Leolist has gotten so bad.  It’s a gong show. 
They’re basically providing a forum for scam artists.  
I know verified photos aren’t bulletproof, but they’re most often legit in my experience. Perhaps they should only allow ppl to place an add if they are willing to provide verified photos. 
Risking an encounter with an unverified ad is like playing Russian roulette with 11 of 12 bullets still in the chamber. 
But I guess they make the same money off of the fake ads as with the real ads.

Bottom line is the scammers buy ads too. They'd loose most of their revenue if they found a way to stop them. 

As far as LL goes, I tend to assume it's fake until proven otherwise.

    The smaller volume of ads and better ratio of legit providers shouldn't be a reason to drop our guards.

    The same people/groups behind more sophisticated scam ads with fake verified fake pics and reviews, have a strong presence on LYLA. Fake clients, fake providers profiles(including Verified Independents) and fake recommendations. with Some linked to countries with poor Human Rights records.

     As with ads from any other websites, references and recommendations from people you know will make a huge difference.

LL also promotes their own fake ads to force us to pay for more ads/bumps. There is a toggle button at the top of the screen to show verified ads only. 

I know we've compiled a list multiple times how to research individuals. IMO there should be a social present (OF, Snap, Twitter, Tiktok, ect) of some to validate legit providers when doing your research.  If there is no further links outside of the ad, I'd pass. 

Would there be a website we'd prefer to promote/push that we as a group can out rank LL? Massage republic would be a top contender. Provides lots of extra information that isn't available on LL and it's easier on the pocketbooks than LL and other paid sites from a SPs point of view.
