  1. Be sure when you do contact a lady and request "what is on the menu" that you do it tactfully and respectfully! It would be best not to ask this question in your initial email. You will have the best results by starting an adult conversation and leaving out such details until later conversations. Remember most "first dates" with an SP are not finalized in your initial contact.
  2. I can not believe that these things occur in the company of others! It is one thing for us guys to be at home or a bar watching the game and belching, etc. After all boys will be boys. BUT there are situations that require more respect and tact. One of these particular situations would be when you are with the lady of your choice. I can not speak for others but when I am seeing a lady I ALWAYS prepare myself the same way I would if I were going out with my SO...actually no, now that I am married I prepare myself better for the SP's. Anyway, it says a lot about yourself to be well mannered and well groomed. As the saying goes "you never get a second chance to make a good first impression!"
  3. Mmm obvious mood killers: Phones, stretch marks, dirty location, baby toys in other room, smell of smoke, phones, "are you done," no shower facility, phones, constanly looking at her watch, waiting at the door while she unlocks 7 locks....SEVEN! Phones, being late/leaving early. Oh and my personal favorite as I pull into the driveway her BF leaving with a baby...honestly! Yeah I hate phones ringing!
  4. I too feel this way. There is no greater stimulant than the final walk down the hallway of the particular ladies hotel toward her room. As Scott has pointed out if I am a repeat offender I am excited because I know what waits for me on the other side of the door. If I have never seen the lady before I am equally excited for the unknown. I always make sure that I am calm, cool and collected. You do not want to be knocking on the door in any sort of agitated state. Body language usually says more than oral language. As for personal prep work I always: Shave all pertinent areas, shower, style my hair, brush my teeth and dress in a "date appropriate" fashion. Guys when you see someone treat it as as date or an evening out with your SO. Leave the ball hats and gym pants at home! Lastly have be honest and have fun!
  5. I don`t mind talking about your outfits. Tell us all about them....;-)
  6. Just wondering what else you plan on packing????;-)
  7. For me it depends on the time of the year. I travel more in the spring, summer and fall therefore I hobby more as well. Curious...a Halifax SP told me once that she is less busy in the summer than the other seasons. She explained it as most guys are on vacation and home with the family during these months. I wonder if this is true for any of the other ladies?
  8. ... they named it San Diego ... which of course in German means a whale's vagina ... From Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy
  9. Make sure you take it (the new outfit) to PEI with you....
  10. Glen Quagmire: Awww right, GIGGITY, GIGGITY,GIGGITY!
  11. Ladies, I have been curious about this now for some time and I am wondering if you could shed some light on the topic. We all know what Cerb is about, generally men recommending ladies...correct? Guys providing details on dates, particular services, what the ladies do/don't do, physical appearance, etc. Add to that ladies advertising themselves and their services telling us all about themselves and their abilities...are you still following me? Ok, this brings me to the reason of this post. Ladies what would Cerb or any other site, etc. be like if it were the guys marketing themselves to the ladies? What would you, the ladies, like to see on the "new male escort" profiles? Would you read endless recommendations about male SP's? Would you view the guys pictures in anticipation for your date? Would you pay an extra donation for DATY? What would this board be if the roles were completely opposite? I wonder what the recommendation checklist would look like if it were geared toward women about men...mmm. Some of the questions may read: Body hair...yes and how thick? Love handles...how many 2, 3, 4? Number of chins? Sandals with or without white socks? I wonder if any of the Cerb ladies would respond to an add that read: "Hunky Harry Ottawa construction worker offering in/out BFE during February!" Possibly I am wrong but I don't think I am. So ladies offer some input here and lets have a laugh or two. The board has been fairly serious lately lets try to lighten things up.
