The inventor of the modern foundation garment that we women wear today was a German scientist and opera lover by the name of Otto Titsling!

Otto Titzling is a fictional character who is apocryphally described as the inventor of the brassiere in a book Bust Up: The Uplifting Tale of Otto Titzling, published by Macdonald in London in 1971 and by Prentice-Hall in the USA.

The name, a pun on "a two-tit sling," was invented by humorist Wallace Reyburn in the 1970s. Since then, the name has appeared in the game Trivial Pursuit (the makers of the game fell for the hoax, and listed "Otto Titzling" as the "correct answer" to the question of who invented the brassiere), the 1988 movie Beaches features a song by this name sung by Bette Midler, the comic strip Luann by Greg Evans,[1] and has appeared in practice questions sent out to prospective teams by the BBC 2 show University Challenge.

Additional Comments:

Also, the word "Fuck" comes from an acronym that was used in the British legal system in the 19th century. It stands for "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge."

Fuck is an English-language word; a profanity which refers to the act of sexual intercourse. It is also often used to denote disdain or as an intensifier.

The origin of the word is obscure. It is usually considered to be first attested to around 1475, but it may be considerably older. In modern usage, fuck and its derivatives (such as fucker and fucking) can be used in the position of a noun, a verb, an adjective or an adverb.

Did you know that feeding your dog raw Salmon could kill it.

Salmon Poisoning Disease

Never feed your dog raw salmon; it could make him fatally ill. Dogs are the only species susceptible to catching salmon poisoning disease from eating raw salmon. SPD is caused by a parasite within a parasite: Many salmon carry the parasite Nanophyetus salmincola; which can become infected with an organism called Neorickettsia helminthoeca, to cause a potentially fatal infection in dogs. Symptoms of SPD may develop four to seven days after eating the infected fish and include vomiting, lost appetite, fever, diarrhea, weakness, swollen lymph nodes and dehydration. If a dog infected with SPD doesn't receive treatment he will most likely die within two weeks of eating raw salmon. About 90 percent of dogs that show signs of SPD die from the disease if they don't receive treatment

Did you know that post-impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh accurately depicted the complex scientific principle of turbulence in his paintings years before scientist even understood how turbulence worked? The most interesting part is that he did these paintings during the most "turbulent" times of his life and in the midst of intense psychotic breakdowns.

I love when art blurs the lines between science and magic.
