Ftn40 824 Report post Posted November 2, 2011 Been to the Dollar many times, since I live in the West End. Good to pop by there on Friday for the steak lunch special. The chef there is really good. Tries some tasty combinations of flavours, not just the usual fare. And they pulled up the dirty carpet and put down tile, replaced the chairs with no cushioning and dolled up the bathrooms. All in all, not a bad place, and always a good chance to meet some interesting pleasant beautiful women. Wow the outside of it looks like a hell hole...but don't judge a book by it's cover its really not that bad inside. Clean seating area, clean bathrooms and a small bar. The CR is really open to main area especially the pool players. So I'm guessing the bulk of dances are clean (which should be fine for the avg SC hobbyist). Like most guys say the SC is made by the dancers inside. I can't comment too much on the night scene, since there was only a few girls working in the afternoon. One of which was Kesha, who was young but a seasoned vet and have danced through out southern ontario. Petite, very pretty brunette with very nice pair of man-mades. (she's not on cerb) Overall, I think it's a nice place for some casual hanging out with a few buddies and to grab some food (most of the guys there were eating and talking to the cook). I must say though, they are really doing themselves a miservice by either not having a website or having one that no one can find. Without this cerb community any passer by would not know about this SC. I'm not talking about a mega website with profiles and links to porn. Just a basic page with the address and hours of operation. Barefax had one, but it was never updated and is gone now. However, they are on Twitter, http://twitter.com/#!/barefaxclub, so there are Tweets every week or so. Pigale's has one, http://www.pigale.com, but I don't know how often it is updated. Barbarella's has one, http://www.barbarellas.ca, but I don't think it is ever updated. Abnout the only one I can say is updated with any regularity is http://www.theplaymate.ca. At least they advertise their upcoming events and have links to porn. Washroom good and CR is good if no one playing pool. Haven't tasted the food yet. Very good selection of ladies. I'm speaking of daytime-don't know how it is late at night. Pigale is most definitely the best strip club for me. I dont often visit strip clubs (unless bachelor party, birthdays, my friends just wanna go) but Pigale definitely is my favorite club if I do go out don't visit any other strip club. I was wondering why at the time, now it makes more sense. It seems that alot of ethnic people are causing much of the gang related violence in the city. I wish it would stop. It's a really cool show, here's the info: King (TV Series 2011) - IMDb The season 2 premiere was on yesterday. The episode was about a former police chief's son who was cheating on his wife with an East European stripper, and the stripper turned up dead. Well, the stripper was working at a club called, you guessed it ... The Silver Dollar! They showed the inside of the fictional Silver Dollar, and its layout even reminded me of the real Silver Dollar: with the bar on one side towards the front, and the stage on the other side towards the middle. For the exterior shots, they did change the sign on the club from simply "The Silver Dollar" to "The Silver Dollar Room", but throughout the show, they simply referred to it as "The Silver Dollar". Now, since this is a Toronto show, so chances are likely that some of the writers came from Ottawa. So it's possible that they decided to use a name that doesn't actually exist in Toronto to avoid lawsuits, so they may have decided to use a name from Ottawa.
