I don't have an "alcohol budget", I just don't feel the urge to go out on a beer-run... Non-alcoholic: Chocolate milk, fruit juices. Athos 108589 Report post Posted August 5, 2012 Well ... Alchohol ... I'm a beer guy, although I'm suffering right now because my favourites are made in NL at the Yellowbelly brew pub. Their fighting Irish Red is a stellar ale and their Stout could put Guinness out of business. I am also a big Boddington's fan. Scotch ... Single Malts (haven't met one I don't like, but the quest continues) Gin and tonic (quite partial to Bombay Sapphire) Wine ... Reds and whites of various kinds Margueritas ... Alcoholic: Cold beer of many varieties, various wines depending upon what's being consumed with it, Glenfidich scotch straight or on ice, Vodka on ice and more beer. CristyCurves 169032 Report post Posted August 14, 2012 I love a well made ceaser, always with celery, not the bean! the best way to make a ceaser imo: in a chilled glass rub top with a wedge of lemon, then roll rim in a mix of celery salt, salt and pepper place in ice, vodka, clamato juice, a slash of worchestershire sauce, tabasco, lemon and lime juice, add a sprikle of cerlery salt garnish with a stalk of celery and a wedge of lemon. non alcholic- chocolate milk, or pink lemonade 1 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I love love love PEACH BELLINI, and the place that make`s the very best ones IMO is Moxie`s (and yes, I always choose the Moxie Sized :) I also love margaritas and so far the best ones I have had were from Casey`s (they have alot of other sexy mixed drinks that are super delish too) and at Felina`s Restaurant on Bank St. Oh yes and Caesers....I like those too, the best place for those was OLIVE GARDEN..anyone remember those? Rounding Third 9567 Report post Posted August 14, 2012 Non alcoholic: (in descending order of preference) Water, coffee, tomato juice, usual array of breakfast juices (apple/orange etc), regular tea, Ginger ale, Seven-up Alcoholic (very occasional drinker) - Rye and coke, rum and coke, beer (usually domestic Maritime brands like Moosehead, Alpine, Clancy's) Where I am not a huge beer drinker I do not expand into the micro brands of the exotic tastes like lime beer. Somehow, gaining an appreciation for wines has escaped me but I do have a glass now and then. After seeing some of the responses to this thread, perhaps I need to expand my horizons. Shaken over ice and strained into a frothy chocolaty mint delight lol.
