For instance we put one up today of an asian lady (here is the link) http://www.escorts-canada.com/cgi-bin/ad?id=8066 Notice under her photo it has a verified image They must send us a photo holding a piece of paper with their E.C. Account number on it... the problem we still have however is when 2 or more ladies work off the same ad. They verify the photo as one lady and when she is busy others take the calls so they can easily circumvent this - that problem has happened in Winnipeg a lot). I think a feedback system would be great (Like ebay) but that would take some crazy programming and booking systems to make that one work. LOL... There have been a few on this site or EC and have been caught relatively quickly, and dealt with accordingly. True there still remains some questionable albums on here, that I've seen and as brought to my attention by 1 member, but those who chose to sneak in false misleading photos on this forum are only doing themselves a dis-service as they will be caught and exposed and asked to explain the deception. And of course the lower revenue from the lose of support however I think these agencies and ladies who are desperate enough to do this probably don't get much from us anyway. This is why most sites allow them to advertise (Knowingly) - in fact as far as I know I think we are the only ones who will not allow them to advertise (Are we kidding ourselves believing that integrity will make us a more trusted site? are we insane for refusing 40+ thousand dollars a year in advertising revenue? - We still get comments about other bait and switch ladies sneaking ads on E.C. and people saying "It's all because of the money and they don't care who advertises as long as they are paying for the ads"). Funny thing is... the Asian bait and switch agencies advertise on some of the discussion boards that have massive amounts of threads warning everyone they are fake (terb is a prime example). How does this make sense? I figure most people online now know what they are all about... but I feel bad for all the new guys who just start using the internet to find a date and see a beautiful Asian lady (or any bait and switch ad) and say "That is the one for my first time experience!" the guy would be so upset that he may never hire a lady again, would defiantly never hire a lady from that site again and worst case loose all trust for online photo advertising so it would impact us (who are trying to do it right). Some of those guys would later find the discussion boards and we hear it all too often ... "I wish I had found cerb before booking a lady". Let's hope more people find CERB first. mod 135639 Report post Posted August 29, 2008 You can't blame them for taking the advertising revenue.. any newspaper would so it's hard to hold them accountable as most people would not turn down advertising revenue and would not take a personal interest in that as we do. They are just the medium and may not pay as much attention to what those ads are really all about and the effect they could have long term on the business. Most sites do just care about the $$ and that drives the sites.... Sure we could all be driving hummers and stuff for that extra 40+K a year so maybe I am being stupid for taking a stance but I do think it will damage the industry if it's allowed to continue. On another note but in the same category... From the looks of it your really ticking off the bait and switch CL abusers ... I read the email in your blog and the grammar and spelling kill me! I thought I had bad spelling!! (Did you point out that looser and loser are totally different words?) .... Trust me i thought of it , but you may not be aware of the hoops you must jump through to post in that section,including leaving your phone number and other reference details. I have nothing to hide but it's hardly worth my effort. I believe they instituted these measures because of the sillyness between agencies and indys posting false ads, not just here but in other cities as well. It's fun to flag but I also enjoy letting them hang out to dry, but i realize not all those who use cl visit here or terb or my blog, so they don't know any better and are likely victims of B & S. I'm glad yall are enjoying my blog, it's fun and it's a good place to refernce known B&S numbers, if ever your not sure feel free to check the (unfortunately) growing list. If I've missed one, let me know and I'll add it. Next week I'll have a post about a once popular portal and how they've resorted to submitting to b & s practices to maintain revenues.
