Most of them are natural and I think likely it is a cultural things in those regions of the world to be natural. Unfortunately some of them (likely under pressure for more business as there is a misconception that all men like shaved) have started shaving recently. I think the trend started in the eighties when you saw more of the tangas and thongs become more visible outside. Remember those aerobics exercise videos? TV told me the reason why so many ladies go bald is to project the image of being more nubile, which in general guys are more predisposed to being attracted to - as evidenced throughout the history of man. That is to say, (like a bra - hehe) it's an optical illusion. Know why ladies like heels so much? ...or use lipstick? It's all based on science to hitting innate sex cues in people.
