The SP-AWARD (Pink One) is for the ladies who are part of our community here on cerb. A recognition award for the ladies who take time to participate and contribute in the forums and chat areas.

 

Requirements

 

1. This is not an award for best service (that is what the recommendations sections are for) this is a award to recognize the service providers who join in the conversations, help answer some questions and give you a little view into the other side of the business!

To solve previous problems this will be the LADIES award for SP's who

contribute on the site and at the same time this award runs we will also

run the VALUED MEMBER awards (For the men). This will solve all the

problems we had in the past (I HOPE).

The number of voters on the ladies poll is amazing, a good number for 1st day.

Exactly. And it's not as if we didn't have the chance to nominate who we wanted on the list! So strange.

Remember that there are many casual users of this site, who do not hang out in the general forums or the chat room. They are focused instead on simply conducting their business. Everyone, including these casual users, was automatically directed to the polls as compulsory viewing. It is entirely legitimate for an occasional user not to have an opinion on something with which they are basically unaquainted, and therefore to abstain in whatever form is readily available. There is no shame in that.

 

No one need be insulted by the votes that were not cast -- instead, everyone should be happy and grateful for any and all of the members who did make the deliberate choice to show their appreciation by voting for them!! Surely we can look at this glass as 83% full, not as 17% empty.

 

(And this is not a new phenomenon -- remember that in the last poll, the Valued Member "winner" was actually the fictional joke candidate, Doobdude.)

 

This is a time to give recognition and appreciate each other! Let's just relax, and enjoy it for what it is!

How does one change their name here on Cerb? I am thinking about a slight change from stevecurious to something along the lines of "none of the above" or something like that. What does everyone think? I think a name change may have some added benefits...
