Is this site that bad?

I'm fairly new to this business, recently joined CERB since I've heard of it from clients. Great site, wonderful and most importantly RESPECTFUL people on this board, which makes me wonder if BP and its SPs and clients are really in another category?

Since I'm practically unknown here I don't have a choice to advertise on BP and get almost all my clients from there, I just wanted to know what you guys thought of it

For myself, if a SP is not on Cerb I would not book her. Having a good Cerb reputation gives you credibility IMHO.

As an MA I still advertiae in other sites, but to be honest, but I am a cerb lady, and I would not want it other wise... I think I do the adds on the other sites becuse there is.a few good apples that yet are to find Cerb... Clients and ladoes... And they need to be saved, ;)

If I see a lady advertising on BP, I immediately cross reference it on CERB and if she's not on CERB, I probably won't see her. CERB has the crème de la crème for SP's and MA's.

I think it's fair to say that associated sites of CERB, ie EC are also good reference.

 

Some ladies are private, and have no interest in participating in the Forums, and are already established with websites and email contact so dont join and advertise here, but are still very reputable .

 

I do not use BP as a resource, and would not see a lady from there unless I see a positive separate review (usually on another board) on that provider, or if they are on CERB.

I'm not saying bp is bad its just come with a bit of uncertainty, not sure what you're going to get that is why lot cross reference with cerb. For me thought I find that cerb give more of a feel for the lady, usually more descriptive and by checking out her rep and other post it give you a bit of an idea of the person. I find bp is like judging a book by its cover could go either way. But I've seen a lot of the ladies advertise on both. Another thing is what kind of clientele do you want may wanna ask the ladies this but I find there is a lot of nice gentleman on this board were as bp you don't know who is calling and what to expect. But I'm sure the ladies could give you better insight than me.

I only really use cerb now that I found it but when I fist started to be honest it was a little complicating different places for different ads. The other thing to consider is not everyone is a cerb member where bp you don't need. I also think some people are intimidated by creating a profile on cerb, I know I was at first before I knew it was such a good community. Also I think bp is in the top google search for sp in ottawa.

Well there is nothing wrong with looking fro variety, and as other have said it, there is still gems to be found, as Sexysophie said, she didnt even know about CERB until one of her clients actually brougth it to her attention, and she needed to start somewhere.., and is the same with the gentlemen... CERB is a great community and as I expressed on my earlier comment... we all have to start somewhere... and even when the fact is that 90-95% of the gentlemen I meet are CERB members.. sometimes there is good apples in the other sites, it is for the ladies and the gentlemen to also to learn screening processes.. something as simple as a couple of emails or txts or a phone conversation can tell alot about the person you are about to meet...

It took me a while to find Cerb when i first started surveying the scene, and it can be intimidating when you first open the door and look in. Then you need to learn the rules both written and assumed before you feel comfortable enough to start to participate, and then will you fit in ? these are things most think about when first here so it takes time to get comfortable.Its also easy extremely easy to jump on to -------- and look around without anyone knowing your even there,check out photo,s see who advertises on a regular basis decide if you might test the waters.From the other perspective a sp can "set up" her business in minutes so of course its going to be a buyer and seller beware kind of marketplace. To me in the simplest form thats what B/P is" an open air marketplace " that people can wonder around and others show there wares and try to gain clientel (in no derogatory terms) with places like cerb, e/c ,and to a lesser extent perb and those with their own webpresence"s are the shops to the sides, whose doors you must step thru to actually see the usually finer (but not always) products inside !

An experienced Hobbyist will check multiple resources and the integrity of those resources.

 

If you see an ad you like on BP, the first thing to do would be to check CK's diary and then run it through Tineye or another reverse image search.

Cerb does not have as many ads as places like BP.

It really is more of a recommendation board/reputation board than an advertising forum; Granted it accomodates advertising quite well.

 

I found Escort Canada first (the sun was all I knew of when first being curious and not looking online yet) when I first started delving into this "hobby" (btw I hate using that word to depict it)

Then a few other places like BP including CL before it was shut down (for escorts)

I imagine the average person ventures into it similarly. The OP seems to have done it this way; as have a few others on this site I'm sure.

I learned about Cerb through others who were already members here (the ladies anyways :P)

Everything else snowballed from there...agency websites, various other advert pages that many ladies and agencies use who are also on here.

