pimps and thugs who should never be in business. I would like to hear some SP's thoughts on it.
  19. I've been very lucky not to have been caught in one of those situations. I only trust information from CERB now. I have checked out CL, mostly out of curiosity and it screams sketch city. I have noticed that some of the girls that are advertised on CERB are on there as well but I like I said, CERB is my true source of information.
  20. Without passing judgement on Miss Landry, it's nice to see Canada Revenue get screwed for a change. It should be interesting to see how her lawsuit against them goes.
  21. Your frustration and your angr is totally justified and I can only imagine how upset you, as a legitimate, self determined worker is the sex industry truly is. The stigma surrounding prostitution is the work of centuries of political propaganda and unfortunately can't be slain be in our lifetimes. What people don't seem to understand is that the best way to protect women who are either the victims of trafficing, abuse or forced into prostitution at an illegal age is to legalize the sex trade. That way a set of guidelines can be adopted to protect the women (and men) who choose to work in the sex trade, preventing the kind of abuse and exploitation that happens. It can also curb drug abuse and the spread of STDs (as proven by the European countries where prostitution is leagal). There are so many advantages to legalizing prostitution (economic, social, health) that you have to wonder why no one has seriously championed it. And that boils down to money. Politicans are guided by two things, money and the polls. No social or political change is ever affected without a wealthy lobby backing it. If special interest groups representing Gay and Lesbains had the resources to own the right politicans, same sex marriage would be legal in the United States. The same for legalization of marijuana and other harmless drugs (while the same governments that outlaw such immaterial substances rake in billions of dollars from the taxes on tobacco and alchohol products as well as hypocritical lawsuits because of the public health problems such products cause). Prostitution needs a lobby to promote the advantages of legalizing it while purchasing the necessary politcal voices to represent it in the halls of power. At the same time, said lobby can advance a sort of education campaign trying to dispell the incorrect myths around the industry as well as condemning the illegal activites like trafficing and underage exploitation. This would even include offering to work with police to report such conduct and counsel victims afterwards 9instead of simply deporting them to a country where chances are women are considered second class citizens or porperty). It's an uphill battle that would take an incredbile amount of courage to fight, let along money and the knowledge that for every small victory there would be a dozen defeats. But I wish you luck in your efforts and hope you can stand true. One piece of advice though, if you wind up talking to any politician for any reason, don't trust a single word that comes out of their mouth unless you've made a sizeable campaign donation. And even then . . .
  22. I visited Bethany this afternoon and can't say enough. Friendly, lovely, genuine, able to put your nerves at ease and that's not including her sensual massage, which is an experience in and of itself. Definitely recommend.
  23. Terribly sorry to hear about your loss. Take care of yourself.
  24. Fairly new here but I felt I needed to vent about something. I have had the opportunity to enjoy the company of several escorts and have had mostly positive experiences. I also try and keep to one or two SPs on a regular basis and have found that they are respectful, courteous and polite when treated with respect. however, they all have several horror stories about some men not treating them with respect. This is inexcusable. These ladies are doing their customers a favour and their company is a privilege. And until what they do is recognized by the law, they are quite often taking chances. I could write an entire novel on this and I realize I'm probably preaching to the converted on this site but i felt I had to vent. Thanks.:-x
  25. I felt that AngelEyes deserved another one. I have had the pleasure of her company twice now and the second time was even better than the first. All anyone needs to know is that she is a beautiful young woman who will show you respect in return for the respect she is due. Her patience is almost as endearing as her eyes. She even took the time to explain some acronyms to me I didn't understand (still don't know all of them). In short, she is simply outstanding.
