It is more enjoyable when engaged in oral not to have a mouthful of hair. I generally prefer shaved, but I do think it is cool when a woman has groomed their pubic hair into a shape (triangle, landing strip, etc.). You can catch an STD or STI regardlesss of your pubic hair situation. With regard to hygiene, just shower and wash with a mild soap once a day and you'll be fine.
