I have been increasingly concerned that the discussion in the massage section may lead to problems for the providers.

Especially the places that do other salon services.

Escorts control their phone and location.

Massage parlors such as bw, to/eb, Nevada's all have specific licenses

but when the place is catering to a whole other clientele for other services I really think we need to keep our conversation much more vague.

Some providers are students and I really worry that too much publicity through this review board could have negative implications for them.

We have been in my humble opinion too free to identify some locations

Although we have to be members o be on here it is not difficult to join.

Our identity is very protected but some providers of massage can be left exposed by these conversations

I see a big difference in what we should discuss depending on how the provider advertises

I wholeheartedly agree with you! There are certain people who love to flap their gums and make innuendos in their comments. They do not realize the potential consequences such comments may cause given the new laws.

 

Discretion is a must in the current environment.

I agree as well but how do we control this? I know for myself I try to only answer through PM to other members that I normally share info with or has in the past helped me out, as soon as you post PM me if you need you are bombarded with PM's from members that have very few posts, its really a catch 22 but I know we need to find a better mousetrap to help protect these places.

Massage parlors such as bw, to/eb, Nevada's do have a license but the licenses that are given allow them to provide massage services as non RMT's nothing more, so even discussing anything beyond that has the same affect as for any other place we discuss.

 

The purpose of the board is for information which means if we don't talk about places other than a select few, which again become open to debate of where it is ok and not ok to talk about, then people stop providing information or we go the PM route and then start the private massage list like we had a few years ago which was just as ineffective.

 

This is not a risk free activity for provider or participant, if you are worried about the public implications really its time to stop going or providing, we can't try to white knight it. We still must always be discrete but that can be done without always providing full details.

The best example of lack of discretion for me are those who for whatever reason seek out legit RMT's and then look for or hope for a little extra and then talk about it on these boards. Stupid is as stupid does.

Perhaps a special section only accessable to people with a history of good on topic posts where the rules on identifying are a little looser?

 

Initially limited to a very select few and then additional members who meet a post count and nomination criteria ( have a provider vouch for them perhaps) and then stand for election to the area might allow for free exchange of information while protecting the providers?

 

Might also serve as incentive to some posters to makle more positive contributions to the site as well.

Still seeing a lot of comments stating WHO is giving extras and that sort of thing.

 

I still remember a thread of those posting (insert name) giving HE and then a couple of weeks later everyone wondering where she is. She was no longer there. If everyone showed more discretion when discussing these type of activities at places that also run legitimate services, you would find that the ladies won't get fired so often.

I think, if the women (or men, I suppose) providing these sorts of things, go to such great lengths to be discrete, keeping things very quiet... then the least anyone else who goes to them should be expected to do... is offer the same discretion, stop blabbing your mouths off, you have no idea what devastation it may bring to someone in their private/work life.

I have wonderful friends who do just that, and have successfully for years, with nobody knowing or being harmed in any way at all... now I see names of businesses flashed all over the place.

How would it be if these women went to your wives, your friends/co-workers and told them details of your activities on here (or in the bath houses) - come on people, a bit of tact really isn't that hard to muster up

One thing that can mislead newcomers is that some regulars who see a mp more than 5 times actually become a client or more so a friend with her and naturally she treats them different and may give them "special treatment". Saying someone gave you a GREAT HE , usually will not apply to the first timer. Putting (your mileage may vary) is kind of vague if you ask me, and a first timer may not even understand your mileage may vary.

don't think this section is a joke... it's meant to find places that offer the services that men already *are* willing to pay for....

only 'issue' is people not using proper discretion when speaking of a place that is a 'legitimate' therapy business that may offer 'fun things' on the side.... a bit of common sense and tact is usually not that difficult ;)

I had been looking forward to seeing a massage provider that I very much enjoy seeing. I am not going to get into details because I don't want to make situation worse.

Basically the provider will no longer do massage because they were socially humiliated when her peers found out where she worked they confirmed on an internet forum that it was a place that performed the kind of massage many of us look for.

Selfishly I feel bad about myself not being able to enjoy time with this provider.

But the more I think about how this person must have felt in that situation I just feel sick to my stomach. that poor girl. no good tip can make up for that.

Look. if someone advertises on an escort site then its pretty obvious what we are all talking about. if we talk about BP body rub section then you can probably make a judgment call. But for businesses that advertise massage on things like the buy and sell sight then maybe we need to start being a little more careful. one clue is if there are other health and beauty services going on in the same business maybe they won't want the name of their business advertised on a forum. private forum. no its not anyone can sign up a view all the stuff we post.

I suggested it before and will again. When in doubt as to heather a provider would want you reviewing them on here. Ask her first.

I've been saying this over and over again. Please,,,(I Beg You) ,,for those that choose to disclose the "details", of someone who is trying to be discrete, it always backfires "in the ladies face and will never be good". So, unless she is OPENLY advertising her services, please be discrete. I know it's like you want to do the "locker room brag", but online, it is devastating. The internet lasts forever. EXACTLY!! it's even in the 'rules' section for this site... names/addresses/phone numbers of MPs are to be kept PRIVATE message only...I read that my first day on here..... and yet... thread after thread....not only listing the girls names... but full addresses and things... like the hair salon *I* flipped out about when someone posted about it on here..... whether these sorts of fun things are available there or not... discretion is an absolute...unwavering *must*... as most of us are in 'legit' businesses... and this our only job...... one wrong word in the wrong place... poof......gone is all the fun.....

I wasn't referring to any situation where anyone intelligent would try and claim the massage. Many places that provide health and beuty services also provide a relaxation massage Only an idiot would try and claim this on their health benefits. Even if it is a non extra massage

There a few places where the person doing the massage has given a little extra obviously for the reason of getting a good tip. I don't think those situations they wanted the name and address of the business advertised in here. If so they would have advertised on BP instead of kijiji
