Mileage

Recommended Posts

Not saying that it happens all the time. Early in the new year, it happened right under the freakin camera, it was crazy... I stuck up for her on another site, and had known her for years....

Discretion is the better part of valour and perhaps I have said too much. Regulars know what dancers are "open minded". Usually, when they take a guy to the CR, they do not come back for quite a while.

BTW, I never experienced anything close to FS at the Den - I never really go there...

The problem is other dancers - obviously they won't make any money...

I know that many of the regular girls at pigales do not appreciate the girls that come in an offer extras at the club because they find it hard to compete. The regular girls want a level playing field with the same rules for all girls. However, money talks!

Not to hijack the thread, but I couldn't help ruminate on what used to be "normal" for high mileage over the years and how things have changed. When I first started going to clubs in the 70s, high mileage was if the girl winked at you from the stage :).

As table dances became common, maybe the girl brushing her boobs against you would be considered high mileage (by the standards of the day).

Once lap dances were invented (hallelujah), a hard grind was high mileage.

It seems we have now progressed to FS in clubs.

By next decade, if trends continue, I'm guessing we'll be into group sex, lol.

Hahaha!!! This is a good one too, I remember those days as well and agree 100%, who knows what is next,

Also agree that SPs are the better way to go!

Just my two cents worth.

I guess this is where i disagree with you all about the sp thing. Oddly, I find being with an sp almost anti-climactic as there is no pursuit/chase or mystery. You pay for sex...you get sex.

Going to a strip club is a challenge. I go, eyeball some girls, choose one (or more) go to the cr and see what happens. While there are some girls that i know and therfore know what the mileage will be, there are many I don't know. Taking one of them into the cr and testing the waters is like a seduction for me.

I have been with dancers that were considered by most as low-mileage, but they were willing to strech their boundaries with me because of good chemistry (and $$$ I'm thinking). That gives me satisfaction tht I can't get from an sp.

Don't get me wrong, I also go to sp's, but only when I know exactly what i want, how much I want to spend and the mystery of the chase is not important to me that day.

my 2 cents (hundreds of dollars, actually)

To answer the original question of the thread here is my ranking of Ottawa/Gatineau strip bars in terms of mileage only (not girls, or environment or service or stage, just mileage alone)

1 - Taboo (especially daytime)

2 - Pigale

3 - Playmates (especially daytime)

4 - Nuden (I only tried Saturday and to my pleasant surprise it was relatively high mileage then even with open CRs).

5 - Barbs (relatively low mileage, after the open CRs was introduced).

Not sure about Barefax where it fits in the ranking (haven't been there for a couple of years). Likely it ranks between 3 and 5 somewhere. The other two bars at Gatineau (Club 77 and Le Pink) have the lowest mileage (club 77 weekday time may have relatively fair mileage).

PS - No FS in any of above bars.

Yes, as a complimentary comment, strip bars are great for those who love variety and are not FS concentric (that is moving from one girl to another. I have been with 15 different girls in just a few hours :D and that is very heavenly for me while I was there). That is how heaven must be (in my definition) where there are beautiful semi nude young girls coming to you and asking you to take them back there all alone so that they can get all nude and you can touch and kiss them lol. My only problem, when I come home and the heavenly time is over I am all hot and blue and all my nerves are on fire. And with an empty Wallet as a result of heavenly time and unable to call for an escort lady:(..... well you get the picture. Best to divide the wallet evenly between the SC and escort for the night. The combo is my prescription to be relieved from work week stresses lol.

Remember the song - No matter what the stripper says there is no sex in the Champaign room lol :), unless you happen to be around Montreal, but yet again the risk is higher than my comfort level lol.

I've heard the same (and more) from many "full time" dancers trying to make an honest living from their work. And there are still expectations from individuals that since one works as a dancer, you're also doing more... A dancer i frequented during the winter was asked repeatedly during the same night if she escorted.

Not to seem like buzkill on this topic, but I thought the thing about watching dancers and spending time in the CR with dancers was all about the arousal and titillation. Understandably we all know the envelope gets pushed ... be that as it may, in the quest for high mileage (as consensual at it might be) it should be remembered that one places oneself, the dancer, the establishment, the other employees into disrepute if LE drops in unannounced.

Hi Cerbites:

I need to make a brief clarifications on my post last page (because of PMs I received this morning I realized my post may have been misunderstood), the ranking for strip bars in my post last page was based on mileage only (as related to this thread). If you would like to know the ranking (in my view) for Ottawa/Gatineau strip bars in terms of all factors (Beautiful girls, services, environment, stage, mileage, friendliness, .....) please refer to the following two links:

I can see the thrill of the chase' date=' but not the selection/choice because the vast majority of dancers will not perform FS in the club. The ones who will usually do it outside of the club and only for regulars.[/quote']

If a dancer provides FS to a customer, but outside the club, isn't that also a bit of a competitive disadvantage for other dancers?