 

In the end however, I use cerb to communicate with the ladies here, gain information about providers/agencies(recommendations), cross reference with the cowboy diaries/cerb/terb to make sure I'm safe in new ventures... and yes I do read the adds aswell.

Of all those things mentioned above..only one of them I can do on any other site.

One final point, I don't have to log into an account on BP in order to read a lady's add...so it's also more convenient to browse through

Maybe BP's not bad as such, but just looks like it is compared to cerb.

 

BP does have two good things which I found useful:

- Shows up high in a Google search for "escorts Ottawa"

- Many of the more thought-out posts (which suggest to me a more established lady) refer to this thing called "cerb"

- Once on cerb, you can learn what you need to join this hobby/lifestyle in a proper, gentlemanly manner.

As a ''long-term'' member I would tell that BP is not a ''bad'' site but I can understand why some people considered it as it. As a SP, I advertise on both site. When I first start in Ottawa, I was posting on CL before it shut it down. I didnt know about CERB! Some of the out of town doesnt know about here.. but only post on BP even if they are not ''bad'' girl.

 

Yes, for both hobbyiest and SP, BP can be hit and miss! I have to admit I receive way more kinda ''Available now?'' ''Hru?'' ''Wanna party?'' type of text from BP BUT I met a LOT of great guys from there too!! Some of these guys doesnt know about cerb so they consult BP only. I have to admit that CERB have more gentlemen, people who knows more about the etiquette when communicate with SP.

 

I would suggest you to continue to advertise on BP if it gets you more business... and if you meet great people from there... why not!? Let you the time to build a reputation here too.. and you will meet very nice guys from here.

I've only had a few experiences here and I always thought that I would only go for SP's here. I do go onto BP and look around but had no desire to choose one from there.

 

Well one night last minute, I thought I would try to find someone. Seemed to be a dead night and couldn't find anyone on here that I wanted to see. There was one on BP that I liked and took a chance. Sent a text arranged a time ect.

 

I was a little nervous about it but she told me she was independent. Just before I left, I actually saw her on CERB. Felt more at ease at that time.

 

There seem to be some who come into town and aren't on CERB. They look hot. At that point I would look at Cowboys Diary. Very timely as there are a couple of girls running scams on BP

Not everyone knows about cerb. I can't tell you how many gents I introduce to our wonderful site and therefor I believe that not all ladies know about it either. This site grows daily and it grows because the users promote it!

I have found that it can be hit and miss on BP, although I have had some great visits with girls from there, the percentage of 'misses' is much greater that those I have met on CERB. I have had mostly good meetings with individuals here and they come across as more 'professional' and not just looking for the quick buck.

There are those who advertise in both places and therefore can be 'cross referenced' is an added plus (seems to make good sense to me).

 

I guess for newbies it is a matter of finding CERB in the first place and then using it as an added tool in your quest to meet extraordinary ladies. HHE

Thank you all for replying to this thread (I know I'm a bit late!) For me its not an option to stop advertising on B/P, but I am trying to take SPs and hobbyists advices and try to have a name on CERB too! You'll see as time goes if I succeeded ;)

Well, this is my first post here. I normally cross-reference BP to "boards". I had been trying to sign up for cerb for a few months but continued to get into a loop of - something to do with spammers not allowed etc. So, for some people, access to cerb was not available and BP would have been onbe of the few places where one could actually see who was available.

 

Having said that, I will be looking to meet up with some of the fine ladies that I have seen on this site and will probably by-pass BP for some of my future visits to the Capital Region.

To be fair, CERB has very little presence in places like Mississauga/Toronto and much of the GTA and surrounding areas as very few posters use it, especially the ladies. If you were to go into the Durnham/Peel region, four ads are up for a period of over a month, pretty sad.

 

I would not use this site for advertising, which should be obvious given that I only have a few posts to my name and am in the GTA but this place is great for Ottawa/NB/NS it seems and I would suppose Quebec but my french is not up to snuff to even bother looking in there for even volume.

 

That being said, -------- has known to have its fair share of issues and would book a girl on here over one on BP if there were ones who actually posted.

I recently saw a sp from bp who has recently joined cerb. She has no recos so I toftt. She was very unprofessional, so I would not repeat. I will certainly look for cerb reviews next time before booking.
