So,

 

I don't post a lot. Actually, I think I've only posted once before. I lurk though. Usually anonymously. Sometimes while logged in. There's something I've been thinking of mentioning for awhile though.

 

T(ing)OFTT.

 

I seem to do this a lot. By a lot, I mean most of the time. Unfortunately - I don't think I've ever had the opportunity to report anything back to Cerb. I'll see an AD somewhere else, decide it's good - maybe wonder why there hasn't been any mention on Cerb - think to myself I'll TOFTT and go. So, I go. And have a terrible time.

 

Reasons why I have a bad time are fairly typical I think.

Fake photos, fake age, fake weight, fake info, clock watching, unpleasant attitude, rude behaviour, unsanitary apartment/hotel room. Standard complaints, I'm assuming? I also seem to find complaints regarding what we're going to do. I'd like to mention I am fairly simple. I'm not interested in Greek, DATY, MSOG, FK, or anything BB, etc. but happen upon those who will not participate in activities such as CBJ, Doggy, GOT, and so on.

 

That said, I have had many positive experiences. Mostly through recommendations here. Some of them are from those who advertise elsewhere (CL, HTE, HHM, etc.) but those positive experiences all came with a recommendation on Cerb.

 

Here is where the Mostly in the last paragraph comes in, and my big reason for making this post to begin with. While travelling, everyone that I have called has been from sources other than Cerb. Usually, without a lot of info. A phone number from the yellow pages, the first link on Google for a given city, an AD from a club somewhere, etc. I'm essentially always TOFTT on the road because it's always a spur of the moment thing, and I'm sort of overwhelmed by all of the choices I don't know where to begin. Yet, I have always lucked out.

 

I've yet to have been shown a fake photo. I was once quoted a weight of 145lbs and I was expecting someone fairly large. My guess would be they were closer to 140! I have yet to find someone with a poor attitude, who watches the clock, and it's usually me turning down activities instead of the other way around.

 

I know there are bad experiences to be had out there elsewhere in the country/the world, but I've found that my experiences at TOFTT via CL, CH, CO, EC, and the YP in Halifax have ALL have been negative - with the exception of those recommended or mentioned on Cerb.

 

Which is why, (and I am mostly posting this for myself), that if you're in Halifax - I strongly suggest you stick with Cerb. I haven't had a negative experience after visiting a Cerb recommendation. I wish I would stick with this place to begin with! CL is bad. Cerb is good.

 

See someone on CL? Don't see a recommendation here? There *may* be a good reason why you don't. Some of us may have already TOFTT but didn't have anything to report back. Obviously this isn't always the case, there may be some great people out there who nobody here has happened to mention! I'll hopefully be able to resist anything on CL, CH, etc. from now on though unless I see a mention here first.

I would encourage you to let us know about your positive experiences with Cerb ladies, too! You can do this by adding your voice to the recommendation threads of each lady (with content that both you and the lady are comfortable with). This is one excellent way to support Cerb, and to support the ladies who help make Cerb the great place that it is. Note that while the ladies you have had good experiences with may already have a string of good recos, this in no way means that a new perspective or update is not useful! It helps and encourages both the ladies and their prospective clients.

My .......... experiences have been hit or miss, generally leaving me feeling like I didn't quite get my money's worth. My one CERB experience so far was amazing, she was a Garden of Eden escort and she was amazing. The reason I am replying is the one exception to my .......... experiences. Emily_new_22 on cl in halifax is great, real sweet, lots of fun. Her friend friend (Kelie) complained of getting banned or kicked off of CERB. I saw emily on here the other day but now I can't find her, I am just wondering if any of the senior members might know why. Anyway, if you're in Halifax, I think Emily_new_22 on cl is more than worth the price of admission.

(One possible scenario: If one member (K.) was banned, and if that member's friend (E.) then used the same computer to log onto Cerb as had the banned member, then the friend (E.) would immediately be under suspicion of being the banned member trying to sneak back on under a different name. Just one possible situation.)

It seems to me that you have been on receiving end for a long time on cerb so I wouldlike to echo what my friends already have said above that also please share your good experiences with cerbites and that makes your experience a TOFTT (Taking for the TEAM).

Which Victoria? There has been one on CL for a while I wanted to try. Her ads have been around for a few months, about 20yrs old and 140lbs, south end. Recently another Victoria has been posting ads, sometimes on the same day. Same age but much slimmer and different pic. I'm a little weary of the young thin brunette ads on CL due to a certain former CERB member who had gone through a few names on CL.

Getting kicked off of CERB takes a deliberate effort on the part of a lady. MOD is fair about giving warnings re posts etc. One thing that will result in a ban is an unwillingness to confirm legal age if the issue comes up. This is YOUR responsibility. Just because a girl is on CERB doesen't mean she is of legal age. If MOD receives a warning from a client that a certain SP may be underage MOD will ask the SP to confirm age. Fake photos or bait and switch are also not tolerated and usually result in immediate suspension (though MOD makes the ultimate decision).

 

In the winter there was a case of suspected underage girls in HFX who got kicked off of CERB. Not saying this girl you mention is the same one but if you are unsure about age YOU need to verify it. Getting caught with an underage girl will ruin your life, so if you have any doubt run like hell.

 

In the end it is ALWAYS UP TO YOU to confirm age regardless of what MOD may or may not have done about this. It will be no defense in court to say "I call MOD as a witness"

In a post I made describing various experiences that were ok and those that were the best. I mentioned a lady named "Victoria" as being not thge best but an OK experience. It was an error on my part and I do apologize to you, VJ. It was in fact a different Victoria. I have actually never seen Vic Jolie (believe me, if I saw anyone that HOT I'd remember).

However, as Cerb is a recommendation board, even though I essentially TOFTT - I had nothing to report back through my experiences on CL and CH and the like. So, I did try, but there was nothing positive to write about. And no recommendation.

 

That being said - I apparently haven't learned my lesson re my original post (in sticking with Cerb, over other sites). Maybe one day I'll get the hint.

All excellent and valid points but keep in mind that not all ladies who are on the former CL, etc. are "bad." Some newer ladies, and even some well established ones, use other sites as well as Cerb for varying reasons. I admit that I consider Cerb to be the gold standard but I have, and still do frequent other sites. I will be the first to say that if the lady is a member of Cerb it does for some reason put my spidey sense at ease but not being a member of Cerb doesn't preclude me from seeing someone. It does however require me to do a little bit more research and Q & A. There are two recommendations I have posted over the years for ladies who, at the time, were not Cerb members. Thankfully I had the chance to meet them and now they are members here on the gold standard board.

 

Long of the short don't put all of your eggs in one basket...just in case you drop it.