BTW, 100th post. :)

Solely on the competition aspect, I would suspect it's relative .... A client sees a dancer on a regular fashion to the exclusion of others for a while, trust ensues and said dancers offers FS outside the club at one point. This doesn't change things much as the client's business goes solely to one dancer anyway.

It changes things in my mind on that topic when a dancer "uses" the club to promote her SP facet first and foremost. It removes business to the club and dancers (i.e. in business it would be called something like unfair business practice, like colluding on prices). Not only that, using a club as a base of operations to do that, well a number of issues could arise with management and LE ...

Regardless, it's a hot topic as you'll have varying points of view on the topic among clients and dancers.

Addendum: There was an interesting thread on the topic of private dancing and i think some points are valid here as well, points made by MeGan'sTouch, not on competition per se but implications of offering FS.

This has been an interesting thread.

I agree about the ranking in terms of mileage and also the comments about preferring SP's if one is looking for more "meaningful" time.

I would also add a caution. My experience is that a dancer who has provided higher mileage seems to expect that the customer will return to her when she is in. She may go so far as to let the other dancers know to stay away. I have seen this same "ownership" in other cities too.

I can see that happening. But the sense of "ownership" is not limited to wether or not higher mileage is provided. The business being competitive, even if you move from one that you spent time with (i.e. seeing a lady a few times), you'll get a reaction.

I do not like talking about mileage cause it is strictly a YMMV thing.

some girls, at some time may have more fun. not always. sooo I leave it at that

I also do not like the idea of mentioning specific clubs and/or individual dancers in case LE surveils this board, and other dancers could complain to management and/or civic officials and/or LE.. The ladies expect discretion.

That happens whether you've gotten higher mileage or not.

before i go into the cr with any lady , i always invite her to sit with me , offer to buy her a drink and chat with her awhile first . i want to know if this is someones company i will enjoy regaurdless of how beautiful she may be . as far as mileage goes i believe it is all about the connection you have with the lady . whether that connection is immediate or built over time , the more comfortable [ trust ] the lady is with you , the more enjoyable the time together will be .

I disagree. I've spent a huge amount of time over several years with one dancer at the Nuden (an extremely low-mileage club), and our connection and comfort level is very good, but mileage is extremely low and I suspect will remain so until she leaves the business.

Nuden (an extremely low-mileage club)

I disagree with this. It's one of the lower-mileage clubs in the city, but generally speaking, I've danced at most clubs in Ottawa and they generally all offer the same thing.

There is some variety with clubs in Ottawa, but not much. Ottawa is pretty middle-ground in terms of mileage.

"High mileage" is more of a dancer-specific thing than a club-specific thing, from my experience. Ie. I didn't become a high-mileage girl when I went to Bare Fax, nor did I tone down the mileage when I went back to Nu Den. Girls change clubs all the time and their dances seem to stay the same.

That's true, the Nu Den isn't all that much different from other clubs within the City of Ottawa working under the same bylaw, so it really isn't correct to call it "low mileage" in relation to the other clubs. I guess this debate lives on because we're right on the Quebec border.

It's always an interesring debate, mileage in clubs, many factors to consider; client expectations if what mileage is, location of club - ottawa bylaws vs quebec clubs, the dancers themselves, not counting clubs that are in small towns and are considers "FS clubs", how management runs the place, etc....

It also seems to come and go in waves. Some clubs seem to thigthen the reins for a while and then let go. It's a strange dynamic i find, hearing things about the clubs from dancers, the demands, the offers, etc... It's a debate that will go on for a while, akin to seeking the pot o' gold at the end of the rainbow. It's intereting to read the comments though....

I've worked in a low-mileage club and you'd get kicked out if put your hand on the dancer's hip. Seriously.

Ottawa used to be like that in the bad old days. Am I ever glad things have progressed substantially over the course of my "career" as a strip club aficionado! :)

First of all, i wish to thank everyone who has posted on this thread for your responses. I dod not expect so many.

I must say that, after reading all of you, mileage is relative and dancer specific. This is what I learned from experience also. It all depends on the girl and, to some extent, on the club location, whether it be Ontario or Quebec.

At the end of the day, I do not think I would personally go for FS in a club; it would seem so weird and awkward. Whatever interaction happens must be ok and comfortable between both partners.

Finally, I have had many encounters in SCs and the mileage has been very different from one girl to another. Am I correct? or am I totally out to lunch?

I would agree with your conclusion. It's basically my experience. I do not see the dancers i see for "High mileage", but because we enjoy each others company as well, and it's different with each i've interacted with.

I don't see it so much as the thrill of the chase, but the thrill of the choice! Money to spend, but you must choose wisely. Good dancers define "mileage" by how long the CR trip lasts. And I willingly accept the terms, limits and boundaries. But rule #1 is never start the meter with the song that started 2 minutes before we've even arrived in the CR.