  12. Emily I have a feeling and this is just my belief but I believe that it depends on the person sending the email. I would think that the more mature members of Cerb or anyone viewing an independant or agency website will take the time to thoroughly read the text as well as view the pictures. Having said that, the profile picture of any particular lady will catch your eye before anything else. If she is attractive to you then you will start to browse the website, profile, etc. and read about her preferred method of contact, rates, reference requirements and services offered/not offered. As I have already stated I believe more mature clients will take the time to view everything about the lady. Less mature people probably are more attracted to pictures and certain "key words" in the profile as opposed to personality, character, etc. Certainly maturity does not equate age. I know some 40 year olds who are quite immature for their age. Consequently I know some 20 year olds who are far beyond their years mentally. I believe it to be a matter of respect to the lady you are contacting to abide by her wishes concerning contact, references, etc. After all if it is alright for the male to contact the female in any manner he chooses the same argument could be made for the female to contact the male in anyway she chooses. Basically what I am saying is in order to keep things professional and discreet there are certain unwritten rules which should go without saying. So read before you type and abide by the ladies wishes. How would you like to deal with endless questions, comments that you have already taken the time to address in your profile.
  13. I see absolutely no issue in providing my Cerb handle to a lady. In fact I find the more info. you offer in your opening email conversation the better. If I offer my name, handle, a brief description of myself, preferred method of contact and the fact that I have references available upon request I find I have no issues contact wise with that lady. I have and never will offer my last name or home phone number but have no issues with the other listed info. I do disagree with you in that almost every lady I have seen has asked for a reference. Of course every lady is different and therefore have different standards, etc. I figure if I know her Cerb handle, age, what she looks like, etc. it is only fair to offer the same.
  14. "Are you Master of your Domain?" "I am King of the County. You?" "Lord of the Manor." "I'm Queen of the castle!" - Jerry, George and Elaine, in "The Contest" and from Family Guy: Social worker: "Glen honey, I got a question for you. What do you do for a living? Quagmire: "I got a question for you. Why are you still here?"
  15. To me this goes without saying. References are and should be the norm! We (the guys) do our homework sort of speak. We research a ladies reviews, access her website, and gather as much information as we can about someone we wish to see. Why would the opposite be any different? Safety for all is paramount be it physical (violence, etc.) or sexual (use of condoms). Seeing a lady for the first time is just like a job interview be prepared with references in hand! You might be surprised if when you first contact her simply state in your email that "references are available upon request." This lets her know you are serious and not wasting time. It also may take some of the akwardness out of her having to ask for them.
  16. Homer Simpson to Marge after successfully completing a thirty day AA course: "Marge send the kids to the neighbours, i'm comin' back loaded!"
  17. It seems to me Emma that this woman has no character to begin with and it speaks to the level of your character that you have taken the high road on this matter. I am not so sure if I were in this situation that I would be as "professional" as you! I don't pretend to speak for anyone other than myself but I believe all the men of Cerb will support me in saying that if you leave we are all diminished! Further to that if you leave SHE wins and that is a definite loss for all of us (SP's and Hobbyist alike)! So please you and Emily continue to shine a light of respect for us all to follow! I believe that between you and Emily no one has done so much to bring respect and credibility to this industry in The Maritimes!
  18. Cerb or should I say we have already lost a great lady in Amelia for previously stated reasons. Emma has returned to Ottawa. Emily is being treated far below her level of class. So my question is who's next? If things continue to deteriorate that is the question that is facing us the men of this board. Who is next to leave? Is this a question that YOU look forward to answering...I don't! If the staus quo continues The Atlantic portion of Cerb will look very similar to CL. A glorified low end, low class, faceless and potentially dangerous personals board. I say no thank you! So please can we all take a step back and assess the situation calmly and rationally as adults should. This school yard bull s**t MUST stop! We (SP's and Hobbyist) are lucky to have this board as a tool and as a service provided to us freely and safely! The SP and Hobbyist relationship is truly symbiotic, one can not survive without the other! So ladies and gentlemen when you slander or degrade you are either impeding your past time (Hobbyist) or damaging your business and therefore your financial situation (SP)! Not to mention this behaviour is simply beyond childish and quite frankly pathetic. So let us rectify the situation and move on in something resembling an adult manner!
  19. As do we...we all rely on each others information and insight. Even if you are an "irregular hobbyist" as you put it that does not mean you have not seen a lady whom I have not. Post any and all positive recos. this will only better this community!
