Remember prostitution laws are quite different in the states and so are attitudes towards sexworkers from police. The closest thing you'll find in the states is TER, but even that source has been tainted recently by corruption and payola schemes. I suggest you use existing canadian resources like CERB to do your research, tell us where you are going or looking to visit and many of the world and domestic travelers here on CERB can likely give you some good advice or suggestions. I have traveled extensively in the U.S. as an SP and there was always a regional board which I found to be much more informative than nationwide sites such as TER. Prostitution is illegal and aggressively targeted by LE in the US. With the current mindset in the US I wouldn't want any part of their legal system, particularly in the south. If you are not willing to provide personal info about yourself (or alternatively join a date-check site, then you will definitely be taking a risk seeing providers who do not check or require references or screening techniques. Meaning you are opening yourself up to the possibility of a sting, or worse. Seeing a professional provider will probably mean providing your employment info, along with full name and phone #s. I must echo what others have said, the "screening process" most SPs use down there seemed a lot more onerous than anything I have encountered around here.
